NOTE: Any major/minor spoilers on the story, can you please put up a "Spoiler" tab? Some may haven't finished the game's story yet.

I love this game.

I knew Rockstar Games for the GTA series. Even though I never played GTA, I thought it looked like a bad series, so I steered away from all Rockstar games. Then I tried out Red Dead Redemption, another Rockstar game, and it was a really good game, actually! After that game, I was thinking wrong about the company, so I tried out LA Noire as well. I like those old films where it was murder mystery and everything, so I gave LA Noire a try Via Gamefly, It surpassed my expectations, and doing the story itself is very interesting, and keeps me on my toes. The characters were great too. Especially Cole Phelphs and Rusty Galloway.

Has anypony else tried/played this game? Was it any good to you?

I love the game, I've beaten it 3 times. My only complaint is that there aren't really a lot of things you can do when you mess around. You can't jump or climb, can't shoot up the streets, etc. You can pretty much only do stuff with your car. The rag doll physics are hilarious.

As for the story, I thought it was amazing. I won't spoil any of it, but there are some parts where you just wanna go

(No actuall plot elements spoiled, just my personal reaction)

I get annoyed when I don't get 5 stars on a case after completing them or if I miss a question....

Whats unfortunate for me though is I have a really good memory so when I replay the game I just go "Yeah this is over here, this guys lying, this girl is a b**** but she's telling the truth..."

The game was great, but the ending was classic Rockstar style. That's not a good thing.

please dont tell me the end but i have to say that i loved the end of grand theft auto 4 and i thought that RDR had possibly the best ending to a game ever

LA Noire quickly shot up to one of my favorite games of all time. I love adventure games and this combined an adventure game element with the actionRPG feel, which made delicious cookies.

Dat facial animation.

I played the game last year. One of the best titles of 2011.

People rag on it because it wasn't as open-ended as some might have liked, but it was still very good. Pity we won't be seeing Cole Phelps again... he was a character I empathized with. A flawed man who tried to overcome his flaws.

Interesting. Everybody I know loves the ending; it has that same existential feeling so many Sergio Leone films have. Totally awesome.

It also fits with the over-arching idea of the game.

Haha, I've put in well over 80 hours into that game. I love it!

.. I just wish they would release a sequel already - or more DLC.
