Will you not put the formal law aside and listen to reason? This treaty will aid both of our nations." Elegron ignored darkeye for the most part.

"What kind of ruler would I be if I so simply ignored the laws we put in to maintain the peace? It would be hypocrisy and treason. And I would be killed because of it. Not even I am immune to the law, but when necessary I can ignore a few. This is not a situation that I can. Yes all this can end. And it will end on our terms. You will surrender yourself to us and out an end to all of this, or you can leave now, and this war will not end until either you die or you kill everyone in the WPS. Soldiers, scientists, traders, men, women, children. All of them see our ways as beneficial to the world and the best way to advance. The world is against you. So to win, you need to kill the world. So. Surrender now, or leave now. Their is no middle ground."

Elegrons horn flared and his voice echoed as he slammed a hoof on the table. "THAN YOU ARE A FOOL! I PITY THOSE WHO FOLLOW SUCH AN ABHORRENT LEADER, WHO WILL NOT PUT ASIDE HER IMAGE TO SAVE HER PEOPLE." Elegrons horn stopped glowing after he had sufficiently startled everypony, and completely scared the crap out of some. "How did you take over the world anyway? Brute force? That's not the point, my offer stands. There needs to be a middle ground. For the sake of the world. Stable city will not survive without its resources or leader. I have hundreds of innocent ponies behind those walls that I am trying to protect. Don't you get it? It's not about me or you, it's about Equestria, the whole world!" He gave vi a long stare. "It's your choice. This world can prosper and so can your country, or it can fall into further ruin, and remain a desolate wasteland for all eternity. The fate of the world Is in your hands, and all you have to do, is agree to a truce."

"I get that you ponies are mad but please be considerate of whose home you are in." Leaving now, "Darkeye, let's go. We both need a min...umm have we met?" I asked the new pony. Clearly he knew my husband so something was up. "Forgive the intrusion, you came at a really bad time." Looking at Darkeye, "Are you going to be okay?"

"Err sorry rain" his horn glowed, and the table slowly repaired itself. "Vi. As you can probably tell I am very irritated by your demands. Although.... Fine then. 20 years in prison. Give me time to appoint a leader until then, and every ten years when dash comes back I get the day with her. This is my most generous offer."

"Brute. Force? You think we took over by brute force?" Vi started laughing hysterically in her chair. "How misinformed can you be? You're a leader. Your ment to know things about those you fight against. We played out cards right, took advantage of dire situations and made our way to the top. We earned the respect and admiration of the ponies we care for in our society. Right down to the last villager we trade with." She took a long pause before starting up ok her next topic.

 

"20 years imprisonment for; Treason, Mass murder, disruption of Caravans, major theft, economical disruptions and resisting arrest? No. The people will be outraged at how lenient we are being. They will call for your death, and we are obliged to answer the call of the people. You have managed to get almost every pony in the Wasteland to wish for your death. That's an accomplishment to be proud of, if you were not trying for peace. It is clear you will not back down and oblige our wishes. So this is the last time we talk under friendly terms. Now get of out of city and out of our lives. If we ever see you again, you will be captured and executed. Violently."

"I have Tried to be reasonable vi. I tried. I truly did. I even offered more than I could for the sake of the world. I give you one last chance. I would also like to point out I am not part of your country, your laws do not affect me, and I am giving you this offer out of generosity, and for the sake of equestria. I will not leave until we have a deal, this is far too important. This matter is beyond any of us. You do not have the right to deny the ponies peace, and to rule all of Equestria with an iron fist. There will be peace, one way or another." Elegron stood firm, unwavering, waiting for her to make a mistake.

Vi spotted a fatal flaw in what Elegron had just said, and was fully willing to exploit it.

 

"You say you're not a citizen of our country. By that extends you are not effected by our laws. If you want to see it like that, then I guess I could say you are not a valid pony, and I am restricted by no laws to do what I please to you."

 

She pressed a button on her new Pip-buck which sent a message to Justicars to gather around the building, with no reason why, Elegron's EFS will mark them as Blue and friendly. Not hostiles.

 

"By declaring that you don't have to follow our laws while in our home, I can ignore all of our laws, since they don't effect you. At all. Such folly."

"yes. and i am not bound by your laws. either. your point? murder would hardly be a good idea by this point. i highly recommend reconsidering my offer." Elegron knew something was up. he knew that he was pissing her off. he waited patiently for her to make a fatal flaw of her own. He was ready. "you still have to follow your laws, as you are a member of the white poison. murder is murder."

Dashia stands and backs away. "Elegron, you know I love you with all my heart, but I can't break the code. I was allowed today to visit you. Don't get yourself killed over this." Dashia pulls herself away. One of her dragoons come in and says, "Dargoness Dashia, the place is surrounded." says the Unicorn half-dragon.

"i understand dash. if it comes to a fight, i want you to make sure that you are safe. i can handle myself, you know that." elegron walks up to her and whispers into her ear "i still have a few tricks up my sleeve. oh, and when this is over, lets meet back at stable city. be sure to take a strange path so you dont lead them to the city. by the way dash. cover your ears, just trust me." he turned to vi. "right then. now to business." His horn glowed, and his voice changed to a very melodic tone. "hush now quiet now its time to lay your sleepy head, hush now quiet now its time to go to bed." his horn stopped glowing, and he looked down at the sleeping pony. "alright dash, ill still have to deal with the ponies outside, but that should be an easy problem to solve." he walked over to vi and got her pipbuck tag, then put a zebra stealth cloak over his head. "i havent harmed or attacked any of them, and therefore have not broken any agreements. its clear that they arent willing to negotiate, we should leave dash. if you want you can stay and attempt to negotiate further, but if i stay any longer i fear i will be attacked. Either follow me by your armors EFS, or meet me at stable city." he teleported outside, concealed by the stealth cloak, and located his invisible vehicle, and started to fly off silently, entirely avoiding the soldiers outside.

Dash left a note appologizing for Elegron's actions. "See you in 10 years." She was saddened that they chose that path. She plucks a hair from her tail. As she heads out she says to her, "Sorry about your tail but your people need the dna to survive. And I am sorry about the loss of your brother." Dashia departs. She heads up and vanishes into the lower clouds.

 

When Elegron returns to stable city, he finds a note on the night stand. It reads, "I will always be faster then any sky chariot. Am at the spa with your other marefriend. Cya there. -Love Always Dashia."

Elegron walks through the door of the spa and quickly spots dash. he saw her and strawberry lemonade talking. "hey girls, im here. you can stop sharing your bedroom experiences" he joked before sitting down next to dash. "sorry we didnt get to spend the whole day together, i had to take care of that problem. its sad we couldnt agree to peace, but at least i got some information"

Darkeye had tried to convince Lasher to join him, but he had refused. He at least accepted the offer of staying inside Ponyville for a while. When Darkeye returned to his home, he was filled with rage as he saw the sleeping form of Vi and her ponies stood around, not entirely sure what happened. "Back off" he ordered and they obeyed. He moved to her and picked her up. He walked with her to the guest room and put her in bed. "You've made a grave mistake Stabledweller. Magical soothing fall into magical assault in the laws, fool". He walked back into the room full of WPS Justicars. "The Stabledweller has abused his position of a diplomat and attacked Vi. He has broken countless laws and now has committed a terrible crime, using the situation of being under diplomatic protection to attack one of WPS's leaders while others were gone. This shows that the Stabledweller can not be left alone, I dread what he would do to your foals if you left him alone with him". There came some worried looks from some. "Spread the word around, spread the word around of the Stabledwellers treachery. I have somewhere to go". 

 

On the radio and old buck could be heard. It was Rattlesnake. "Hello there good folks of Equestria... and bad. We have some news for you. The Troublemaker has stepped up his game in raiding innocent caravans and killing good folks. That's right, the one has been pretending to be the good guy is still killing tons of innocents. Been doing it for 10 years now. He's probably celebrating it at his precious 'Stable City'. But you know what? We don't care. As long as we all stand together, he will never be able to break us. As long as we are all united, we can overcome any weather. He will learn that we are not easily broken. Now, I have a very special guest here. It is Rave's son and the most honorable Judge of our government, Darkeye Crystal". "Thank you. A few hours ago, me and Vi, the heads of government after the Blood Queen, tried to reach a diplomatic solution with the Stabledweller. However, he refused to be reasonable and refused all fair deals. He considers himself above any laws of any community in any area. He thinks he can destroy every ponies lives without there being consequences. After me and Rain, the leader of the Ponyville community, left the negotiating table, he abused the power of being under diplomatic protection and attacked Vi. Although he did not attack her in any serious way, causing fatal injuries, it was an assault non the less. A magical assault. 8 years in prison for magical assaults of this level, it says in the laws". "And of course you know it, you being the judge. We thank you for bringing this to us. You heard it here first folks. The Troublemaker doesn't want peace. He wants to destroy the Wasteland. If only Rave were here, he would know what to do. We must stand strong, we must stand together. The Blood Queen will protect us. This has been Rattlesnake, bringing the true news, to you". 

 

Darkeye inspected some technologies. "The Stabledweller will not be able to broadcast over the Wasteland?". "It prevents anypony from reaching more then one Pipbuck or radio with a radio signal or broadcast, unless you have clearances from WPS. The Troublemaker won't be able to counter any of my broadcast with his lies and deceit. He hasn't been able to for the last 4 years". Darkeye nodded. He would have to step up his plans.

"Why is SHE sleeping here mom?" asked violet with quiet curiosity. "You heard the news sweetie, you can't trust Elegron. He is a bad pony, he must be punished for all his crimes. Now tell your brothers to be quiet today while she is sleeping okay." I said delicately. "Okay." She went to do her homework for the evening with the others. "So what next Darkeye? Will I be in trouble for inviting over a war criminal? I don't mean to sound harsh but I only wanted peace between us." Standing close to him now, "Will any of us be ok? I imagine Bloodrop will not be pleased when she hears of this."

 

After, sending a quick message to Bloodrop on my radio, "Vi is sleeping in our home at the moment. I just thought you would like to know. Respectfully, Rain."

"Punished? If I remember correctly, he came here himself. You did not send an invitation. This was not a planned meeting. He wanted to discuss peace and by doing that, he was kinda giving himself in by doing that, coming unarmed like that. So I had to make it clear what he would face, make him know that he would have to face punishment for what he had done. It was my job as the head judge of WPS. Vi came here to talk as well. If there is any punishment, than it would be passed over to Vi as she pretty much took control over the negotiations. You did not aid him or give him any help. You pretty much maintained a neutral ground during the negotiations. However, the half breed is another matter. You gave her a book that might aid her in some kind of way and the Blood Queen might not like it. I know my father would be strangling you for giving such a book away. He was always obsessed with books, especially those who held history about Equestria". "What are we talking about?". Lasher was standing behind Darkeye. "What do you want?" Darkeye asked coldly. "I heard mention of Rave and it got me a bit upset and curious. I know he's dead, but still". "None of your business".

"As long as the foals are okay. I am okay." Turning back to Lasher, "So who exactly are you? You know my stallion obviously, how do you know him?" Suddenly realizing my lack of manners, "I am Rain, nice to meet you as well. Say where did you get a gun like that? I want one. Honey, can you get me one since I am stuck here, Please?"

"I made the gun myself so that it would fit me better. It also makes sure it only works for me as it is different from the mass produced one. It is an Anti-Machine Rifle. It's name is Fear. I know Darkeye because I was Rave's right hoof stallion. I was his enforcer. I was his brother-in-law". "I see your armor is looking fine" Darkeye hoofed at the red painted Enclave armor. "I keep my gear in top shape. You never know if something might happen. Seems like things are going down here in the Wastelands. It is not more blown up than it was before. Did Project Hellfire fail?". "It did". "Well, I'm not sorry to hear that".

Vi woke up from her state of sleep not long after being left alone. She woke with a loud War cry, sweating and angry. She sat up on the bed and it took her a minute to remember what just happened. When she finally remembered what happened, she was not happy to say the least. "He has some nerve attacking me. The Bastard will learn justice." Then she remembered the letter from her brothers. It was a notice of summoning, and she was to go to Canterlot as soon as she was able, and a happy anniversary from her Brothers. "How nice of them." She did not move instantly. She just sat for a while trying to calm herself down. She did have to maintain a public appearance.

 

Slasher: "The notice of importance has passed. You may now leave your homes and continue on with your daily lives. Sorry for any inconvenience caused today."

The door to Vi's room was open a smidge with both Rain and Darkeye outside. Violet walked in with her brothers. "Are you okay milady? We heard that green unicorn put you to sleep. We made you a get-better card too!" 

 

We hope you get better and wake up soon! I wish you the best of luck in hunting the bad unicorn and his hidden city.

The Card from the fillies was admittedly a big surprise for her. She half expected them to fear her, she was raised to believe the power instantly means that ponies fear you. I guess this was not the case all the time. The card gave her a warm feeling inside and helped her calm down quite quickly. "This is very sweet of you and your brothers. You did not have to do this for me. Thank you. And as for yiu one day joining the fight, hopefully by the time you are 18 you don't have to fight. But you seem to have a quality that runs in your family. I get the feeling that your a born leader, like your father and your grandfather, all the way back the King Sombra and beyond. It doesn't take unicorn magic or Zebra stars to tell, your going to do great things in your future." She pat the filly on her head before taking a deep sigh and bowing her head in thought.

Darkeye walked into the room where Vi was. "I see you are awake. Good, that means you can stand up. I'm sure you will have something to report to her". He told Vi about his visit to Rattlesnake. Suddenly Lasher walks into the room. "Fancy place, looks a lot better then when it was burned to the ground". "What are you doing in here? Get out. You were supposed to wait in the living room. This is government business". Lasher rolled his eyes and walked away. "Damn that sneaky little bastard".

"Hey Elegron, we were just talking about you" dash said with a smirk.

Strawberry lemonade just blushed.

Elegron decided now would be the perfect time to make it even more awkward "so dash, after you get back to earth for good, what about having kids?"

The two laughed as strawberry hid her face behind her hooves

"Sure, sounds great" dash replied before kissing him.

Rain walks in after, "Oh sorry Vi, I hope Violet didn't wake you. You feel better?" Violet ran out soon after as the room was quickly filling. I wasn't sure how far her pride was tarnished but I had ask anyway. "Anyway, here is some water, I am sure you are hungry as well. If you need anything, just ask." Smiling at her good recovery. "I will be outside, okay?" Leaving the two alone as something broke in the living room that sounded an awful lot like glass. "Lasher! How did you manage to pull this off?"

"I appreciate your hospitality and helping me in this little situation. But I'm fine. Don't concern yourself over my well being. From what I can tell, no damage was done. I'd love to take up the offer for food, but I'm busy at the moment and have wasted enough time as it is. Sorry to be a burden for what I was." She left the room, went downstairs and picked up her spears. She was about to leave, but she spotted Lasher and remembered some stories Blooddrop had told her about him.

 

"Hey. Your Lasher right? Rave's enforcer 10 years ago? Correct?"

Lasher looked at Vi coldly. "Yes. What's it to you?". 

 

Darkeye was going over some reports that Windroarer had brought him. "Tell Dr. Zomora that she has done a good job. She will be rewarded handsomely. Tell Mad Dog that he is to carry out his orders regarding the Hellhounds". Windroar nodded and soared off.
