Uhm....Thrash Metal? Since the only two Thrash bands that I don't mind are Slayer and Sepultura, and Dawn has been posting a lot of their stuff, I'll just stick to something else, how about Pink Floyd? I Haven't seen them mentioned yet.

Dude, there's been a lot of thrash metal on here lol. (Even if half of it is just Metallica.) But yea, I posted some DRI and SOD which is crossover thrash. I think crossover thrash used to be called metalcore back in the 80's but I'm not sure.

The name Metalcore wasn't existent in the 80's since the genre wasn't coined up until the 90's, anyways since we've mentioned Metalcore I might as well leave one more Metalcore band, just for the sake of it.

One of the oldest Metalcore albums, by one of the earliest pioneers of the genre

I only have two of their albums on CD and on my Ipod touch. Fly by Night album & 2112 and I love their style of music. Geddy Lee is an insane bassist at that. They have tons of albums that I do know I need to check out more too.

This whole album is amazing

Social Distortion are good

And anyways I might as well leave some Rush since we're on the topic, I'm excited to see them live this summer, even though I missed Opeth and In Flames when they came, Rush might be able to make up for it.

Rush's style is Progressive Rock, though I'd think that you'd already know that, but if you enjoy Rush a lot then you should check out Porcupine Tree, and also you should check out more Rush.

Oh don't worry we're all fanboys for a certain band, and honestly I could run off with a gigantic list of Radiohead songs that I love. I should also check trough your list since I've been meaning to listen to more Rush.

Anyways leaving yet again more Radiohead, because I don't know what else

I said that they were alright before, but yeah they've been able to grow onto me recently. But anyways gonna leave some Matt Mays here, an awesome dude who's from the area that I live in.

Also leaving some Neurosis, because everyone here needs to stop listening to whatever they're listening to and listen to how amazing they are. Neurosis are all hands down the greatest Sludge band of them all.

Oh okay then. Their debut album is one of my favorite punk albums ever. I actually like it more than their self titled.

Might as well leave some stuff from it.

Those were both good songs, and while we're on the topic of Punk, I might as well leave some Propagandhi on here, since I don't mind hearing a little bit of Punk every once in a while.

One of my favorite punk bands would have to be the Descendents. "Milo Goes to College" is a masterpiece of skate punk and has a lot of really angsty moments, as well as a few freakouts.

One of the most emotional songs I know.

Now turn away,
'Cause I'm awful just to see
'Cause all my hairs abandoned all my body,
Oh, my agony,
Know that I will never marry,
Baby, I'm just soggy from the chemo
But counting down the days to go
It just ain't living
And I just hope you know

That if you say
Goodbye today
I'd ask you to be true

'Cause the hardest part of this is leaving you

I used to think that song was the most emotional thing when I used to listen to MCR a long time ago.

But anyways for me one of the most emotional songs I know is Videotape, it's about someone dying and he's recording a videotape for his family. One of the songs that I listen to when I'm depressed.

There's quite a bit more examples that I can think of, but this song seems to stick out of me the most.

Speaking of emotional, I just put on "Deathconsciousness" by Have a Nice Life on the recommendation of Djenty.

I'm only one track in and I can tell this is going to be a downer.
