Sinu sighs as Rave walks away; he didn't intend to be mean, but he reacted badly. After getting everything, Sinu picks it up with his magic, along with his case and walks to his next class, to sit in the back alone, again. Anypony that would say anything to him along the way, he would hesitate to long to respond, and not say anything.

@, Diego stared at Midnight. Finally, he found his voice. "That is just totally awesome!" he exclaimed. "I'm really gonna have to get that spell done to give me temporary batpony wings now. I could do it next week maybe, and instead of just doing it for kicks, I'm gonna put it on me to show that batponies are awesome!"

Midnight smiled from ear to ear and jumped up and down in excitement. "That would be such a cool spell!" She exclaimed. Then I'll have sonepony to fly around with at night other than Ziggy." She then realized that Diego wouldn't know who Ziggy was. "Ziggy is my pet...uh...bat." She said. Midnight help back from mentioning the kind o

f bat he was to avoid any harsh criticism.

"Lorcan.." She frowned and went to hug him. "You know you can trust me right, so why are you faking this?" Chrissie didn't actually know he was faking. She was just guessing.  "Don't you still want me as your friend?" Chrissie was hurt-yet again. And she hoped Lorcan said yes. But in her heart she knew the answer.

@, Diego looked pleased. "And when it wears off, cuz the spell won't last forever," he said, "I'm sure that Night Sky would be happy to fly around with you. I'll introduce you to her if you come round my house after school; today's one of the days where she visits and later, she and Mum will go out."

After getting everything done that was nessicary, Sinu had been left with a small amount of free time. He sets his instrument case in the corner of the band room, as it was too long for the shelf, and walks out. He trots outside to the area behind the sorage sheds, as he does occasionally, for he had a compulsive habit of looking through piles of junk for "salvagable" materials. Presently, Sinu reaches the area where the junk is stored, unaware of the nearby prescence of Diego and Midnight, and uses his magic to spread out the contents of one pile to search for hardware, producing a loud noise.

Lorcan stood in front of Chrissie, unsure of what to say. He didn't know whether to confess or keep up his charade. On the one hoof, he opened himself up to the mare and revealed a secret he had hoped would remain buried. On the other hoof, however, it could have been a simple mistake. Lorcan sighs as he visually begins to struggle.
"I....I..." Lorcan grasps his head and groans.
"My head.....my head...." Lorcan collapses to the ground and passes out.

Midnight nodded in agreement at Diego and was about to respond before she heard a loud noise behind them. Without missing a beat, she put her hood back on as fast as she could and turned around to see was the noise was. She didn't see signs of any pony and turned to Diego to see what he thought of the strange sound. "Did you hear that?" She asked in a low voice.

Rave saw Lorcan passing out and ran up next to Chrissie. "Is he alright? What happened there". Rave searches in his saddlebags until he finds some crystalline shards and lays them beside Lorcan. The shards began to glow, giving a soothing sound. "That should at least make it easier for him". He then looked at Chrissie questioningly. "I'm going to guess that you two were talking about something sensitive".

@, Diego had heard the noise too, he replied, "I heard it, dunno what it was, should we go and look?" He was curious as to what it might be, and figured that if one of his friends was in trouble, he was going to sort whoever was responsible out cuz he wasn't about to let any of his friends get picked on any more.

After a few minutes, Sinu places a small pile of bolts into one of his vest pockets as he trots around the corner of the storage shed to look through more piles. Completely absorbed in his thoughts, he goes to the side that Diego and Midnight are on; he looks up to survey the area, and seeing other ponies, jumps back with momentarily frightened eyes. "Oh, hello..." He says timidly; "What — why are you — here?"

Midnight was looking around trying to find the source of the noise, when Sinu found them first. Midnight sprung up a little as he did, but calmed down when she saw it was Sinu. "Hi!" She said knowing what else to say. "Oh, we were just trying to find a lizard." She lied convincingly. "I was trying to catch one earlier. What are you doing here?" She asked curiously.

Sinu responds to Midnight with slight skepticality, forgetting to answer her question; "Oh — uh — a lizard? It seems that, in the middle of the school day, there wouldn't be nearly enough time to accomplish this. Actually, lizards are quite rare, or even nonexistent, in any parts of Equestria that experience winter. And, if I may ask, why do I literally never see you take off your sweatshirt? It's like, 20 degrees outside, or 68 in fahrenheit."

"Oh, lizards exist alright." Midnight assured him. Although she had only seen them in the Everfree. "But I like this sweatshirt. It makes me feel safer. Kind of like a security blanket ya know?" She said. It was partially true. It did make her feel more secure. "We all have that one thing." She wanted to avoid the topic and didn't want to talk about it anymore. "You still never told me what your doing here." She pointed out changing the subject.

Sinu remains unsure of whether these motives are true, and seems to get slightly nervous at her question. "I — uh — okay, the answer to the has been a — talking point of those that hate me, but — if you won't become like that... I have this problem called compulsive hoarding, and that causes me to sift through piles of junk and find almost anything with any value whatsoever, from miniscule washers to metal plates to pen pieces." Sinu then realizes what his statement could mean, and he bites the inside of his mouth, almost drawing blood.

"That's not a problem." Midnight said assuring him. "You know what they say, 'One pony's trash is another pony's treasure." she gave a small smile before frowning and drawing back again. "Well...maybe...if you can trust me with your secret,... m-maybe I can trust you with mine. " she looked up at him with pitiful eyes and a small smile. Midnight knew well that making herself seem pitiful could make ponies more likely not to share her secret for fear of guilt.  She started to be doubtful again of showing herself to another pony. What if he wasn't like Rave or Diego who accepted her? What if he would be afraid of her? These questions raced through her mind as she listened for a response.

Lorcan woke up and shuffled away from the selfish mare. Lorcan knew he was right to try and avoid her when they first met. She said how she would be his friend and accept him. Now Lorcan knows that she was a liar; a liar like all the other bullies who acted like they wanted to be friends with him. Lorcan trotted to the nearest bathroom and locked himself inside of it.

"Lorcan!" her eyes watered for a second, then she burst into tears. All she wanted was to have friends, but Lorcan...Lorcan she didn't even know. He hated her, but was it because of the rumors or something completely different? The whole period Chrissy knew him he had seemed so distant, pushing ponies away.

"Yeah," She sniffled "But all I can say is that he hates me. And that he doesn't trust me anymore." She pulled Rave into a hug and cried into his mane. She had so many fears of the aftermath of this event, what if Lorcan started bullying her? No, She couldn't let that happen. Chrissie decided to talk to him when he woke up and straighten things out.

Chrissie sighed and waited for him to come out of the bathroom. She sat, timidly on one of the chairs in the hallway.  So I'll tell him about my past. Hopefully that will regain some trust.

Rave held her as she cried in his mane. He didn't want to let go. She had been through so much. However, he understood that she needed to talk to Lorcan. "Everything will be fine Chrissie, everything will be alright. I know that you two will be able to talk this over". Rave thought for awhile. "If it doesn't, you have me, Midnight, Diego and Sinu" he gave her a smile. "I love you, Chrissie". He then left so that they could talk this in private.

Lorcan knew he couldnt stay in the bathroom forever. He washed his face off and looked at himself in the mirror. He became sweaty and weak at the knees; his face looking paler than ever. He runs over to the toilet and throws up, feeling worse than before. He was having a physical reaction to what had happened. Lorcan peaks his head out the bathroom door to see Chrissie sitting in a chair.

Sinu wanted to smile reassuringly, but instead looks at Midnight with complete apathy, and responds monotonically; "That isn't much of a secret, because many ponies know; my real secret — well, secrets — are worse, and I plan to tell nopony under any circumstances. Whatever secret that you have, I will not judge, unless you like to kill or torture others."

"Lorcan," Chrissie stood up and slowly walked over to him. "I just wanted to tell you something. It's true, I don't have PTSD. But.." She sighed and hoofed at the ground. "When I was a filly, I lived Appleoosa for most of my life. But then my dad got a job transfer here, but what we didn't know is that my Mom had cancer. She died a couple weeks before school started. My Dad got himself jailed to, he loved Mom so much. He started doing drugs and stealing taxis. But I know that everything is going to be okay, since we're friends now."

Rave went to the library and was checking some history books. "I hope everything will go alright Chrissie" he said to himself. He then noticed the jock was in the library as well. Rave immediately dove under a table he was near and hoped the jock had not noticed him. He didn't appear to have, but it didn't look like he would be leaving any time soon. Rave cursed silently.
