New 3-Legged OC

So basically, my girlfriend has been trying to make pony casts, and on one of her attempts she got left a well-formed pony minus one leg. She insisted I make an OC out of her, so... I made Pebble Road here.

 

 

Been playing with lazy (sorta) ways to maybe do a background, so...

She's an upbeat little thing. I don't think it bothers her heavily.

This is one of the better pony OCs I've seen. Her missing leg not only intrigues curious people, but it's also makes the overall design very effective since there aren't many pony OCs with missing legs. Her colours are pleasing to the eye too. Not to mention that I find it rather refreshing to see that she's an earth pony.

 

What is Pebble Road's talent? She obviously has a shovel for a cutie mark, but does her cutie mark story tie in with how she lost her leg? :3

In line with her origin of being sparked from a malformed pony cast, my girlfriend talked me into her being born this way--originally I was gonna have Pebble lose it due to an attack (timberwolves?), but instead, she was just born a cripple and learned to deal with it gracefully.   Regardless, her talent is moving earth. She's very proficient at digging with her front hooves, and while she can technically walk without her prosthetic, she needs its added stability to dig.

 

And thank you so much.   I'm definitely in the camp that there needs to be more earth pony OCs. They're not even that disadvantaged really, their talents are just a little less... flashy, I guess?

Either way, I try to avoid color clashing when I can.  I'm glad to hear I was successful picking out her palette.
