He also programmed the security robots to attack us. It is unclear to me why he is doing this, all that I know is that I am going to skin the wretch and feed him to my son". Darkeye looked happy about that. Rave jumped from the cover and started firing at the turrets, his Novasurge rifle taking out one and damaging another.

"Tenpony tower. A beacon of hope and civilisations in this world. Highest security outside of the Brotherhood of steel. Not once has a Raider stepped within its gates." He looked down at the corpses of the two guard ponies. "Today is a first."

 

He stood before the large iron doors to Tenpony tower, now sealed and under lock down. He did not even try and force an entry. He just kept tapping the door with his sword.

 

Guard: "You come through this door and we'll tear you apart with led and energy weapons."

 

Wade: "Get me the stable dweller. And I shall leave in in peace."

 

Guard: "Fuck off. We don't make deals with psychopaths."

Homage set up a private link to Elegron's Pip buck, and called him with urgency.

 

"Elegron, this is Homage. Tenpony tower is under attack by a psychopathic Cyborg Raider with way too much magical power. We can't stop him for long. We need help." A large explosion could be heard and then the Radio drops to silence.

"Damnit rave we don't have time for this" he saw a strange looking gun on the corpse of one of raves soldiers and dove for it, firing it at one of the turrets. An electromagnetic pulse blasted from the barrel and put the turret out of commission "follow me, we have a tower to save, then we kill jack" Elegron hopped on the sky chariot, and motioned for rave to get in with him, firing EMPs at the turrets, destroying one just before it open fired

Rave jumped onto the cart and called to his son. "You lead the others from here on. You can either pursue the little traitor or you can hole somewhere up until I return". Rave then turned his head towards Elegron. "Pff, Tenpony, what worth is that. Why shouldn't I let it be destroyed?".

He left a note on the chariot, "Soon, Elegron soon." With that the base exploded. Chunks of debris flew everywhere with scattered fires and a moderate radiation presence now exists within the area of the former enclave base. The blast could be seen for miles giving myself minor blindness for a second. Not even the chariot was safe. Debris large and small pelted the area like hail the size of golf balls. Elegron left and I continued until they were completely out of sight. "Thanks Wade, I do owe you my life." It wouldn't be long now until I reached her fortress, besides, even if I failed, the show had to count for something. Finally turning off the stealth buck.

"Because there are hundreds of ponies living there. It doesn't matter that some are arrogant, it's fair to say that both of us are in our own rights. Besides, I think wade is there. If we kill him, bloodrop will be an absolute mess" Elegron started up the sky chariot and head towards tenpony tower.

Darkeye was sniffing the ground, looking for Jack. The other ponies were quite unsure about Darkeye sniffing, however, they did not question him as they already knew he was crazy. He looked up, his face all dark. "The Badlands. The place where the weaklings hide, the raiders. I haven't eaten a scorpion in.... 3 days at least". 

 

Rattlesnakes voice could be heard on the radio. "Hello there folks, this is Rattlesnake. I've got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that, soon I won't have any listener from the Ponyville area as the ghouls have taken out more than 2/3 of all of its towns and their numbers keep growing for some reason. These times are horrible. Well the good news is that I have received a report that Tenpony is under attack. I know that I speak for all of us when I say, whoever is attacking, good luck and hopefully you will teach DJ-Fraud3 a lesson or two. This has been Rattlesnake, bringing the true news to you".

His magic had left its mark. a low but thick layer of black smoke seeped out of vents and covered the floors, and the signature Black, Green and purple colours of dark magic, visible on both corpses and walls alike, Homage had managed to slip away in all the confusion. The generators had been damaged and the lights were out. It was almost impossible to see inside the building to those without some form of dark magic. Or a light Source "Soon. Patience is a virtue."

Wade heard the hoof steps approaching an knew it was Elegron. After last time, Wade picked up a new trick. A warding spell that shall make all electrical and energy based attacks useless against him for about 30 minutes. "Try and EMP me now." His whispered to himself as he hid high on the Dark ceiling, wwatching his EFS for Elegron. Not even a stealth buck will get you past me.

He saw wades red mark on his efs (by this point both are trying to sneak up on wag other, not knowing the other one knows exactly where they are) he tossed half a dozen frag grenades into the room and dove backwards, readying his revolver with armor piercing rounds.

Dash followed when they got near tenpony tower she primed her battlesaddle and got ready for a big fight. She then activates a stealthbuck and keeps watch. "Elegron dear, why would he attack one of the most heavily protected places in all the wastes? I think he is after you and I will kill him if he is. Also Rave, do you know a pony named Dark Horn? He was part of the red eye slavers."

Wade moved quickly to avoid the grenades. Elegron was clearly using his own EFS. Wade's EFS detected 3 life forms, and he knew who twould of them were, but not the third. "Elegron, so nice of you to join me. And I see you brought your mare along with you. How nice. More for me to kill. We have a score to settle after that stunt you pulled a few days ago. Like what I did to the place? Oh that's right. You can't see more than two hooves in fort of you. How sad. *chaotic laugh*. I can see you, and all you have is an EFS. See if that will help you soon."

 

Wade set up a magical barrier that separated Elegron from the rest of his team. Even powerful Dark magic will find it hard to break it. "One way out now. Someone dies today. And I have my eyes on my target." He wanted Elegron to think he was trying to kill him. But in fact his true target was his mare Dash. Emotional damage is more painful and long lasting than physical. "Find me if you can." Wade dropped from his location and moved to another floor, playing a game of Cat and Mouse with Elegron.

Elegrons horn glowed brightly, and the room was illuminated. Elegron just saw wade go to the next floor, and teleported out of the ring of fire. He galloped towards wade, and fired 3 armor piercing rounds from his .44 magnum. "You won't escape this time. I shouldn't have spared you. I could've killed you but I didn't. Now I'm going to finish the job"

Rave looked to Dash. "Hmm, I could perform a spell that will summon dark crystals that will drain all magic, trouble is that it would also drain mine. Temporarily". Rave try to think of something else. "I'll probably use it as a last resource effort, wouldn't want myself drained of all magic now would we?".

Wade ran round a corner to get out of the way of his shots, and while out of his sight, and done a short distance teleportation spell behind Elegron, and doing a shallow slice with his physical sword before teleporting away in a new direction. "You have a lot to learn. You can't defeat me now. You should have killed me when you had the chance. Nice trick. Coming back from the dead. Bet you can't do that twice."

Dash says, "Do what you need to. The weapons aren't magic their energy. Besides I have a few new tricks I picked up."

 

Dash moves to a new location, bring the mana shield mod of her armor online. She knew Elegron can't handle a one on one so she thinks. Useing her left cannon and thermal/mana fiels vision, she tries locating wade and his mana field. Once found she aims the cannon to open a path for her and Rave to join the fight. [Magical Energy weapons 100/80 Battlesaddles 35/35 target tracking mod.]

Giving Slasher the copy of the data, "Here, in this you will find his eventual plans for the future. Use it however you wish." Opening his radio so everyone could hear,"I haven't lived long but I have seen much for a single life time and then some. Most of you may hate me, but remember, you can take the pony out of the wasteland but you can't take the wasteland out of the pony. Especially you Elegron." Ending his transmission, He dropped three frag grenades, who he killed didn't matter, all that mattered was his message was heard.

Elegron had seen it coming. He blocked the sword with a telekinetic field before counterattacking with his revolver. He slipped into sats, and fired the last 3 rounds before reloading. He threw up his ward, this one much more powerful than the last.

'He's quite quick. I need to be faster. That EFS is annoying buy easy to avoid.' Wade cast a spell which by using the dark magic on the area is able clone is life signature, making several moving red dots appear on Elegron's EFS. 'That should confuse him.' Wade himself was moving around the building waiting for the perfect opertunity to strike at either Dash or Elegron.

"Bah, now he's using cloning. I can feel it, we better try and help". Rave began focusing on the shield, slowly picking at it with his own magic. "This is a powerful shield, but if he thinks it is impregnable than he doesn't even have the rights to use dark magic. Every magic be it normal or dark has a back door, a weakness". Rave began channeling dark energies through himself and he summoned a few dark crystals, that began pushing at the shield, trying to break into it. "Time to test its strength". He summoned a few more and they began putting pressure on the shield.
