She overheard the conversation and decided since everypony was in on it, she might as well be. "Honestly? I think their cool, I mean they seem be able to fly fast. Maybe even faster than the Wonderbolts. I have heard some bad stuff said about them though, but I bet it's a load of crap. Batponies have families have hearts and souls just like us, so there's no need to go 'round saying anything nasty about them!" Her accent was thickening as she gradually got angry stating this. Chrissie growled, then tried to calm herself down by taking a few deep breaths.

"I agree. Probably nothing but a bunch of hooee. I have met a few myself. It was of course during the night. They were really nice to me. They are really friendly, you just have to have the guts to approach and talk to them. They are really no different than a 'normal' pony... if that even exists".

Diego laughed. "I'd consider it an insult if somepony called me 'normal'," he said. "I think it's boring to be 'normal' so I'd rather be thought of as crazy and weird. Also, there's nothing to be scared about batponies. The ones I've met are cool. They are ponies after all."

"Yup. Far as I can see, normal's just a thing everypony claims they are. But it is a lie, nopony is normal. We all got our flaws that make us seem strange in some way. If that's what your trying to be, then hay, I'd say it's time to start accepting who you are. You aren't normal, but that doesn't mean your not good enough." She smiled, and crossed her hooves.

Rave turned his head back towards Lorcan. "That sounds interesting. Theatre class eh? So you would like to become an actor. Nice. Perhaps you could perform some of Shakesteals art. He was a good poet and a play writer That would be awesome" he smiled. "He was also quite skilled in English".

"Yeah, I wish i could be an actor but thats everypony's dream." Lorcan said as he looked around.
"I kinda want to be the next Edgar Allen Pony." Lorcan sips from his tea and finds it more painful to extend on of his legs. 
"GAh, son of a penguin!" Lorcan blurted out as he tried putting pressure on one hoof.

After sitting silently for some time, looking displeased, Sinu decides to comment on Lorcan's statement. "Edgar Allen Pony had a pretty depressing life, which is obviously reflected in his literature; most would not enjoy that." He says, loud enough to be heard, but quiet enough to be completely disregarded if his statement was irrelevant.

Chrissie smiled at Sinu, glad he was finally opening up. "Though I do understand what you mean, I believe Lorcan's point was he wishes to be remembered like Edger Allen Pony." Chrissie stared down at her empty teacup. "And I do believe that can be achieved. I, myself have a dream to own my own greenhouse someday."

"I understand what you're saying. I would like to be the next Chosŏn'gŭl; the pony that invented Hangul (the Korean alphabet)." Sinu replies; "Although — I'm sure that this would never happen, and I'm perfectly all right with it, because that is only a hobby; I would even more enjoy having the songs that I write, which I put a lot of effort into, become popular."

Rave thought for a while. "Well I want to be.... no you know what, never mind. It is not important. None of you have to hear it". Rave took a sip from his cup and then poured some more tea into his cup. He sighed. Rave wanted to become an explorer and map down what he found. But he also wanted to revive King Sombra and restore his families glory and honor.

"Well whatever happens please choose something that will bring you happiness." Chrissie stared into her teacup and her mind flashed with images of her past.

 

"Mommy, Mommy! Look at me!" Three year old Chrissie was running around the fenced yard. A basked filled with freshly collected chicken eggs swung wildly on her shoulder. Chickens ran wildly around her shedding their feathers.

"Chrissie, honey be careful your scaring the chickens with all your energy!"

"Okay Mama I'll be careful!" She waved her hoof and was about to run off again. But the eggs fell out of the basket and were quickly falling to the ground. But suddenly-

"Chrissie I just told you to be more careful! These babies could have died." Her mother was levitating the eggs with her magic. 

"I'm sorry Mama!" Chrissie started to cry, and her mother pulled her close and ruffled her fur.

 

"I-I'm Sorry Mama." Chrissie repeated the sentence. She didn't notice she was crying until a few seconds later. Trying to avoid any questions, Chrissie looked up at her friends and smiled. "I'll make some more tea." She walked over too the kitchen refilled the pot with water.@@JonasDarkmane, 

"I'm sure whatever you want to be Rave, you can do it."

Lorcan shook his head at the stallion's remark and decided to disregard it, other than starting something. Lorcan drank the last sip of his tea and looked over at Chrissie. He saw a tear in her eyes and saw her lips moving. He trots to the kitchen and taps Chrissie on the shoulder.
"Hey, you need some help with that tea?"@,

Rave smiles at Chrissie. "Thank you, that helps. It really does". Rave was having his own flashbacks. 

 

"Say that to me again. Say that to my face". 

"Your family is a treacherous one. They all deserve to die for what they did to the Crystal Empire". 

"That's it. This can only be solved with a magical duel". The other unicorn nodded and they both prepared themselves. Rave started hitting him with powerful spells, but he was no match for this pony. He was getting his flank spanked. Rave panicked and started using dark magic. The unicorn was instantly thrown against a wall, his horn snapping in two and magic being sucked out of it. Rave stared wide eyed. A teacher walked in and looked at Rave, then at the unicorn buck and then back at Rave. She shook her head. "You are in deep trouble". 

 

He woke up from his flashback and noticed Chrissie's tear, however, he saw that Lorcan was already providing help. He decided not interfere as he would likely only ruin things..... like he always did.

"No, actually it's almost done." Chrissie wiped her tear and looked away. She wanted to talk about anything but her past right now, but that was unlikley considering how loving her friends were.  She poured the tea into cups for her friends and put them on the table to cool. She did, however smile at Rave.

Lorcan follows Chrissie and puts his sore hoof on her back.
"OWSO I wanted to talk to you in private, it will only take a few seconds.." Lorcan had a genius idea to validate his wanting to spend time alone with Chrissie.
"Damn, I think I sprained my hoof...can you look at it?"

(Starting as soon as I get settled in...just took a shower soo~)

Sinu tries too look away from everypony, in a slightly awkward way; he had no idea what had suddenly occurred, and this causes him to feel uneasy. This assumedly mutual "friendship" seemed to not actually be that way. Usually, being around friends would cause him to smile in the first several minutes, but Sinu hadn't done so in the past several hours, plus the time that he was there.

Rave watched the two carefully. He was not sure what was going on. He noticed Chrissie smiling at him and he blushed a little bit, returning the smile. He then looked around him and saw that Sinu wasn't enjoying himself. Rave stands up from his seat and walks over to where Sinu is sitting and takes a seat next to him. "So, how have things been? What do you like doing?".

Sinu continues looking away sternly, as he was too close to yelling "Why does everypony care so much about me?!"; this was relative to being very often ignored by anypony his own age, but he calms down within several seconds. Sinu hesitates to answer Rave, as there was pretty much nothing that he hated more than being asked how he was by ponies that he didn't know well. "I — I'm — fine, I guess." Sinu says awkwardly.

Rave leans towards Sinu and whispers. "No your not, I can see it. Please, allow me to help you. What is wrong? Maybe I could help you". He gave Sinu a sympathetic smile. He looked around to make sure no one was looking so that Sinu wouldn't feel uncomfortable.

Diego listened to everypony talking about what they wanted to be when they were older, and grinned. He saw himself as a chaos mage, causing trouble for everypony, but not settling down to a normal job. After all, his mother Shadow Star had not. She was a professional gambler and often traveled to cities like Las Pegasus or Manehatten to ply her skills. There were several ponies who had ended up bankrupt due to challenging Shadow Star at the gaming tables. Diego thought that maybe, since his magic could make the impossible happen, he could use it on himself to make himself an alicorn when he was older. He smirked at the thought. Yes, that would shake up all Equestria, and ponies would have to take notice of him after that.

Sinu moves away slightly so not to be too close. "It's nothing. Social anxiety." He says to Rave. That really was everything that was bothering him at the moment; Sinu never made friends easily, and this mostly random gathering was certainly not helping. In any situation like this, he was always the one to stand in the corner and wait to leave. "Why does it matter?"

"Why does it matter? Because everpony should be having a great time here. I bet we are all pretty anxious. Is there something that you want to do?". Rave gave him a smile. "Perhaps we could play cards, I'm sure that Diego knows some fun games, aint that right Diego" he called over to Diego.

@@JonasDarkmane, Diego grinned from ear to ear. "Yes, Mum taught me a few card games," he said. "We could start with a simple game, like poker. We won't play for bits tho, just for fun. It would be better that way since we're playing as friends. Of course, Mum always plays for bits and likes to keep going til the other pony is completely broke."

"No, there's nothing that I specifically want to do; I'll just do whatever everypony else is doing." Sinu replies; "Excuse me for a moment." He gets up and trots over to the bathroom, where he takes the paper towel out of his nose, which the description of would be unsettling. After going back to the main room, he stands at a wall instead of sitting down again.

Chrissie sat the cups of tea on the table then turned to face  Lorcan. "I guess I could take a look, I know I pretty basic hoof wrap." Chrissie jerked his hoof up and inspected it. She sighed and then released it. Chrissie grabbed some bandages from under the counter and wrapped his hoof with it. "There you are." She said when she was done.
