New members avatar?

I just have a suggestion for the Blank Flank avatar on the forums. Now that the Gabby Gums episode came out, we could change the blank flank avatar to the "Anonymous Gabby Gums" photo. That way it makes a reference to the show while still keeping the anonymous feel to the blank flank avatar. Just a suggestion!

Thanks!

Your friend,

Dragonshy

EDIT: Ok here it is, I re-sized it and cut it :)

RE-EDIT: Re-color from Jokuc.

Your back from the dead!

And thanks!

yea, I had to put mlp forums aside for a bit >_>

but yes I am back,

and I concur with this idea, ^_^

I can tell you the current icon for new members is just the regular IP.board new member icon, but with is silhouette of Twilight instead of a person.

It's a very good idea but I kinda like the one we have now better I think.

Maybe this is worse, but I made the edges the same size and non-smooth.

Actually, I kind of like this idea. Not only due to the show reference, but also because of something I noticed upon joining.

The current one, while anonymous, still has a feminine air about it. You'll notice the long eyelashes as part of the silhouette. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But with the number of male bronies, I can imagine there being a few, possibly, who might appreciate something a bit more gender neutral like the Gabby Gums silhouette.

Fix up the border and remove the question mark and it'll be cool.

You mean like this?

The question mark is really part of making the show reference, the borders are better now though. Without the question mark its just like another anonymous avatar, the point is that it's making a reference to the show, since it's a brony community, most people should get the reference.

It might, but I feel it doesn't look like an avatar with it, and feels slightly obtrusive. I get how it is a show reference, but we need to consider aestetics. While if more people like it with the question mark I will concede. But I have my own preference.

Still no update on whether this could happen. I think this just got lost in the gutter so I'm reviving it.

I like the idea, but I'm just not sure about the question mark either. I like it both with, and without. It would be amazing either way, though!

Personally, I think the question mark makes the reference more noticeable. Taking it out just makes the picture look like a rehashed version of the avatar we already use for blank flanks.
