general media Which do you prefer character wise, hero or villain.

Whenever you join a new fandom which character alignment do you tend to enjoy more? The heroes or the villains? Do you have any favorites for either one? What sort of villain or hero do you enjoy the most? Snarky? Peppy? Silent? Sadistic? Sweet? Or any other personality type/s? Or do you prefer neutral types? Anti heroes? Reformed villains? Personally I've found myself enjoying the villains a lot more than the heroes of any fandom. With a few exceptions of course. I enjoy snarky, smug sorts of villains, I don't know why there's just something about them I love to death.

Villains. Especially the puckish rogue flavor. Villains are always more fun!

I tend to prefer the heroes. They tend to be more developed and fun.

There are only about two villains I like, one of which could even be considered an anti-hero. Other than that I couldn't care less for villains.

Well development of villains depends on the show. In some sense, the mysterious type of villains are the best for some shows if they work well into the story. Take for instance Slade [Deathstroke] of the show Teen Titans. I will agree that more often then not, the heroes are well developed but that's due to them having the lime light or the main spot light of the show.

As for what which I like, it's a trade off depending on the show.

Same here really. There are a few shows I don't like the villain/s, there aren't many of those but there are some. Same goes for every other sort of media that can have such things.

i personally enjoy villains.
but my taste on how they act depends on how the series is like.
so, as long as they're cool and well developed, then they're cool in my eyes.
