For all the Pokémon fans out there, you probably know that there's a new game coming out called Pokémon omega ruby and alpha sapphire. The games have exclusive content with Latios in omega and latias alpha. I love latios but I want mega latios and it'll probably only be exclusive to omega. I'm not sure which game to choose as a result. What do you guys think?

Most likely an event will pop up were you can get the one that dosent appear in your game.

I cant decide either.. i had the original Sapphire, but lost Ruby.. but i wish i had more money in my gaming fund :/

 

but I had Latias (the one that showed up in Sapphire i think), but if you want the other one, get Omega

I know how you feel. There's a certain Pokémon I really want to get, but I'm afraid it'll be a version exclusive in Alpha Sapphire, as I'm going to get Omega Ruby myself.

 

I presume that you're going to get Alpha Sapphire. How about count up the things you can't wait to see in both Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire? Do you want to see Kyogre or Groudon? Do you want to see Team Magma or Team Aqua? Are there any version exclusives you want to use? All of that stuff. I hope my advice helps you.

Their megas are like exactly the same, so it doesn't really matter to me.  You could always trade for the other on gts.

 

I'm getting ruby and my friend is getting sapphire, because my birthstone is sapphire and his is ruby.

I'm going for Alpha Sapphire because I had Sapphire as a kid.

 

Also you could access the GTS from the 3DS, where you couldn't from the GBA. So you could go for a ridiculous/outrageous trade there if you want a Latios.

 

Third these remakes should mirror Emerald, just like how Heart Gold and Soul Silver mirrored Crystal with the Suicune story. So you will most likely be able to catch both.

Although cool in a sense, mega evolutions seem a little unnecessary to me and I'm not too enthusiastic about it. Honestly if you feel like one of these forms appeals more to you then you should buy the game with that form. With the internet and the highly felxible trade system Pokemon games have nowdays your bound to get both forms eventually.

This is what I think, they usually do something like this. (They had a previous Latios/Latias event for one of the older games if I recall correctly?)

I'm pretty sure I'm getting Alpha Sapphire, just because I like Kyogre more than Groudon mostly. 

 

The two megas for Latias and Latios don't look to different honestly, and as for getting both Latias and Latios, i'm sure an event will come out eventually, or you can always trade for it.

 

But yeah, i'm basing my choice off the legendary really. ;p 

 

My brother will maybe get the game and get the other version anyways.
