Its a good thing these 2 arent in the same world. but still, alicorn charged twilight wins. As superman is vulnerable to magic, that one blast would send him TO THE MOON! Of course tbh, superman probably could do it, but not without injury. Besides, superman is from an OP comic, and twilight is from a show about magic talking ponies Taking this into consideration, its kindof an unfair debate. Regardless, they both kick ass in their own worlds.

You realize Supercharged Alicorn Twi is barely a landscape-buster, while Supes punches and destroys planets easily, right?

 

Comparing Twi to Superman is like comparing an Ant to a Whale. It's not only unfair, it's a ridiculous hyper mega godstomp in Supes' favor.

I'm back a month later. It HAS been shown! It is canon that Twilight can teleport objects independently of herself. Here are twenty one frames from season two, episode twenty-one, Dragon Quest. Twilight teleported Spike and rainbow Dash to opposite sides of the room, simultaneously. I made the animated GIF myself.

Superman isn't weak to magic, he's vulnerable to it, as in he isn't specially resistant to it. That being said, Superman tears Twilight in half before her brain can even process he's there, flies her into Pluto, and goes back to Earth to drink coffee with Batman in the span of 10 seconds. This is a horrific stomp, even Alicorn Powered Twilight would die horribly to the Man of Steel

He only lost because of concern for Billy. Regardless, him surviving a shot from Black Adam puts him so far above Twilight's damage tier, it isn't even funny. Twilight is a drooling idiot of a magician compared to some of the people Superman fights against. He can just dodge her attacks regardless, she's moving at the pace of a slug by comparison. 

 

I love how people just go "Well, people hurt Superman with magic. Twilight wins!" and fail to take into account who's using that magic. Black Adam or Shazam, both are so far above anyone in MLP in terms of magic, it's shameful. And Superman survives their magic just fine. 

 

I swear, if this thread devolves into another den of fanboys who know nothing about Superman and just scream "Weak to magic" over and over again....

Basically. The speed gap is enough that Twilight can't even hit him with dumb luck; having the power to hurt him is useless.

Not that she can hurt him in the first place. You could only make an argument for this if she was at her level of power post absorption, but even then, that leads into an absolute mess of judging celestial movement vs mountain destruction

Let me quote what I said in another topic:

 

Superman is NOT invincible. Kryptonite, Magic and Red Sunlight etc. are not even needed in order to harm him. He can still be hurt by strong villains like Darkseid, Doomsday and Mongul etc. so I know for a fact Goku's Kamehameha or Dragon Fist etc. would easily be enough to break through his durability level. The fact that Screw Attack made Superman tank Goku's energy attacks with literally no damage at all was a complete load of BS...Heck, Superman can't even tank Doomsday's fists without sustaining major damage...So I'm pretty sure Goku's punches would be enough to hurt him. =P

 

Heck Superman has also gotten his butt kicked by people who were nothing more than mere humans inside power suits...

 

Goku is featless compared to Superman? Ha I think not. Did Superman die to save the world twice? Did Superman ever fight somebody like Frieza who could destroy entire planets with just one finger? Or Perfect Cell who could destroy an entire Solar System? And then there's Majin Buu who's power literally threatened the entire universe. But like I said it would really depend on what version of Superman we're using. Goku stomps any of the earlier versions of Superman like any of the ones from any of the cartoons the animated series or movies. Hell, I bet even Saiyan Saga Goku, Raditz, Krillin, Tien or even freaking YAMCHA could beat the earlier versions of Superman like those...

 

But if we're talking about any of the later versions of Superman from the comics like Pre-Crisis or the any of ones who sneezed away galaxies and/or pushed planets and universes etc. then yeah Goku is fucked.

And then there's Majin Buu who's power literally threatened the entire universe. He could teleport anywhere instantly and destroy anything in space and then revert completely unharmed even though his body gets destroyed into molecules. And let's not forget the mighty Lord Beerus and Whis.

I know Darkseid is powerful but I still feel like Superman's adversaries pale in comparison to Goku's. For example let's say Doomsday fought Perfect Cell. Doomsday was killed merely by being slammed into the Earth. So basically even if all else failed all Cell would have to do is self-destruct and then regenerate and kick Doomsday's weakened ass. (Though really I don't think Doomsday would even survive the explosion)

And let's say Darkseid fought Majin Buu. He was nearly impossible to kill. He would always still live even if one single molecule of him was still intact pretty much sorta similar to Cell. He could pretty much just blow Darkseid away with his kind of power. I mean just one palm planet burst attack and then boom, no more Darkseid. Before anyone contradicts me on this anyone who has seen DBZ knows that Majin Buu is ridiculously powerful. And Kid Buu is even more so.

It's not really Twilight anyway, unless they're going to pull an SSG explanation on us and she naturally absorbed alicorn powers. Second best version of Twilight still doesn't come close to hurting him.

Not particularly. Just throwing damage aside for a second, Superman outspeeds Twilight Sparkle by powers. No exaggeration, It's to the point where Superman can fire off a thousand+ punches before Twilight could process a thought, and the resulting blast still wouldn't hit him.
