Dashia had made her choice. She would live as a dragon. She goes over to the bats and blooddrop. She looks to blooddrop and says, "If there is any bad blood between us, let it go. As of now I choose my blood over my birth. So...what's the plan for rave? Also, where can I get a good set of power armor? Preferably one crafted for half dragons."

Blooddrop: "No hard feelings between us. You have done nothing against me personally, so I hope we can not be enemies."

 

Storm Fury: "This is our plan. We are short on numbers, so we need to be careful. From what Felkan has reported, Rave split away from the group and in on ministry walk in the building of Arcane science. We can't see inside, and that area is heavily contaminated with Nightmare Gas. Our training will allow us to wonder through the mist for about 10 minutes before the gas starts attacking us. Dashia, your a half blood. You can go in the gas for hours before you start being effected and Grigori is immune. Blooddrop will have to stay behind with Vi and Grigori to guard the main control terminal. We will attack Race directly, no doubt he has set up traps, so we move in from the air. A joint dive bomb attack will be enough to break the rook and get us inside. The terminal he will be after will be in the office of twilight sparkle on the top floor of the building but requires her personal password. It will take a while to decrypt. This shall give us enough time to strike and kill him. One pony without magic and do much to Dragon slayers. Any questions?"

Rave found it, inside the wall. A hall opened up and Rave stepped inside. A massive computer was inside. Rave connected his PipBuck to the computer and ran his override files to access the computer. Then he started to set up the Project. "It will take 15 minutes to set up and then there is the 5 minute countdown". Rave began setting up a curse around the place. "You are not the only one that can play games dragon". The curse would enable his spells again, however, only in that particular area and it would cost him twice as much. "I won't go down without a fight".

[Elegron 168]

Something below Elegron exploded, sending him flying against the wall. "Damnit rave." He activated his ward, drank a health potion, and tossed a few EMP grenades. He dove backwards as they went off, buzzing harmlessly off his ward, and all of the traps went off. Elegron was far enough away that his ward took most of the hit. From what rave could hear, no pony could have survived. Elegron continued up the stairs, raves mark was very close. In the next room even. He teleported in, just behind rave, and swung his dagger straight for his head, hardly missing a beat.

Dashia smirks and asks, "one...where are the magical energy weapons? Namely a novasurge rifle. I am also usually comfortable with a power armor but I left mine in Elegron's sky chariot." Dash waits for the word and shifts her recharger rifle. She shifts back to her Pegasus form and makes some adjustments to the joint in her left leg. She then returns to her draconic form.

 

[needs 2 more adjustments to make the mod act as a single mod and not take up two slots of three.]

Rave grabbed the dagger with telekinetic magic. "You stepping on one trap would hardly set off all of the traps. So the traitor has come. The one that forced me to do this. You know, if you had not broken my trust, used me and Flamestreak and helped me try to defeat Blooddrop to save the Wasteland, I would not have to do this. But you decided to help your petty little Enclaver friend go after some petty revenge. Now that I'm about to destroy the taint of the planet, you suddenly care?". Rave looked at him for a moment. "You disappoint me, you will not stop me, the Wasteland can no longer be saved. You proved it to me". Rave swung Elegron back with magic, putting distance between them. "This is where the fate of the Wasteland gets decided". He brought up his Novasurge rifle and started firing.

They put up a decent fight but, eventually the survivors were killed. "Darkeye, where is your father?", I asked concerned. "I don't know if he sent us away as a distraction, or something, but I must see if he's ok." Hearing distant fighting, I flew back to the mist and walked through. My eye went black and I saw it. I was alone, everyone I cared for was dead. I would have cared less if the whole world blew up, I just couldn't lose my family again. I blinked as I regained my vision. I would need to catch my breath and regain my sanity for a couple minutes so I hid in a nearby building until I could focus again. Hopefully I wasn't too late.

Darkeye walked through the mist. Instead of being trapped in his mind, living his worst nightmares, he could see it with his waking eyes. His black eyes saw it. "No, pillows. You monsters, get away from me". He started running through the mist until he came to where Rain was. He crashed into a wall. He shook his head. "There you are. I left my own ponies to see if you were safe.... not that I have any feelings" his face going red. "Rave will have gone to the Ministry of Arcane Science Hub as that is where the computer is".

Boom! "Huh, oh Darkeye! Welcome to my new home...." Trying to catch my breath, He does care, I knew he was still a pony, not even Rave could culture that aspect from him. I'll make sure he lives today if no one else does. "Good, I heard some fighting, I know he's not perfect but we still must try to save him before its too late!"

Darkeye nodded. "Then lets go. He will have headed to Twilights Office that is up on the top of the Ministry hub. That is where the super computer is". Darkeye pointed with his hoof and ran into the building. He stopped and waited for Rain. "We must hurry, otherwise we might be too late".

Quickly following in pursuit. The lobby was empty for the time being, but celestia willing, It wouldn't be for much longer. I Ran up the stairs with Darkeye, "Hurry, we don't have much time before, he gets surrounded. we should have come with him in the first place. He should have never been out of our sight."

[Elegron 168]

Elegron dodged every attack, teleporting back and forth. "Never fight a pissed off hero" he said before sending a barrage of fire from his horn. He didn't waste any time, using the fire as a diversion, he jumped forward and to the right, kicked off the wall, and sliced raves rifle in half with the hellhound claw. "Oops. I broke your toy."

Rave deflects Elegron's fire attack. "You are a weakling. You need scientific magic to be able to fight. You are a disgrace to magic. Science and magic do not belong together. Science forces magic to work, it twists and bends it, hurts it. Magic is alive. A rifle is a rifle and it can be replaced. And don't mess with a pissed off pony who wants to destroy the Wasteland". Rave started channeling dark magic. All his teeth turned to fangs. He grabs the dagger in a magical grip and turns it to ash. "A tooth for a tooth" he grins. He crashes himself into Elegron for close combat and bites him on his right front hoof with his fangs. He drinks the blood, liking it and starts to laugh maniacally. 

 

Darkeye raced up with Rain beside, they were just outside of Twilight's office. "I can hear more fighting".

[Elegron 168]

Elegron was unwavering. "ive suffered enough, this doesnt bother me anymore." he teleported back, drew another knife. and ran towards rave. The damage from raves bite was minimal due to the barding, and with elegrons magic had already healed. His horn glowed, and he teleported behind rave, and swung his knife at his neck. when rave turned to block it,  the mirage vanished. By the time rave realised what happened, it was too late. elegron fell from the ceiling and sunk his new dagger into raves side.

Dashia thought about her words to Elegron. She decided he would try to face Rave, alone.

 

Dashia says, "you all take care of the others. I am going to face Rave. Blooddrop do take care. Also don't kill what you shouldn't. I still will protect those I care for and my heart says to go."

 

With that and the knowledge of the gas, Dashia heads out. She takes to wing and realizes this form sacrifices her speed for strength.

Looking at the ensuing fight between the two ponies, I knew I had pick a side soon. "Elegron stop. Leave Rave alone." Pointing my weapon at him. "Don't make me do this. Please, we can all leave together, Let this world burn, we can start anew. Let it cleanse this place. It turns everyone in it into monsters. The wasteland needs this. Please." A small teardrop fell from my eye.

She flies as fast as she can, while conserving her strength. She knows that her strength won't be enough so she draws her recharger rifle. When she gets above The roof, the gas not affecting her yet. She puts a ring of 7 holes in the roof near the left side of Twilight's office and then let's gravity and her new strength do their thing. She punches through and almost hits Rave. She however misses Elegron completely.

 

What they see is a half dragon Pegasus with a very light cyan set of scales.

"WHAT??! you actually want this? rain, you know better. you are better than this. you know as well as i do that there is still hope. as it is rave will die. if not now, then it will be soon. you are a good pony rain. i dont want to kill you." Elegron made his choice then and there. he teleported beside the control terminal and destroyed it with his dagger, ensuring it would never go off. "now that thats done. you can attack me, and i will kill you, and i will become even more of a murderer than i already am. or you can realize that this isnt how its supposed to be. You do realize that if you destroy the world, thats it. nothing will be left. NOTHING! is that what you want?" he was starting to cry. "I know this wasteland can be a bitch, but i have friends, i have love. dont you get it? theres still hope. We can unite, and make this world a better place. we can change the hearts of the evil, and rebuild. it doesnt have to be like the old world, but it doesnt have to stay like it is. the bombs fell many many years ago, and it changed everything. whos to say it cant be changed back? rain... I know your still feeling the loss of jack, but that doesnt mean we give up. we keep fighting. no matter what happens" 

After his speach, elegron heard a crash above him. "DASH!" he ran up and hugged her "what happened to you? ugh, we can talk about that later, I hate to say it... but at the same time im glad to... we need to kill rave. to end this. before he kills another pony. after we deal with the problem at hoof, we can have a proper reunion."

Rave uses his magic to draw the dagger out. He pours more dark magic and the wound seals up, however, it doesn't look very healthy. Rave's eyes start to glow green and purple smoke starts to leak out of his eyes. "Just in time". He grabs Dash with his magic. He felt who it was. "Dragonblood? So that is it, doesn't matter". He checks his PipBuck. "Too late, the files managed to start up. The machine has been activated. Only 5 more minutes till everything goes Kaboom and the world will be saved. I doubt you have the scientific skill to stop it. But you know what, since you are going to play judge again and pretend to be the good guy, it is time the Wasteland taught you a lesson. The Wasteland doesn't give, it takes". He pulls Dash to him and summons forth Dark Crystals that start piercing her body everywhere. Not only that, dark magic started to flow and started corrupting the blood, to ensure that the damage would be fatal. "Now comes the choice of choices" he smiled. "Either this world gets cleansed off all its evil with the help of Project Hellfire and you can try to save her. Or you can try to stop the countdown, hidden deep within the machine and let her die. Make your choice". 

[Midnight_Aurora 571]

Dashia lets loose her new gift. As the crystals start to pierce her, They find her scales resilient to them and they start to crumble. "Dragon's thunder!" Nopony knows what she just said but the effect is apparent. The lightning rips through the crystals. Dashia then uses both her hind hooves and her new strength to buck Rave in his chest. She then flies to the console. [science 100/100 Repair 100/100] She fixes and accesses the council to deactivate the sequence and rewrite and lock the console. "Now...If you kill me this console will never work."

[KlutsyDraconequus 120]

"No!" I threw my C4 at the console itself and detonated the bomb before Dash could repair the system, Ruined chucks of the machinery flew everywhere. Most ponies were hit by the blast but dazed for a few seconds. "If I can't have Jack, then no one will be here. The project will launch and we will all be apart of this lands new birth."  

[Elegron 168]

Elegron was thrown against the wall by the force of the C-4. he quickly took advantage of the situation, and thrust his dagger into raves throat, before throwing rain against the wall. "NOW DASH! find the terminal and shut it down, before this whole planet blows up!"

Dash moved to fast for the Bats to give any form of response, but they respected her will. They served Dragons after all. And Dash was part Dragon. They waited a short time for her to return, but got worried at the sound of explosions from the distance. They had to do something. 4 out of the remaining 5 Bat ponies took to the skies above canterlot and positioned themselves above the Ministry of Arcane science and dived into the building causing the ceiling to collapse in several places. Their spears and whips pointed at who ever they saw: Rain, Elegron, Darkeye. All of them considered to be hostile.

 

Storm Fury: "This has gone on long enough. Stand down or face punishment. Dragoness Dahsia, continue what you were doing. Everyone else, weapons down and on the ground. And no magic."

 

Vi: "So Blooddrop, did you think about what I said last night?"

 

Blooddrop: "Is now the best time to be talking about this? We are in the middle of a battle. Yes. I did think about it, and I think it can work. A Spear head with 4 blades for slashing would be quite good for handling multiple foes or for ones with trust resistant armour."

 

Vi: "See! I told you it would work. Make them out of Stubbornite, and you get a never breaking fucking OP weapon."

 

Blooddrop: "Such power. Wow. Much kill. Stabby Stabby. Hack and slash 2.0"

 

Vi and Blooddrop started laughing despite their jokes being incredibly bad, they enjoyed some talk between weapon experts. The laughter led into a hug, a hug to a kiss, and that may lead into something more.

"Elegron, don't do anything rash." Dash heads off for the only place that could stop this. She quickly finds the console and [science 100/100] with a few flicks of her hooves and taps with her wings she disables the bombs and disarms them. She sends a signal back to them to fall appart. "Too easy. Cloud tech was harder then this."

 

She heads back to make sure nopony did anything stupid.

"Fine, you win. Let me and Darkeye go. Let us bury Rave properly, the way Jack should have been. We will never come back to this sun forsaken place again." I looked at Darkeye, "let's retrieve your father's corpse and go. We can lay low until we regain what sanity we have left. This land is toxic. No wonder my brother lost it, never mind myself." I turned to the bat ponies,"All I want is to grief my losses. Can we go in peace." I looked at Darkeye, "Will you come with me?" Visibly breaking down now, I just wanted to hold someone so I wouldn't break myself. My thoughts turned toward home, wherever home was.

"Hey rain, as long as you don't go apeshit on us like that again, you may be able to stay with us." Elegron looked at storm fury, and put away his dagger. "I really hope you'll reconsider your hatred of me. I don't like being threatened every time I walk near canterlot, all because of a misunderstanding. If you recall I didn't kill anypony with my spell, and infact I was trying to stop you guys before rave killed anyone else, and it won't happen again." Elegron looked at the fallen slaver lord. "I just don't want enemies. I mean, you guys clearly aren't evil. I just don't think there's any reason for us to be enemies. Can we put the past behind us?" Elegron extended a good to shake storm fury's, and gave him a friendly smile
