Mine has to be Zelda 2 Link no Bouken. Due to the fact that in the famicom version he just stabs items.

Some person on the internet said this should be a valentines card.

 

Well the Japanese Link doesn't agree. Friggin stab it!

The kid was tied with ropes though in the JP version, in compared to the US/PAL version. So it makes somewhat more sense to free someone, rather than being overly exited and holding the kid in the air like it was an item

This is small and silly, but the first time I saw the rain in A Link To the Past, I was blown away. It was one of the first games I've played, and that rain blew me away, and really sucked me in, which may be why I love Zelda as much as I do.

This is definitely my favorite moment of the franchise. The whole run had a great atmosphere and it made Midna much more likable whether you liked her or not before this.

Finishing my first dungeon in the original NES Zelda.

 

I'm dead serious.

 

You see, I grew up with the NES & all, but I never even heard of Zelda until freakin' Twilight Princess! I played that game, but could never make it past the first dungeon. I really did want to beat that game, but the game beat me.

 

So yeah, I recently bought the original Zelda from the Nintendo e-shop into my 3DS, and completed a dungeon.

 

I was legitimately ecstatic and I am NOT kidding around here. I do hope to actually get into the series properly.

That fight was a combination of epic, hilarious and bat-shit crazy.

I'm going to have to go with IronPonyApplejack's choice of impaling Ganondorf through the face at the end of the Windwaker.  After crossing the seas countless times, delving through so many dungeons, defeating so many monsters, and fighting through so many stages of the final battle, seeing Link suddenly plunge the Master Sword through his face provided the greatest sense of finality I could have ever hoped for.

I like the cutscene after beating Ganondorf in TP, especially wearing the magic armor and after you drink a great fairy's tears. You look all gold and godly in the scene

Beating the deku tree dungeon. I had a used legend of Zelda OOT cartridge as a kid. I mostly played on the previous owner's save because i liked running around outside the castle. I tried making my own save file, but I always got stuck at the deku tree because I didn't know to fall through the spider web.

 

Over a decade later, I replayed the game and finally got past the first dungeon.

 

And the runner up would have to be the sailing mechanic in wind waker. It gets a lot of hate, but I really enjoyed the sailing between islands.
