"I see screaming ponies being tortured and killed, sometimes just for sport. They don't deserve it. Have you seen the lifestyle of some of the raiders? I've seen things that I never wish o had in only a few weeks of living on the surface. Many ponies aren't fortunate enough to be able to defend themselves. Think about it, if you were beaten, and sold to another master who would beat you more, then force you to work for them, would you like that? It's horrible. I know because I've been there before. I've experienced what these slaves go through firsthand. I was captured on my first night outside, and barely escaped alive. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemies. Nopony deserves that. Especially those who have done nothing wrong. That is why I fight to make the world a better place. Because even if I can only save a handful of ponies, it's that many ponies who at the very least get a break from the suffering. That alone is huge. With stable city I hope to be able to keep these ponies safe, and to change lives."

"I can head to Tenpony Tower. I hear that is where you like to go on occasion. We can discuss later when we meet." With that I took a little detour, and left my other belongings in a cave. It's amazing what you can put away and find later. I packed the essentials and left for the tower. "It is almost like a vacation right? Maybe, maybe not?" With nothing really else to do. I just went my own way.

"alright, ill meet you there. and of course tell the guards not to kill you on sight."

elegron changed the broadcast channel to tenpony "homage, jack is coming to the tower, can you tell the guards not to kill him? im giving him a second chance."

"oh of course elegron, ill let them know immediately."

"but make sure hes searched beforehand. poisons, bombs, anything of that nature i want taken from him, and dont return them unless i give the ok. i would rather he not take his weapons inside also."

"alright, consider it done"

elegron turned to dash after switching off the broadcaster "this is taking forever, when is this stupid door going to open? im getting bored."

"Look you have frisked me twice already, If I had something, you would have found it," I said annoyed. "All we have is your gun, knife, and medical gear. I am SURE you have other things", said a guard briskly. "Do I look like a feral ghoul to you? I have nothing else, now let me be." Oh why did I even think of this? I should trick him into killing himself but i won't for Elegron's sake.

"When will he arrive?" I asked. "Soon, so sit and shut up", said another guard. "Fine..."

Elegron turned on his broadcaster and set the channel to talk to jack. "Sorry about this jack, but I'm with dash trying to get into someplace and it's taking forever. Don't know how long it will be. Hey, guards, I know your there, let jack borrow one of the rooms here at tenpony, just for the night."

The guard glared at jack before going behind a counter and retrieving a key he sighed "while your with Elegron, the food and spa are free." He didn't look too happy about letting the pony in.

Once the door shut, I relaxed a little, It wasn't that bad, It was better than sleeping outside, but still. If i could just kill one guard, I would manage better. I thought of Rave, at least he was in a better place right? I'm only here for the night i reasoned, might as well enjoy the spa while i can.

Rattlesnake's voice could be heard on the radio. "I am here to talk about how bad the Stabledweller and the Iron Warriors are. I heard that the stupid stabledweller also came to fight against the slavers. You know what, thank you for letting the ghouls take over our lands. That is right, the ghouls have broken down the Stoneville defenses and are now swarming the lands. Their numbers are growing and eyewitnesses have spotted ghoulish Hellhounds. Without Rave's slavers, our defenses are now gone. Go to hell Stabledweller and rot there. Now, Lena here has an announcement to make". "Why thank you. Yes, the Iron Warriors are a concern, so I will not allow any trade with them. All trade is forbidden, they can starve for all I care. They broke the laws of the Ponyville area. I'm also raising the caps for the stabledwellers head. 50.000 alive and captured, 75.000 dead, with his head of course. Also there is another pony here I have that will talk". Pushing could heard and a rasp voice started to talk. "This is Rave Crystal, I am alive. The Iron Warriors are a big threat to this great community. Do not worry, they will be dealt with. As will Tenpony. My power is not broken. While I still live, Tenpony will never be safe. My threat still stands. "Three little birds can do a lot of damage". You will hear my reply soon Tenpony" the broadcast was cut there. 

 

Lena was beating Rave up. "You were not supposed to talk about Tenpony you bastard" she knocked a tooth from him and then left him. He regrew his tooth with dark magic, but instead of a regular tooth a fang came instead. "Damn, if only dark magic wouldn't deform me". 

 

At Tenpony a pony who had lived there for 15 years was sobbing as he entered the Tavern. "For Rave Crystal". He pulled the string and exploded. 38 ponies died and many were injured. Another pony went near the gate, that pony looked like he was very happy doing what he was doing. "Death to Pon3" he pulled the string and exploded, killing 8 guards and 4 civilians and injuring a lot more. The third and last pony looked sad. He was in a restaurant inside Tenpony. "Rave will never die" he exploded, killing 47 and injuring the rest. Rave would never leave Tenpony alone.

EDNA was done with Lasher. At least he would now be able to talk again, but his wounds would need a few hours to fully regenerate. "Done. I think Blooddrop will like this."

 

Blooddrop: "Nicely done EDNA. I'll move him to the torture room. He should wake up tomorrow." Blooddrop strung Lasher up against the wall and left him their over night. She went to Wade's room and went to sleep, still crying over what Elegron had said a few hours ago.

Scalper was walking in circles in Lena's room. "Can't we just kill that phsyco and be done with it? Why is he still alive, you know he can not be controlled". "Because he is still useful. He strikes fear into other ponies hearts. By using him, we can keep the populace in check. Next time I will have Rave openly resigning as the leader of the Slavers and you will take his place. I will have Rattlesnake air his resignation". "And if he doesn't?" Scalper asked coldly. "Then I guess his usefulness will have run out" Lena smiled.

 

Darkeye watched the entrence to the Smiles HQ in the Ponyville area. "It is good to hear he is still kicking. I wonder where Lasher is. Father was always fond of him. They were like brothers, or at least that is what Lasher felt" Darkeye wondered to himself. Darkeye presumed to eat some kind of strange meat.

Homage turned on the broadcaster "due to several terrorist attacks on tenpony tower, we will be going into lockdown. The doors are closeing, and you need to already be a tenpony resident to enter the building. Fortunately pre war technology has given us dna scanning. Nopony will be allowed in without being searched, no exceptions. This means searched at the gates. Nopony enters beforehand. This is dj pon-3 telling you that rave is a dirty coward"

A shake rocked the tower and guards were scrambling. Of all days to do this, I could have waited until Rave did his bombings. He did tell me after all like a week prior before the battle. Despite arguing at first, I was the only qualified medical personnel present and no one could argue I wasn't needed. I could see death threats in their eyes but they had no choice but to trust me. I reluctantly set up a mini clinic on the higher floors operating where I could and easing the passing of death for other ponies that were beyond help. Some guards even genuinely thanked me. "You don't have to care you know. I thought the wasteland purged you of these weak, pitiful feelings for others," said a inner voice. Fighting my urge to kill them was the strangest thing I had ever done. "Soon you'll be boring again if you keep this up! Leave, go back to Rave and destroy this pitiful place!"

 

*Two hours later*

 

"You can still kill them Jack, It is who you are. Remember what I taught you. REMEMBER!" I flinched at this new voice in my head, one of the guards walked over to me, the same one who gave me grief over not having any more contraband. "You ok jack?", he asked concerned. "Yeah, I am...fine", I said suddenly anxious. "If you need anything, just ask. You did a good deed helping us out earlier. Let me know if any problems arise ok?", he said reassuringly. "I just need to go for a walk.", I said and left the tower.

Dash says, "Dad's access codes should have worked." She sees the denied override code required. Dash imputs the main General overide code. Dash watches as the council approves the overide code. Opening the door. She steps in and over to the main council hub for the station. [science. 100/100] She uses the overide code to add herself to the system. She then runs a status check on the tower emmiter and looks up the blue prints of the control system. "What?!...A transceiver helmet is needed for the signal to work. Oh well, i can fix that. Ok now to download and secure the system." She also finds out the defense grid is functional and awaiting approval for activation. She adds Elegron and his team to the authorized user list and then activates the grid.

 

"There we can now use this place as a base of operations. We also have access to an armory. Battlesadles and power armors are in stock. Oh!...Nice the new energy rifle. Good, we can stovk up on ammo and supplies here."

He examined the room "so where's our room? I haven't had much sleep aside from being dead for a few hours" he laughed at that, still not quite sure how he pulled that off.

Rave's voice could be heard on the radio. "This is Rave Crystal speaking, I will be resigning as the leader of the slavers in the Ponyville area. I will be handing out leadership to Scalper who will be taking care of things now. I wish him the best of luck and death. Rattlesnake has some news to report". "Thank you very much. The ghoul horde has pushed all the way to Rave's old base and made it their own. Several towns have been destroyed and inhabitants have most likely been killed. To all the other towns in the Ponyville area, I advice you to barricade yourselves or get out while you can. This has been Rattlesnake, bringing the true news to you". 

 

"Thank you very much, you have done everything I require from you". Rave knew what that meant. "Then get on with it, I am sick of waiting". "Oh dear, I am afraid I won't be doing that. You see I promised Scalper that he could have you. He wanted to take care of you personally". "You bastard". 

 

Darkeye was furious. "There is no way that he would resign like that. He must have been forced to. The Smiles are no longer allies" Darkeye started to rally his ponies together.

Walking out a bit from the tower, the increased security only made him wander more. He thought back to his old mentor, saying, "I will be back one day when you are ready to receive me." He knew she existed somewhere, If he thought he was evil then, she was the harbinger of death. No one knew her intentions then, no one could even guess what she was up to until it was too late. "Yes, Yes, Find her, then together you can cause havoc and mayhem to all inhabitants of this pitiful place." He only walked faster trying to drive the voices from his head. He noticed a pony minding her own business scavenging from a car. "Perfect, get her and feast, you haven't fed all afternoon." His own will power caving in, he spotted a dead raider on the ground from the earlier battle and fired his rifle. The first hit her back hooves, and she instantly reacted firing back, he took cover, waiting until the pony had to reload and finished the rest of the clip killing the pony. "Yes, Yes, murder feels good yes? You should use your new found trust with the tower ponies to kill them all." Feeling better for the moment, he realized he would new a new habit if he were to stay on this new path. Fast. Discarding the rifle, he headed back to the tower.

 

 

Watching from a distance, she smiled. She knew he wouldn't be able to hold himself back for long. Besides, It was about time she met her former pupil. "Soon, very soon." she laughed. After watching him silently for so many years, she had so much to catch up on. Putting her cloak back on over her head, she went her way once more.

(Time jump. Current time is 6:26am)

 

Blooddrop had an uneasy sleep, plagued by nightmares and general bad sleep. She was exhausted and stressed. And the one thing she wants, she cannot get. "Curse this Bastard wasteland. One day your a queen and the next the world is turning against you. Taking everything you hold close. Well at least I still have my gang." She smiled remembering that last point. She did have the most power gang in the wastes wrapped around her hoof, almost limitless influence with every other gang that was in the world. Power is lovely. And she had a plan to use this power correctly. She loaded up the bunkers transmitter and got in contact with her Gang back in the badlands.

 

"Slasher. Can you hear me?"

 

Slasher: "Loud and clear Blood Queen. What can we do for you?"

 

Blooddrop: "Relay this signal through the transmitter we built. I have a message for the wastes."

 

Slasher: "Yes Blood Queen."

 

Slasher and the tech guys in the badlands relayed the signal from the bunker through their transmitter. Overtaking all radio freque temporarily.

 

Blooddrop: "Lend me your ears Wasteland. I am the Blood Queen. The only voice in this world who speaks the truth of the world today. Their are a few people who I want to listen to this broadcast, so if you know them and they are not listening, make them listen. I'm calling out; Dj-Pon3, Elegron the Light bringer, High Elder Platinum Sword and Elder Iron Mane. Some of you think yourselves as different as night and Day. When you all have one thing in common. Your life choices. Dj: You hold on to your little Pre-War tower as a lifeline to the wastes, or is it only ponies who can either afford it, or have earned it. You represent the spirit of Capitalism, an old world was of life that places deeds of the self over deeds of the community, and shuns any that do not meet your standards. You will be bled. Platinum Sword: You hold onto all that old pre-war tech of yours, hoarding it all for yourselves, never once thinking about doing what is best for the world. You will be bled. Iron Mane: Youtskirts have to be the biggest fool I have ever seen. You let your brash nature and impatient lead an army of diseased Ghouls into the ponyville area. A now declared dead zone. You will be bled for your arrogance. And finally Elegron the light bringer: You came out of your Stable with your thoughts set on changing the world. A world plagued by murder, and you tried to change it with more murder. Fight fire with fire I guess. You are more like the ponies you are killing than you think. You kill indiscriminatly, murder any who get in your way and butcher all who do not think the way you do. If you did not have the Light bringer title stuck to your name, I'd have taken you for a Raider With that description. You may have a chance to live. To see through the coming storm. If you support any of these ponies, open your eyes. The old world is gone and dead. It is the reason the Wasteland is what it is today. We have to learn from our mistakes and move on. Into a new world. With new ways of life. This world will be ushered in by myself and the White Poison. If you wish to live to see the new year. Join us, and be granted a front row seat to see the remnants of an old, broken world be washed away in a river of blood, and lavish in the luxuries of a better tomorrow. Make the right choice. Or pay the price of arrogance." The radio went dead. The message was out, if anyone had a brain, they would surrender. Non can stop what is to come.

Rave was being dragged by new slavers under Scalpers command. They had marched from the Smiles HQ in the Ponyville area and into Scalpers camp. Rave had faced torture and his torturer was non other than Scalper. The left part of Rave's face was burned and he had scars running all over. Now they were dragging him to an old well. "This has been fun, but now it is time to end this. Good bye Rave". As the ponies readied Rave, gunfire was heard. "What the f--" a large Earth-Pony with black eyes appeared in front of Scalper and pounded him in the face, knocking him down the well. The slavers let Rave fall to the ground as they readied themselves, but Darkeye closed the distance between them and took them out with his hooves. Rave was picked up by Darkeye. "You haven't finished your job, can't let you die until you have can I now?". Rave only smiled. Even though he had lost most of his power, he was still himself. He had the override code to an old Enclave ground base near the Vanhoover territory and above all else, he still had Project Hellfire.

Elegron turned on his broadcaster "blood drop, you don't get it. I kill ponies who have done great evil. I only kill ponies who attack me, or ponies like rave. Rave is truly evil, and wade had attacked me. As it is I'm sure wade has done some less than kind things to ponies, but spared him. I could have ended it right then and there. But I didnt. I spared jack, and many ponies who had attacked me. I do what I do to make a difference. To help other ponies who need it. I'm not asking you to help, I am asking you why. Why would you kill innocent ponies? They have done nothing to you. Blood drop, several weeks ago we met, and you did not kill me. I don't ever want us to fight, the only reason I fought wade was because he was not himself. Something was controlling him. I would even be willing to help purge the dark magic if you want. I just want peace in this wasteland, as much as there can be. And I will never stop until I have done so. Wade killed me. He and jack both did. And yet here I am today, still trying my hardest to aid those in need. I know I have killed many ponies, but I have never enjoyed it. I have killed other ponies who would have otherwise slaughtered countless others. I cannot end all war, but that doesn't mean I won't do my best."

Blooddrop changer her settings to send her signal to only Elegron.

 

"Listen close Stable Dweller. You want to change the world. You think the way forward, is backwards. Back to what the old world use to be like. Back to civilisation correct? Well look around you, wherever you are in this world. Stop and remember what cause all this destruction and death in the world that you try to rectify. Your trying to bring back the very thing that killed the world. The ways of the Celestial era are over. And if you bring them back, histroy will just repeat itself. Over and over again. Until the world is bled dry. Progress is the way forward. And progress means out with the old and in with the new. And if you don't change your ways soon. You will be joining the rest of there ignorant fools, buried and forgotten. Lost to time. For what can you do, to stop me?"

Rave looked into the campfire with his one eye. "So. I take it we will no longer be receiving support from the Smiles". Rave did not answer. He was busy thinking of Project Hellfire. He could not stop thinking. He had never been as determined as he was now. Darkeye started eating and moved a plate to Rave. "You know that I am not a cannibal". "Suit your self". "I thought your father had raised you better". "My father was nearly never there for me. He was always busy with stuff". Rave sighed, "I'm sorry, I--". "Don't, whatever you are about to say, don't. I don't want to hear it, I don't care. I have moved on". Rave looked at him for a moment and then nodded. He looked deep into the fire, he could see ponies burning, buildings burning the land burning. He would see the world burn.

"Bloodrop I don't want to fight you. We share a common enemy in rave. I fear he is still alive. We should deal with him first. Now you said I want to bring back the old ways, but that's not true. I know things will never be the same, and I don't want them to be. But we should not be doomed to everlasting strife. You know this. Tell me bloodrop, what happened to silvermind."

"I think there is a bed in the next room. The security office." Dash continues to man the council and seals the door after the sky chariot and the others are inside.
