Before Greenleaves came to Lasher, he managed to turn his head towards Leone. "What gives me the bloody rights? I was part of the Enclave. I was part of the high ranking recon assault team that traveled far into enemy territory, I took part in slaying griffins and dragons on the orders of the Enclave. Then the Enclave betrayed me and my sister and revealed its true nature. It had always pretended to be helping ground ponies, but they were never doing that. In fact, they had a plan to take over the Wasteland with heavy force, ready to inflict as much civilian casualties as needed. I managed to save my sister from being branded, but the same cannot be said for my cutie mark. Branding is a monstrous invention founded by the Enclave" Lasher spat in the direction of Leone, not getting far due to the Anesthetic spell getting in the way. "You are just another brainwashed idiot that will do everything for the Enclave without a question". When Greenleaves approached Lasher he was still angry. "Anyone who dresses up so badly doesn't have good intentions. And I don't know how I can help him, I don't know where the hell Rave is. He could be anywhere. Even though I was his right hoof pony, he was still very secretive. But I will do my best.... for you and for you only" he turned his head and spat towards Elegron. "Only for her you little shit".

"I've never been accused of being brainwashed." Leone scoffed as the deeply wounded pony spat at her, she wasn't going to pursue a meaningless conversation, by the looks of is this one had been damaged too close to home and in turn became narrow-minded and convinced himself only 'brainwashed enclavers' existed. 

 

She dully noted that Lasher was not a reasonable pony and at the very least a radical. She looked at dash and oddly couldn't convey the same feelings of rejoice as she did, in fact she didn't even recognize her and then it struck her, she couldn't recall any of the ponies she held dear, they were all a haze in her mind and about as lost as she was in the wasteland. She began to tear up under that helmet as she felt greatly disconnected as she continued to stare at dash, the lifeless yellow eyes of the helmet making it nearly impossible to see what her emotions were under.

 

Gathering the strength she lightly hugged dash, careful with her armor and only at that moment felt some comfort and connect, she could almost remember who she was and joy filled her, it was all to overwhelming, this array of emotions, anger, hatred, joy, confusion and everything else. "I'm glad you are still alive.." she said quietly to dash, a hint of her sadness in the voice.

Following the group, "Choices, choices. Any degree of in-fighting is good yes? Better stick around to watch..." Binding my spirit to his weapon, I would have to wait. Before that though, I left a little message in Elegron's mind. "Elegron scared of the big bad unicorn hahaha."

 

Taking the hoof now, "Pleasure to meet you as well Jhorvic. So how may we begin this process?" Stopping to take note of the wandering scorpions. "As I'm aware that they are quite poisonous. Your personal experience is quite knowledgeable within the WPS." Smiling now as I looked at a true master of at work.

Jhorvic: "Yes, they are very poisonous. Very deadly. The process of taming a scorpion is very simple, yet difficult to execute depending on your choice of scorpion. You to show it who is in charge, show that you are powerful enough to command and ride it. That is why albinos are much harder as they are far stronger. Simple, no? But wait, there's more. You cannot use a weapon. Bare hooves only. Now that's the difficulty of it. So are you ready to possibly nearly die? Joking, we'll try our best to not let it kill you."

Cryssi stood quiet still for a while, not saying anything. But time was not a friend and she needed to move quickly. "Greenleaves, if you can, remove the anesthetic spell from Lasher. I need him to come with me. Now."

Greenleaves' horn glowed and lasher could move again. She helped him up, making sure he didn't attack Elegron again.

Elegron approached lasher "hey, you know I'm not trying to ruin your life. Not everypony who wears enclave armor is evil. Some are, some aren't.... Well, I'm sure you don't really care about what I have to say right now, so I'll stop there."

"He's right you know. Lasher, I know he can be immature sometimes, but could you at least try and get along with Elegron?" Greenleaves said.

"Get along with somepony who forces his ideals upon other ponies? I don't think so. If he really wants to get along, it will be his job to do so. I'm not going to be putting any effort into it. I will not be staying near this monster, not while she still wears this armor as if it is honorable" he points a hoof towards Leone. He then whispers to Elegron. "I don't care what you think of me, I don't care that you favor some ponies more than others, I don't care that you are a mad enforcing idealistic freak or that you seem to be willing to give ponies a 'chance' if they have a cute little baby face, a hot body or minimum sinister looks, I just want to warn you. Those who still believe in the Enclave are lead by an illusion. The Enclave was evil to the core. Although many citizens were not, those working within the closer circles, those involved in secret missions that were not revealed to the public or those that went to the field killing innocent ground ponies and not regretting that, can't be trusted. Those that believe that what the Enclave did was right cannot be trusted. So if you are willing to give this..... Enclaver a chance, then make sure you discover who she was. What her past was, what she did and most importantly... if she still believes in the Enclave. I tell you this because I don't trust this unicorn freak that is about to receive some best forgetten information from me, this might be the last time we ever meet again". With that he walked to Cryssi. "Let's go".

Crossing led Lasher to where Kalus was going to meet them. She had arrived a bit early and had a minute to talk to Lasher alone. "I'm surprised. I would have thought with you siding with them you would have ratted me out by now. I guess I should be lucky that I was wrong. But why? Why aren't you telling them my true intentions even though in the end it will end in their death, and if you stay with them, your death?"

"If there is something I've learned as a dashite, then it is to keep to your words, to never go back on them. Something that Rainbow Dash stood for, her loyalty was famous among ground ponies and infamous among the pegasi. I was taught in my youth that Rainbow Dash was a traitor, something every Enclave school teaches. But after their betrayal, I could see who was the first one to do the betraying. She had never betrayed them, they had betrayed her. She remained loyal to her words. I gave you my word and I will stay loyal to that".

About a minute later, Kalus arrived with a teleportation spell. "Sorry to keep you waiting, you are early. Before we start, alow me to say that I am sorry for acting brash and impatient before. Like I said, I'm in a hurry. So I'm sorry for that. Now, Cryssi said you would be willing to part with the information I requested. So may I have the information on Rave that you have Lasher?"

"I am ready to talk, but if you are going to be extracting anything from my brain, then you can forget. There is a lot more in there than just information about Rave that is best not be revealed to the world.... and best be left alone, no way that I'm going to allow anypony invade my privacy. So, in what form do you want the information?" Lasher asked.

"Verbal communication is the only way you need to convey to me. The memory orbs are a last resort. Once you are done odds are that we will never speak nor even see each other again. Maybe. I request that you tell me as much as you can, it will help me more than you could picture. When ever you are ready. Preferably now."

"What's there to tell? He had a righteous beef against Raiders, Enclavers and Raiders. He was wronged by the Wasteland and so in turn, he wanted to wrong the Wasteland. In his eyes, everypony was infected by the Wasteland, he wanted to cleanse it by activating all of the sleeping Megaspells in Equestria. He is well versed in dark magic, he is a direct descendant of Sombra. So I guess it is his duty to be perfect when it comes to dark magic, probably a family duty. He also was a master at using Energy Weapons and Survival. I think that Ditzy Doo could have learned a lot from him. He also knew how to make ponies do things for him, he was very versed at convincing ponies, he could smooth talk anypony. He always had secret bases in the Wasteland. Some of which he acquired when I was his companion, some he already had. I don't know much about his family, the only family member that I knew was his sister Blackrose Crystal, whom he had me kill. He never really spoke of his father or mother, but I'm guessing that either one of them was heavily invested in dark magic. Although, I know for a fact that there are other Crystals out there and I'm not talking about Darkeye and his children. He had some uncles and aunts..." Lasher's eyes widened. "And a brother, I remember that now, I only met him once, now that was a sinister looking pony. Has a lot of cuts around his body, blue coat, black mane, scars on his left eye after being attacked by I Hellhound I guess. Never caught his name". He looked at Kalus. "That is all I know about Rave". 

 

Dark Horn entered the living quarters. "You still here? You know that you are not welcome here. This place belongs to the Crystal family. We don't like outsiders". Dark Horn smiled. "I hope you haven't forgotten that not only Crystals live here but also their supporters. I'm a 'supporter'. You've always amused me.... Scar". Scar stepped closer to Dark Horn. "I should drain your blood and feed from your magical energies". "You wouldn't want to mess with Rave would you?". Scar did not flinch. "Rave is dead, no matter if he is some kind of a spirit or something, he is still dead and I'm the head of the Crystal family now". "Until Dark Sun comes of age" Dark Horn reminded him. Scar did not like that and returned to his own room. Dark Horn chuckled and went to his room.

Kalus stood motionless for a minute, both lost in thought and casting a spell. His trance was broken with a large flash of light from his horn. "Found him. A stable that was designed to hold his family, the crystal Stable it was called. I don't think it had a number, and if it did I can't see it. Thank you Lasher. This helped me a lot. Saved me about 3 weeks worth of scanning." Kalus teleported some distance away and then started his journey to Ponyville.

 

Cryssi: "Well we best get back to everyone else. I'll go ahead, catch up when you want to."

 

It was only a short ride on Zac before cryssi was back with Elegron and the group. "Hey everyone. Negotiations went well. I don't think we will be seeing Kalus again for a long time." She approached the new enclave mare, "I don't think I introduced myself before. The name is Cryssi, and this Scorpion is called Zac. Please to meet you."

Cryssi saw that Elegron was sitting down away from the group, looking at the ground as if something were bothering him. Dash was nowhere to be seen. Elegron didn't say anything as he turned around for only a second to look at cryssi before going back to moping.

Darkeye had sent a letter to Blooddrop, telling her of the zebra betrayal. It contained a report from Flamer carried by Windroarer. 

 

Flamer and his troops had been waiting, making sure that no zebra would escape from the town before the reinforcements could come. He saw a large group of ponies coming his way. They carried the mark of WPS. He smiled and Giggler started giggling. "Alright, it is time to move in. We just received more heavier weapons. We start with the flame barrel bomb, that should set their houses on fire and confuse them. After that, we will move in and kill everything striped in our path or that which doesn't bare the mark of WPS. We've done this before, we will do it again. Fire is in us". Giggler started to laugh mad. "Telegraph? Cut of any communications. I don't want anything coming from Glyphmark, nor do I want anything reaching them. They don't get out any messages and they don't receive any messages. Guess they will be missing Rattlesnake's latest report". Telegraph nodded and began immediately. "Done". The attack began

"Hey. What's up?" With one quick look around, the sudden realisation of what he was sad about hit her. "Oh. Forget I asked. I understand that this must be hard for you. I don't even know how to comfort a pony in this kind of situation. Things like this are unheard of where I grew up. WPS is always keeping a strict watch on everything that falls under their banner. But as long as you stay in the law, it's like living in the old world, but a bit better. Of course, break laws and, well things that happened to me happen. I'm off topic now." She sat down next to him and started to cuddle him, trying to comfort in the only way she knows how.

He didn't resist. "Thanks. there's something we need to talk about. But later. I've had a hard day"

Strawberry lemonade was sitting on the other side of elegron, helping to comfort him.

Greenleaves walked up to cryssi "hey, umm.. Sorry if I'm interrupting anything, but where's lasher?"

 

 

 

 

The zebras had a plan. They continued walking, pretending not to know that the white poison was after them.

Windroarer was watching them. "They really think we are stupid? They have never been in a battle. That will teach them" he gave a signal to Flamer. The town was already at blaze and the Justicars had killed dozens of ponies that had not managed to leave the town. 

 

Ahead of the walking zebras stood a group of Justicars, they were lead by Giggler. The other Justicar teams were moving in to surround the zebras. Flamer watched with delight through a binocular. "I am sure to get a promotion after this. I hope I don't have to use our little secret weapon, otherwise I won't look as much as a hero". Giggler had a Red Glare. He fired a cluster of rockets into the midst of the zebras, slaying a few. He laughed madly as he enjoyed the slaughter.

"Lasher is back that way somewhere. He is trailing behind, he should be here soon. I think. I don't know with that guy. He's weird, and that's coming from a girl who's best friends with and talks to animals. No offence to you Zac." She lit up one more role of herbs and started to smoke again. "I take back what I said. I really need to start smoking less."

Kalus arrived back in ponyville and made his way over to Darkeye's home. He knocked on his door to try and get his attention. "Darkeye. I have returned with information concerning the location that your son was taken to."

Narrowly being stung after a second attempt. I finally managed to wrestle the scorpion down, it used its agility to escape my hold after moment. It held still for a moment, both of us taking a breath staring each other down. "I wish I hadn't stayed in a peaceful area for so long, I feel way too out of shape for a fight like this," I muttered under my breath. The albino charged me a second later, I instantly jumped to it's tail holding on like I was riding a bull. I used the jerky movements to my advantage pinning it as I finally crushed it to the ground. It gave in, no longer fighting my hold. I let go slowly, "There you go boy, nice and easy." It struck gave again scarring me in the jaw line with one of it's claws, but I moved back before it could poison me with it's stinger. I finally gave it my all and held it in a hold when it finally gave up before I could break its tail. I was taught basic sign language, so I barely registered it but I was slowly catching on. 'I give up, you have earned my loyalty.' I let go. "You gave it a good shot, I respect your ferociousness in combat. As my scorpion, you will be called Rex." It gave a me a stare that suggested a deeper intelligence than anypony would expect. 'May we begin our journey together as scorpion and rider.' We proceeded to meet with Blooddrop one last time before I headed back. This time, I was riding Rex.

Most of the zebras turned invisible, and half of them charged gigglers team, taking down soldiers with fallen Caesar style, while the rest ran off, hidden by the stealth field. They split up, all going different directions away from the enemies.

 

 

Elegron laughed at cryssis comment. "I don't smoke because it damages your lungs over time. And I plan on living at least another 45 years before any organs start to give out" he said, smiling. He hugged cryssi and strawberry lemonade "I'm glad I have you guys. We make a good team"

I gave Elegron a subtle nudge touching the back of his neck focusing with my energy. I entered his head, "You miss me? You were having such a good moment. I simply had to remind you you were not alone! Maybe you should get a room somewhere, might be more effective yes?" Laughing in his head. I didn't care if he kicked me out again, I just wanted to bother him. "Hah, I don't miss being alive when I could bother you all day like this huh?"

Blooddrop: "Well look at this. Looks like someone didn't die while learning. You got a good one here Rain, tough and smart. One in a million. And he even have you a scar to make his own mark. Everyone who rides has a scar somewhere. We all get hurt the first time. And hopefully their never has to be a second time like I had to. RIP Archie. Anyway, congratulations Rain. You are now a rider. Come inside my home, let's have a drink."

Cryssi: "Yes we do. You managed to gather a great team during your time. Seems like you are a born leader, ponies just seem to flock to you in times of need. Myself included. If you hadn't found me when you did. I would most likely be dead right now. Never did say thanks for saving my life." She leaned over and gave Elegron a kiss on his cheek. "Thanks."

Once again Leone restrained herself from pummeling Lasher into the ground as the insults began to increase in personal values, he had truth about what the enclave was, but what really ticked her off was the accusation of her being some imbecile. Of course she knew what the enclave was and what they did to ponies like lasher, but quite frankly she didn't care because of how bitter and selfish he sounded she didn't feel sympathy for him. "Typical type of response from a insolent brute." She remarked as he finished speaking.

 

Leone watched as new ponies came out of the woodwork, talkin to lasher and elegron about something urgent sounding, she felt invisible amidst the party as none really addressed or even took notice to her. It didn't exactly bother her because it kept lasher quiet about his opinion on the enclave, hell if he could hear what they have been developing in terms of water purification modules for small towns he would have a different view on them, they were doing good work, it just took good ponies in the enclave to sneak them into the populous.

"I hope you guys have someplace to hide out." She said almost too grimly to the group, her helmet's lifeless yellow eyes adding to the suspense.

Elegron smiled "I'm just doin' my job. Anyway, I'm feeling a lot better now, I've learned to get over things quickly. If I hadn't, I would have been an emotional wreck years ago" he laughed.

Elegron looked at leone "what? Well not really. I've left stable city behind for this adventure.ill go back of course, just not yet. I thought it would be fun" Elegron said smiling. It occurred to him just how stupid he sounded. "And of course stop ponies from shooting others just because they used to be in the enclave... Oh wait... That was one of us.. Well anyway, sorry about that. He can be a bit quick to act sometimes"

 

 

Elegron felt jack derping around in his head. "Oh, you want to watch? Well I can't really stop you. In fact...." Elegron mentally assaulted jack with very "revealing" images of twilight sparkle. "There. Now can you leave me alone? And don't ask where I saw those. I got in trouble a lot in stable 42"
