gaming The THQ Fan Club

THQ is the creator of various gaming masterpieces during the early 2000's. My favorite games consist of their Spongebob games and Scooby-Doo! games. These would include SD Night of 100 Frights, SS Battle for Bikini Bottom, Lights, Camera, Pants!, Revenge of the Flying Dutchman, and the SS Movie Game.

All of these games are nostalgic classics, and they deserve some love. They're pretty underrated as is, so that's why I decided to make a fan club of the early THQ's successes.

Yes, the company that made games based of Nickelodeon shows. I played some of them like Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom, The Spongebob movie game, and Nicktoons Unite. Admittedly, some of them don't really age well. I found Nicktoons Unite kind of borning. Loved the idea but it was just dull.

Wondering my favorite, Battle for Bikini Bottom. It's basically like if you combined Banjo Kazooie with the humor of early Spongebob. Which is weird since most games based off of shows and movies tend to suck.

I agree, my personal favorite is BFBB. The Movie Game technically copied its engine, as it came after this game, but regardless, I loved that game, too. I have Nicktoons Unite, and I'd have to say that I prefer its sequel, Battle for Volcano Island, better. Unite was OKAY, I kinda liked it, but I probably won't play it again for a while.

I loved THQ games when I was a kid. Some of them that I loved as I kid I still enjoy today like Spongebob: BFBB. And there's some games that they've made that I enjoyed as a kid but now when I play them I realize how bad they are such as Spongebob's Atlantis Squarepantis. (Man, that game is bad and so is the episode.) But, the Spongebob games were usually good.

I thought you meant THX for a second. I was about to post that loud annoying sound that plays at the beginning of every movie. THQ makes some pretty good games. I particularly liked The Spongebob movie game.

Attack of the Toybots was my favorite Nicktoons title, though mostly because I got to play as XJ-9 and Gir

Darksiders, yo. It's really too bad the company went out of business in spite of how amazing these games were. I've only just started the second but I always heard it's better than the first. I'm not far enough to say one way or the other but it can only get better from here.
