Dashia says, "That is for Lord Grigori to decide. He was the one who showed me my dragon blood." Dash reverts to her pony form. It seams she can now protect her joints with dragon scales. Dashia goes over to Elegron and gives him a kiss. She slips a pad and small box into his packs. "Remember I will always love you. Even if I take another mate, my heart only is for you. I must see where this path leads. In time I may return to you. Until then the pad holds everything." She whispers to him.

Darkeye looks at Elegron. "You idiot. You think everything is easy don't you? This isn't done". Darkeye knew what was about to happen. He went over to Rain and hugged her. "We will leave this cursed please if you want and those cursed ponies. This Elegron is not to be trusted, he is a traitor. My father was right, he won't protect friends. Flamestreak is a living example". Rave's body started to twitch. A shadow formed above it. It hissed. It was Rave's tormented soul. "Zebras, raiders, Sunshine, traitor" Rave hissed the last word looking at Elegron. "Everything that has happened today is your fault Elegron and others". He looked at Storm Fury and flew to him. The shadow entered Storm Fury's body, starting to take control, spreading magical corruption all over his body. The only way to stop it would be to kill Storm Fury, otherwise Rave would have a new host to carry his tormented soul. Darkeye started to lead Rain away. "Don't look at it. Everything will be ok". Darkeye opened a patch in a wall outside of Twilight's office and pressed a button and then sealed the wall without anyone noticing. He had activated a silent self destruct system. "Hope you die a painful death Stabledweller. You have to be stopped. You've committed great crimes" Darkeye thought. He was carrying Rave's body with him and leading Rain away.

Felkan: "Storm. Snap out of it. That's not you."

 

His efforts were unless, dark corruption was too much to fight against. All the Bats stood frozen, not wanting to be the one who killed their leader and brother. Eventually it was Felkan who stabbed his brother in the

 

Felkan: "I killed him. Our leader. Dead. What did I do?"

 

Sythia: "What you had to."

 

Felkan: "But who will lead us now?"

 

All: "You now. Your in charge now."

 

Vi dropped into the room carrying Blooddrop on her back. They both had a sense of urgency about them, and both of them mostly unarmed.

 

Blooddrop: "Everyone needs to leave this building. The damage done to it is harsh and Nightmare gas will start to flood in this building soon. We need to leave before we all die."

"well the windows broken on the roof, but my team cant fly" elegron turned to dash "we still have a little time in here. when do you have to leave? oh! that reminds me, i got something for you..." Elegron pulls out spitfires thunder. "a beautiful weapon for a beautiful mare"

Dash doesn't notice the gun right away and says, "Well dragons share their knowledge through their blood. Even their magic and breath weapons. As a half dragon it will use most of my mana but I can use my dragon ancestor's breath weapon to teleport your group to the gate, Elegron dear. Would your group and you be ok with that?"

 

Dash puffs as if making a smoke ring and an emerald green ring of fire very small is seen.

 

She then notices the gun and her jaw hits the floor. "Ancestor Dash's gun. Spitfire's Thunder. How and where did you find it?"

Elegron thought back to his raid on the camp. He didn't feel bad about it, they were slavers with the insanity of Raiders. "eeyup. See, I told you I would get you something. I just wish it weren't a goodbye gift..." He looked sad. "I found it in a raider camp a while back. I just wish I could give you more."

 

"Wait... Didn't darkeye say something about a bomb? Dash we have to get out of here fast!"

"I suppose we can find a new place somewhere. What about bloodrop? Isn't she still a threat?" I asked. Heading beyond the mist now, "lets go back to the village and set up a burial for your father. We can decide what to do then." Giving him a hug, "Of all the stallions in the world, I never imagined that I would fall for a cannibal. Hey, you find love in the most strangest places." Smiling now looking him in the eyes, "Speaking of which what did you mean by Elegron paying for his crimes? We are leaving him you know."

"The pad I gave you has a task I will need your help to complete. This also isn't goodbye. I will do my best to at least get the dragons to amend the treaty. I feel full separation will lead to further hostility and another war. I also feel that dark horn may have been above the clouds and safe from the hellfire attack. "Elegron has become evil. He sided with the one that Rave wanted to stop. Rave wanted to stop Blooddrop before the Wasteland would fall under her hooves. I imagine that my father would have known what it's like to be ruled by her. He betrayed his allies and gave up without a fight, only because some other factions that does a lot of wrong, holds more authority than others. He has corrupted the lands. He is the one responsible for my father making the decision to cleanse the land. Everything is his fault. And the world will know about it. We will get a message to Rattlesnake and let him know. Elegron is also quite disrespectful. Thinks he knows everything and is the best. My father was probably one of the most skilled historian in all of the Wasteland. He had gathered so much knowledge from the past and he knew how to survive in the Wasteland. He knew even more about the Wasteland than Ditsy ever did. Now that legacy will be lost, all because of an arrogant little, ignorant stabledweller. Which is why he will hopefully die in 3 seconds, left a special surprise for him and those responsible for the Wasteland's corruption". He then smiled. He was then surprised. "I never thought I would be able to smile, and not just any smile, a smile of.... caring. I guess love is strange yes".

Blooddrop: "Yeah, heart warming moment over. Get moving before you all get consumed my the Nightmare gas. If you die now don't blame me for anything."

 

Vi, Blooddrop and the rest of the remaining Bats flew out of the structure that was rigged to explode sometime soon and moved towards the city gates to wait for everyone else to get their ass moving.

Focussing all of her mana into her breath weapon she covers the whole room. Only Dashia and her allies were teleported to the gates of Canterlot. It felt like a flame consuming them. Then the feeling of falling in then out. When they appeared they were unharmed and at canterlot gate.

 

She says, "Gate guardian, They will be leaving shortly. Lord Grigori has allowed me to say my fair wells to him. Also even if the other dragons don't agree with me, in my book, you paid in full for your crimes, Elegron. Only you will I love with my full heart."

 

Dash then kneels as if exhausted.

Elegron goes to her side "you did what you could. Just remember, in the end, all is well, and if all is not well, then it is not the end. Never forget that. Even if they don't accept me, this isn't goodbye forever. I'll still find a way to visit you." He let her lean on him and nuzzled her. "It's not over yet" he said, smiling.

Felkan: "I suppose that what he has done for us makes up for his crimes. He is excused from punishment, but don't expect any kind of kindness from us. Because of ponies like you and Rave, our species is as good as extinct. Genocide, no matter how you phrase it, that is what ponies like you cause Lightbringer. Non of my brothers or my sister want to see you again. May you die a horrible death, slowly and agonising."

 

The Bats flew back to their home with Lord Grigori. All except Vi, who stayed behind with Blooddrop.

 

Blooddrop: "Are you not going with your Brothers?"

 

Vi: "No. You promised me we would be able to spend time together like we did last night over and over again. And I want to make sure you keep that promise."

 

The two mares kissed, not caring about what ever was around them right now.

Elegron muttered something about it being ridiculous that they thought they could "punish" him in any way they haven't already. All he wanted was another ally."Damn, they are not nice ponies. Whatever, hey dash, If you can't visit me, I'll visit you. Just give me a call whenever you can" he taps his pipbuck.

Felkan: "Matters if the Dragon Oath are not ours to meddle in. To fully take an oath and be bound to the laws of Dragons, you need to go above the skies and to the Dragon Lords and pledge yourself before them. Lord Grigori should take you."

 

Grigori came down from the sky, his full body now showing. A Huge red dragon 80ft long and a wing span of 65ft standing over 70ft tall. "Dragoness Dashia. We make haste for the court of the Dragon Lords. It's a 3 day flight over the oceans out west. Say your final goodbyes to the one you love. For this may be the last time you meet for a long time."

 

Blooddrop and Vi shrugged at Dash's remark and continued with what they were doing, getting a bit more aggressive with time.

Dash nods. She kisses Elegron. "No matter the distance. No matter the time it takes. My words hold. A promise is a promise. Till next we meet my love." She kisses him deeply and bites his ear for good measure.

 

Dashia then flies up and follows Lord Grigori into the clouds making one last look at Elegron and blows him a fair well kiss.

Elegron waved dash goodbye "bye dash, I'll try not to do anything stupid while your gone" he laughed. "I'll be broadcasting news and music soon, and I'll probably not be raiding any more caravans for a while. And of course we can keep in touch with pre war technology"

Elegron was reflecting on the days events. He was sad to see dash go, but they would meet again later.

Using Rave's PipBuck, Darkeye was able to reach Rattlesnake. And Rattlesnake had news to report to the Wasteland. "Good morning folks, well, there actually isn't anything good about this particular morning. Our beloved savior and caretaker Rave Crystal has been brutally murdered by the Stabledweller and his gang. However, he did not go down without a fight. It took a lot to take him down and he died a hero. I've heard that he made a short truce with him and gave him his trust. However, the Stabledweller broke that trust and betrayed him. He joined in with those who would oppress us and kill us. You will be remembered Rave and you will be avenged. I call for all of the Wasteland to unite together against this stabledweller and cast him out. With the loss of our social leader, ponies must now look onward for new leadership. There is another pony who will take on the mantle of leadership, another pony to follow in Rave's hoofsteps. Another pony that will now lead the fight against the troublemaker. I am of course talking about the Blood Queen of the White Poison gang. Are you ready for this, are you ready to take up the mantle of leadership? Ponies now turn their heads towards you Blood Queen. Let us hope that Rave's sacrifice was not in vain and that we will be victorious. This has been Rattlesnake, bringing the true news to you".

Blooddrop and Vi stopped what they were doing before they went too far in public, and partly because of the Radio broadcast. She disregarded this second point for the time being, and turned to Elegron.

 

Blooddrop: "I guess this was the only time we were in the same side. And I see this being the last time as well. I could kill you but I'm going to be nice. So go on. Go with your team and go hide. No one in this world is on your side anymore. Everyone will be out for your blood. Make sure you can live for the 30 years before Dashia comes back." She pointed Elegron to his team in the sky chariot. If he did not start moving soon, she would have to start poking him With a Spear.

"Oh I'm not worried"

 

Elegrons voice was heard just after rattlesnakes "you know, it's funny. Usually when I kill a pony, I get sad. I don't like killing you know? But rave... He was truly evil, I gave him another chance, and he betrayed me. See, I do what I think is right. No more brutal caravan raids for me. Get in, free the slaves, get out. Stealth missions. Anyway, I have news that stable city is complete. Location will be given out to those who need help. This wasteland has hope fellow ponies. Never lose sight of that. I have a plan that will do a lot of good for the wasteland. It won't be the wasteland anymore. Imagine lush, green forests and beautiful mountains. Grass, trees, and flowers as far as the eye can see. This is our future my fellow wastelanders. My biggest contribution to this world, and one that will last for centuries."

Elegron was alone again. Not totally. He nodded to his team, and they stepped on the sky chariot, to find ponies in need of a place called stable city.

After everyone else departed from Canterlot, Vi and Blooddrop art about returning to the Badlands for some rest. These last few weeks had been strange indeed. Joyful and yet cruel at the same time. Everyone had gained something from this, and yet everyone lost something equally valuable in the process. Blooddrop had lost Wade. A pony she saw having a future with. But in the end, she gained Vi. And that's enough to almost ballance out the Scales. She also gained control over the Wasteland and the support if it's people. So the Scales where balanced for her. Everyone else surely had their own little stories to tell, but neither Blooddrop or Vi cared as this point. They just wanted to be with each other.

 

(That night.)

 

Vi: "That was great. Where did you learn things like that?"

 

Blooddrop: "Experimentation and experience play a part you know. Something I assure you, you will get plenty of."

 

Vi: "You'll have to show me some tricks sometime. So what now?"

 

Blooddrop: "Now? We just live our lives. We have a lot to do before this world can truly advance beyond the age we have been trapped in for 200 years. One day, the wasteland will adapt the secrets we have unlocked and flourish anew under the Guidance of the White Poison. One day sweet. One day."

On her way Dash explains the main reason for her choosing to follow her blood as a dragon. She hides nothing from him. She explains about the white poison gang and all they have done so far. She also explains about her thoughts on a future where ponies and dragons live in peace. The love they can share and all the good the ancient dragon knowledge can do for the world. She explains about her ancestor Spike and his love for rarity and the peaceful world he once knew. She evens says, "I don't care if it takes all my years I would like to see us coexist with them and help guide them to a better future."

"I can see the views and I understand the points you are saying. But you must understand something. We Dragons make ourselves look fierce and deadly brutal fiends as a way of protection. The truth is, we are extremely passive and nervous creatures. It's in our nature to worry about our kin. That is why we formed the treaty and segregated ponies from Dragons. As not everyone will take kindly to us and will try and make us out to he villains. Maybe the Lords will listen and we may be able to coexist one day. But not for hundreds of years. And this world you spoke off, I know it. I've seen it. I was alive to see it die. The world you think you once knew was a lie. A clever rouse. Ponies will always have to kill each other, and Dragons will always be scared of their violent nature. But their is hope, yes?"

Dash asks, "I know I will be restricted to the area above the clouds. However, a threat to dragon kind still exists. Dark Horn still is out there and her needs to answer for his crimes. I do not know how he has lived for over 100 years but I do know he was the one who caused the deaths of many a dragon, young and old alike. He also had a hoof in project hellfire. As long as he remains unpunished, I feel that The peace I seek will be unattainable."

 

Dash continues to fly with Lord Grigori. "Also the group of slayers, the bats, I feel deserve a chance to grow in numbers again. If am able I would gladly help them with that." Dash listens for Grigori's thoughts on the bat ponies.
