I've noticed that you and I seem to think on the same level most of the time RD, particularly about music. There's just a few moments like the Bon Jovi incident.

Sublime's not really rock, but screw it 'cause Sublime.

I only know a few Sublime songs, but I really like "What I Got" and "Doin' Time"

The Poison is the only album of theirs I particularly like, really. I like the vocalist, though.

Yeah that album is actually pretty good, I actually listened to it yesterday cause it had been a while since I listened to any BFMV.

Oh. Em. Gee. I forgot how epic I Won't See You Tonight was with it's combination of guitar and piano. <333333333

I've always liked the first part more than the second part though.

Yeah dude, and if I recall, you are also a huge Disturbed fan? Cause I am too xP

Dude...that part where it like builds up and then it goes to that part that goes like "No more breath inside, essence left my heart tonight"

Yup. Previously my favorite band of all time though I've let others tie with it lately and I haven't listened much since I had to get a new MP3 Player. :'(

I also haven't checked out Device yet either. Been too caught up in other things to really branch out with music lately. lol

"No more breath inside" is easily the single best part of the album even if I do love Second Heartbeat as a song more.

Device is pretty disappointing to be honest. But there is a song that features Matt Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold, I like that song.

My favorite part of the album is probably the part of Eternal Rest that starts at 2:40

Another high point of the album to be sure! I think I made mention to it earlier when I was listening to it but not sure if it was here or somewhere else.

Draimon is easily my favorite vocalist besides maybe Shadows or Stu Block.

Gonna post some Wire, because they're Wire.

So you and RD92 are like twins? Well then... apart from BtBaM, me RD92 are like polar opposites LOL.

 BtBaM

Speaking of them...

This album and a few other songs are the only BFMV songs I know. Waking The Demon (Screamo version, hate the clean vocals version so much), Scream Aim Fire and Tears Don't Fall are easily my favorites.

The Poison is the only album I really like. But the song "Scream Aim Fire" is pretty cool I guess. Waking the Demon isn't too bad either.

I am literally sweating from rocking so hard to this song. Even among my favorite bands and music there's few that make me rock out this hard. I luuuuuuuuuuuuurve this song.

I never listened to Shinedown, I always figured they were one of those boring generic radio rock bands...

The song was okay I guess, I wasn't super impressed by it, but it wasn't bad.

Don't dis the radio, it's where I find most of my music outside of AMVs on Youtube.

That song is one of those that hits home sooooooooooooo well for me that I can't help but get pumped from it.

True art right there^

That's only my favorite album of all time. It speaks to me on such a deep level that I hadn't known about before I found Godspeed.

Anyway, I'm jamming on my favorite album of 2012 now.

And keep in mind this is only disc one. The second disc is another 55 minutes.

You can't tell me this track doesn't fuck your face off.

#POST-ROCK

Anyway, I don't have too much post myself, if you could recommend some that'd be pretty cool.

This is one song that's pretty fun to play on the guitar. And of course, amazing album art too.

Explosions in the Sky are essential

God Is An Astronaut are one of my top favorites in this genre. I highly recommend them, but they are a bit more "space-y" compared to the rest

Besides that, there's stuff like Mogwai, Swans, Sigur rós and Neurosis that you should check out

I listened to Diamond Eyes by Deftones again, and the song "Diamond Eyes" has really grown on me. I still need to listen to the album a few more times so I can really get a feel for all the songs.

Actually, I have a music taste of rock in your thread.

Its from a band called: I see stars.

Even though I like their music, I have lots of dubstep music.

Any who, here's one of their new songs which will come out in August.

The you in the title is normal, because they use you a lot.

Heres another one by I see stars called "NZT48"

I love that album, Sextape and You've Seen The Butcher are my favorite songs off that album, though Diamond Eyes is awesome as well

I'm quite fond of their latest album as well

This is more Metal than Rock, but who cares?

So the new Avenged Sevenfold single came out today, and it is BEYOND disappointing. I've never heard a more bland, boring, simplistic song by them in my life. There's absolutely no energy in this song. The only decent thing is the solo, which is kinda growing on me. I really hope that this is the worst song on the album cause this is so disappointing. Although they seem to always choose their shittiest songs as singles, so I think it's safe to assume that the other songs will be much better.

I love this song, and this album.

Yeah its songs/artists like these I could listen to at any time. They are timeless and just flatout awesome. Up the Irons Iron Maiden are without a doubt my favorite band of all time easily.

Venom is better than Iron Maiden but people never take me seriously when I tell them that... *Insert pony shrug*
