"I'm still kinda new around here, so I was hoping you'd show me around.." She blushed, feeling embarrassed. "How about we go to your favorite place? There must be a place you spend time hanging around, right?" Auria suggested. She wondered if Masun knew how to drive a car, or if he even has one. Surprisingly, Auria had no idea how far or close the city was from them. She wasn't paying attention when she was in her way here, so Auria is quite clueless on where exactly she was. "How close are we from the city, anyway?" She asked Masun.

"I'm not sure, but I can't imagine that there isn't one. Though I think we're a little more than a hour away from Vegas. We are in a secluded military base in Nevada, so things might be a bit dull around here." He added. Charles extended his hand for a shake. "Charles Wallasey Foss." He answered.

Even though Sam was fairly certain that Auria had ment for Masun to answer, she was a tad bored. Pulling out her phone, she did a little reaserch and said, "Among the closer places is Vegas. I've heard that place is no fun unless you're over 21. I am, mind, but I've never personally gone."

Franky flinched the moment Charles's reached his hand towards him, but it seemed he was not trying to hit him. Franky stared at the hand and could not figure out what Charles wanted Franky to do, but he was sure this was a social custom. "Umm, we should get going then... Its a pleasure to meet you Charles." Franky turned around and started walking towards the exit.

Forgot that he's old... but how old do you have to be to not know what a handshake is? Charles thought as he put his hand down and followed him to the exit. Charles ended up passing him and got into the elevator first. He punched in the button for the first floor with the secretary and waited for Franky. "So what is it that you do mate? What's your job and your powers? Explain to me everything Franky related if ya want." He asked.

"Nothing too interesting about me. Lets see here, I have lived for five hundred years, I've been here since the founding of America, and I have read pretty much half of the books in existence. As for my 'power', I'm not too sure. I didn't know I even had powers until recently, and when I did use them it was completely out of my control. All I know is, that it is dangerous. If I am ever in that state, then I suggest you get away from me. How about you? What powers do you have?" Franky explained as he got into the elevator and the doors began to close.

The first place Masun had in mind was the Rabbit's Foot casino that he used to spend all his time at before Felecia approached him and "convinced" him to join Area 51. Hmm, there is no way for me to know exactly how old Auria is, and I doubt Sam wants to spend time at a casino, Masun thought.

"Well, to tell the truth, I only really spent all my time in casinos, so unless you are interested in a good Mojito and some Blackjack, I'm all out of ideas. I don't have a car, though, and I doubt ol' Director Blackmail has cars at the ready to send us out whenever we want. I assume if we want a ride, we would have to schedule it with her or something," Masun said, thinking out loud. "I believe Vegas is about 70 miles away. I could get there on foot in 20 minutes myself, and if I were to fly there it would probably take me longer considering I am not that great at flying, and not that I doubt my strength at all, but I don't know if I could carry two people. So, hopefully you guys have an idea, because I am out of them."

"Yeah, sounds pretty boring. I bet you didn't even bloody meet Lincoln." Charles said sarcastically as the elevator made it's way up. "As for your powers, I think I can keep ya in control if needed... I hope. I have some pretty heavy tranquilizers. It's always a good idea to have those when you're around vampires, ghouls and any other mongrels like the ones downstairs." Charles explained.

"And as for myself. I don't actually have any 'powers' of my own. However I am a good hunter and a expert rifleman. I have good outdoors skills too. However here I mostly hunt people. Usually people like yourself. Besides that I'm a good driver and navigator, I'm well versed on the occult and other powers, and I have the uncanny ability to rub shoulders with the wrong people." He finished as the door dinged open.

"How about we have a little bit of fun? Lets race each other to Vegas to see who gets there first. Whoever loses will have to treat the two winners a drink. How does that sound?" She asked both Masun and Sam. A magician and a wizard. It's possible that I might end up losing since I can't fly. Auria thought to herself.

'Vampires, ghouls and any other mongrels like the ones downstairs'. So the people downstairs were such things... Frank had believed these myths were just that, myths. Now Franky was in a whole new world, and he had to adapt to it if he were to survive.

"Charles, I would like to ask another favor of you. I want you to help me learn to control my power. If you have the ability to stop me, then I think you would be the best person to help me practice." Franky said after he got out of the elevator and turned around.

Charles stepped out of the elevator. "I think I can help you out with that mate. Though I have to ask, is there anything you want to learn first? And what kind of things do you want to do around here? Everyone usually has a tendency for something." He asked as he made his way out of the building and over to his car. Charles pulled his car keys from his pocket and unlocked the the doors. He stepped inside and waited for Franky.

'What I want to do around here, huh?' Franky thought about it for a second before getting into the passenger side of the car. "I want to know more about this new world I didn't know about, and I feel as if it would be best to learn how to defend myself. I've never... been in a fight before recently.. But if you're worried about me contributing, I have a vast variety of knowledge about the standard world." Franky said as he buckled himself in. Franky checked three times to make sure his seat belt was secure, and once satisfied he sat back with a smile on his face.

Charles started the car and backed up and onto the street. He began to drive to the nearest highway and placed his phone up on a holder by the console and pulled up a GPS app. He set it to take them to the nearest bank. "I see. Well there isn't really an introductory class to the supernatural. It's gonna be a pretty broad new world for ya. Is there anything specific you want to know about anythin' mate? Various types of powers, how to combat them or their weaknesses, the bloody A.R.E.A. program in general? etcetera etcetera." He asked.

"Can you teach me how to fight? I think that would be the first thing to learn. I know I'll have more questions about specifics, but until then I think this will do. If there is anything you need of me, I would be happy to oblige." Franky said as he looked out of the window towards the end of his sentence. The desert was looking amazing with the sun heading towards the horizon.

"Well fightin' isn't something' I can teach well while I'm drivin' a car." Charles said with a chuckle as he thought. "However I can give you a few pieces of advice. Fightin' power users is a whole new ball game compared to regular humans. It's always smart to find out what their powers are before going in. Less you wanna get your ass handed to ya." He explained. "With that bein' said, If you know what their powers are beforehand, rushing them can sometimes work if you know what to look out for. When I'm not at a distance with my rifle, overwhelming them quickly or waiting for them to make a bogan's mistake and punishing them for it tends to be my strategy." Charles continued.

She asked both Masun and Sam. A magician and a wizard. It's possible that I might end up losing since I can't fly. Auria thought to herself.

"That would be a tad unfair. I don't really teleport often; kinda bad at it. Further, I suck at running and cars have a start up time." She stretched, "And even if it were fair, I don't drink." She fround at her hand, clenching and opening it a bit. Shaking her head a bit, she adds, "I'm not a very good drunk. Or drinking buddy."

"I think the idea sounds good. But if Sam can't get there, then we would be excluding her, which wouldn't be fair. But then again, we could look at this as a chance for her to try and further develop her powers. If she can't teleport, then she would need to find a different spell to help her out. Well, if we do this, the finish line is the entrance to the Rabbit's Foot Casino." Masun said.

Franky thought about what Charles had just told him. Perhaps he should consider that the people he would fight were not your average street thug that can be fought off with a few punches. Franky then started to think of the things he would buy when he got the chance, and began inventing in his mind. As Franky stared off into space, the car became silent, and the scenery rolled by through the window.

Charles saw Franky stop talking and go into his mind cave so he returned his focus on driving. He took the time to think about various things while he could, but after a while they had arrived in Las Vegas. Charles didn't pay much attention to the scenery and just followed the directions right to the bank. He parked the car and looked over to Franky. "Well, 'ere we are mate. I'll let you take it from here." He said as he unlocked the car doors so he could get out.

"Then we'll start the race five minutes from now. We can decide the starting point later." Auria left the lounge and back into her room to grab a bottle of water and the money she had in her bag which wasn't exactly currency that would be accepted in this part of the world, but the casino should be able to exchange it. She got back out of her room and waited for the others to get ready. "I'm ready!" She waved at Sam and Masun with a smile of excitement.

Franky was pulled out of his trance, and looked out the window. He noticed they were now in front of a bank. Franky opened the door and headed inside of the bank. The security guards immediately went to stop him as soon as he entered.

"Sir, we're going to have to ask you to leave." One of the chubby guards said to him, hands on his belt.

Franky looked at the belt and noticed that his gun was not unclasped. 'If I were to be a real robber I could have shot him in the head before he could free his gun from the holster..' Franky thought for a moment. He looked back up at the guards' faces. "I seem to have been robbed, and I need money to buy clothes. They have taken my wallet and I'd like to get a new credit card. If it is a problem of my appearance, do not be dissuaded. I have a lot of money and would be happy to pay you after this for allowing me to get my money." Franky said as if it were the truth. Franky wanted to get his money and leave as soon as possible.

At the prospect of money, the guards changed their attitude a little. They let him go, however they kept a close eye on him, no doubt so they could verify if Franky truly had money. Franky walked up to the teller and asked to talk to someone to get a new card issued to him. After a short wait, the bank manager came out. The manager had a very nervous look on his face, which was very odd to everyone else in the bank because they all thought Franky to be a homeless man with delusions. However the manager had verified Franky's identity and had taken a look into the amount Franky had in his bank account. He came to sit across from Franky, who was still very calm and comfortable in his chair.

"I have personally prepared your new credit card, Mr. Franky. You will be relieved to know that I have taken the liberty of cancelling your old card, and with this card would you like to have a picture verification stamp on it as well? To prevent identity theft of course." The manager said in a rather timid tone.

"No thank you, I do not believe I will be robbed again. If I am, however, I will immediately call and cancel the card then." Franky then took the card presented to him, and proceeded to turn to leave. However, he remembered his agreement with the guards. He then turned around and spoke once more to the manager, who had looked like he finally managed to relax with Franky's departure. "I'd also like for $500 to be given to the two security guards for being every so understanding with my situation. I'd also like to give them another $90. For a gym membership." Franky nodded his head in agreement to his decision, and then turned once more to head to the exit. With all eyes on Franky, they wondered who he could possibly be. He had been a man they thought to be homeless only a few minutes ago, but he had walked past the guards and sat down as if he owned the place. He then proceeded to have the manager treat him as a king and then insulted the guards on his way out. No one dared ask anything, all they could do is look at his back. Shrouded by mystery, power, and a bed-sheet, Franky opened the door to head outside back to the car.

Charles had the stereo on in Franky's absence, but when he notice him return he turned it off. He opened the passenger seat's door and waited for him to get back in. "So, I take it that went well." He said. "Now onto the clothes situation. I presume ya wanna go to the mall right? That'll probably have the most options." Charles asked.

Franky had a smile on his face, from believing he truly would change those guards' lives with the gym membership. With this their health will be improved, and they'll better be able to accomplish their jobs. With that, Franky turned to Charles and nodded in agreement that the mall would have the best variety. Truthfully, Franky didn't care about the clothes, he wanted an excuse to go into the real world and meet more and more people. As the car followed the path designated on the GPS, Franky built up more excitement the closer they came to the mall.

Once they had arrived at the destination, a large mall was lit up in the waning daylight. Franky waited for Charles to explain what would happen next, since Franky had no idea where he would need to go first.

Charles got out of the car once they arrived. Once he closed the door behind him he turned to Franky. "Alright mate, since I presume you haven't done this yet. Once you get inside find the directions or map sign. On that should be directions to all the stores. Make sure you go to the ones in the bloody men's clothing section too. Besides that, knock yourself out and have a good ole time. I'll likely be in the sporting goods store or the food court myself." He explained before thinking for a few seconds. "Oh yeah, I'll almost forgot." Charles said as he reached into the car and rustled through a bag for a few moments. He pulled out two compact black walkie talkie radios and tossed one over to Franky. "Since you and me are gonna be like two peas in a pod while I train you, we might as well have some communication. Make sure not to lose it, they're really well made and cost me a lot of money. But breaking it shouldn't be a problem. Once you're done shopping, just press the button on the side and talk somewhat close to it and I'll be able to hear you. We'll have to decide on codenames later, but mine has always been Smiley." He said as he closed the door and locked it and started to walk away. "Toodles." He finished with a wave.

Franky walked away from Charles and the car, and headed towards the mall. He walked through one of the entrances, and was instantly repulsed by the hot air filling the open area. There were countless people walking in all sorts of directions. Franky thought this was madness, and quickly wanted to leave. He walked and eventually found a clothing store, which featured many suits and tuxes. He walked in, and eyes were very quickly drawn to him. A cashier walked up to him, and began to speak.

"Sir, you seem lost, is there a way I could perhaps help you find your way?" The man said in a polite, but rather rushed manner. Franky felt that this man did not want to talk to him, and had no interest in helping him but rather was just trying to get him to leave the store as quickly as possible.

"I am in the right place. I am here to buy some clothes."

"Might I recommend a different store? One more in your.... price range."

Franky took out his black credit card and handed it to the man. "Put together ten different suits with ten different looks. I want you, personally, to do it." The man's eyes widened when he saw the black card. The man's behavior immediately changed.

"Let me find something in your price range immediately! Its very hard to find clothes made with good materials, but worry not, here only the best is used to make the best. Please, wait here while I go into the back to find our exclusive suits." The man hurried off, and Franky sat down in a nearby lounge chair. The workers in the store were whispering about something, but Franky paid them no mind. After a time of waiting, Franky left the store in a new outfit. He had a black suit on, with a white shirt underneath. He walked to a nearby ice cream store and bought a small vanilla cone. He walked away while dragging behind him a suitcase which contained his other nine suits. He walked around aimlessly looking for something to do.
