He only takes a few moments in his thoughts before noticing a voice come from no where. He simply shrugged as he charged forward into with the rest. "So I know this armour is heavy, man it is making me thirsty... Hey Cunning, if we survive want to grab a drink?"

 

He charges forward into the large room, spinning up his mini guns, aiming around for anything not friendly.

'Hmm nice room. Where do I get one! After sand. But grab the saw! Oh the loot is endless!'

 

Sand runs for the nearest piece of cover. Crouching down as though he is acting like a turret, giving a large grin as he licks his lips softly.

"Time to save us a... Uhh who is that?"

You remember having the shield the pony, trapped by the machine, is talking about. Dashia quickly unloads a barrage of Gattling rounds as she tells you, "Well...what ya waiting for? Get her the shield Sand. It must be what Crystal said when she talked about the machine's weakness. I will cover you."

As you all take cover and make ready for the fight, one Dragoon is sent flying while the others try to advance in the Gattling gun toting Dashia. The Unicorns look to be trying to pull together their magic for something.

 

@Elegron

Your study of magic has taught you how to always tell a spell when you see one. They look to be charging a shield spell to prevent the group from getting to Mare Doo Well.

The blade once again tries to pierce Mare Doo Well. But it is once again deflected. She looks to be able to do that only a few (3) more times.

Cunning perks up at Sand's addressing her, and smirks at his offer.

"If you're buying, tough guy," she says with a playful wink.

 

She follows the group into the room, and blinks at all that was going on.

 

A dark and broody looking pegasus is strapped to a table, and there's a pegasus with a serious steroid problem. Just another day, it seems.

 

She smirks and grabs Lil' Starbuster, aiming a shot at the huge pegasus. "I'll play with Tons of Fun for a bit."

Elegron sees the telltale signs of a shield spell and springs into action. he teleports into the group of unicorns and blasts them with a magic area attack to their horns. his offencive Magic wasn't good enough to do any real damage, but it certainly give them one hell of a headache, and break their focus.

Elegron quickly takes a slice at the closest enemy unicorn, and gets ready a guard spell.

"Oh right! That's my cue!" Sand drops the mini gun, taking out the shield and his trusty hammer, stepping up on a piece of cover. "I will save you! Hero mode go!"

 

'Sand just.... What? Totally not me. Must be saving someone. Instead of killing them.'

He dives down from cover attempting to make a run as he bashes anyone in his way.

Dyna runs about, ready with a frag grenade. "Guys, I might be able to sneak past them, but I will need some distraction to be able to do that. Do you think you can do that?". She looked at the bulky pegasus. "I might even be able to stuff a grenade up this guy's ass" she said with an annoyed tone.

Red stood outside the factory. Reports of commotion had been coming in and Red wasn't about to miss anything. She had been traveling for awhile now, going for caps from town to town, and usually something causing a commotion would be a good place to start to get paid. She looked up at the factory, the intimidating structure rising before he,r and then looked back to her companion. 

 

" What do you think is going on in there ?" she asked him

Sentinel walked up beside Red listening to the commotion inside. "All I can be sure of is that there is fighting going on. If we continue on we should proceed with caution." He said looking at the entrance to the factory.

 

"Although if there are ponies in need of assistance we should help." He stated taking a few steps forward.

-outside the Factory's Entrance-

 

A Pegasus with an orange coat, a blond mane and tail and an apple tree with Hearts for apples for a cutiemark steps out the door leading into the Factory. She notices the two looking at the Factory and walks up to them. She asks, "Are you two curious as to what's happening inside? I was just with a group that was Destroying something called the Pegasus Device."

Sentinel stepped forward to the pegasus. "Yes, why are they attacking this factory and why are they attacking this 'Pegasus Device'?" He asked looking at the pegasus. 

 

Sentinel rather not get involved in such actions but he was hear under his word to protect Red while she has a job to complete. 

[Commander Tangent 861]

"Sounds kinda.....sinister" Red said, looking up at the factory and then back at the new pony. She wasnt sure if they should go in or not, but it was a chance to possibly put food on the table for the next few days, so she decided she might as well investigate. 

 

"Yeah, why are they targeting it ?" She asked along with sentinel

"That's an easy question to answer. They are after what lays deepest in the factory. A gate said to traverse time. But to get to it a being by the name of Darkeyes and his Pegasus Device must be stopped. If they don't many innocent ponies will be turned into rainbows. The ponies will die. 4 of them possess the legendary elements of harmony. They fight to restore harmony to the land. Will you fight with them?"

 

She looks to have a neutral stance. But her question can easily hold a hidden purpose.

Sentinel begun walking forward toward the factory. "If innocent ponies are on the line then I don't see how we can say no." He said walking past the Pegasus. "I'm assuming your coming Red, I'm sure there are injured that can use your skill."

 

Sentinel continued up to the entrance of the factory activating his battle saddle so his gun was in place so he was prepared for battle.

The Pegasus says, "Wait! you don't know where in the factory they are. If you go with that knowledge it may kill you just to catch up. I know which room they are in."

 

She stops sentinel. She then looks to red waiting for red's reply. She has gripped sentinel's tail in her mussel so he can't move.

As Sentinel was walking forward he heard the Pegasus call out to him and as soon as he was about to halt himself he felt a tug on his tail. As he looked back he saw she had grabbed his tail to stop him. Unseen through his helmet he scowled at the pegasus and yanked his tail from the Pegasus' jaw [strength 10].

 

He turned toward the Pegasus. "Alright where are they inside?" he asked with his attention on the Pegasus.

[Charisma 10 speech 100] "I first need to know if your friend will fight with them. I happen to know and can currently, despite my current form, communicate with a friend, who happens to be the element of loyalty. I can let her know your coming. As well as give you their exact location. But your friend must answer the question. Sorry but that is how this works in my book. The name is Crystal btw. Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Sentinel looks back at the factory and returns his attention back to crystal. "Nice to meet you, I'm sentinel. Freelance bodyguard, I help those who need help." He said looking pass crystal.

 

"Red are you going or not, right now those ponies could be dying and we could be able to help them. Right now I'm contracted under you, so it's your call." He said looking back at the factory.

[Commander Tangent 861]

" I am coming !" She said, galloping up to Sentinel after chewing over the information given to her. " Let's go help these ponies out ! Oh, and by the way Crystal, I'm a combat medic, if you are ever hurting, I can fix it" She said, before activating her plasma pistol and levitating it out in the air, ready to use it if anything popped up. 

 

" Well, shall we move forward ?" she asked.

Crystal says, "ok. It is done. She knows your coming. Her name is Dashia. The group leader is the unawakened element of magic, Elegron. They are in the extractor room helping Mare Doo Well. One more thing of note before yall head off."

 

Crystal steps back and a pink flames encases her form. When the flames die off, a pink colored changeling with a cutiemark now stands before them.

 

"Remember this form, I will probably be joining after I gather my hive to aid yall against our common foe. This is my true form."

 

Crystal's horn flares brightly and she vanished from sight.

[Commander Tangent 861]

Red nodded to the changeling as she disappeared. " Been awhile since I have seen one of them, I didn't know they left their hives that often....then again.....they can disguise themselves" She said, turning back to Sentinel, " Lets go, those ponies can use our help, and we are not gonna let them down !" She said, going deeper into the factory.

[Chip Circuit 1,842]

Sentinel nodded at Red and followed her into the factory. He walked up alongside of her "we need to be careful, we can't be sure where hostiles might be." He said with his weapon still at the ready. 

 

The continued through the factory listening as the sound of gunfire and yelling could be heard echoing through the corridors.

-The Extractor: Battle continues-

@ Sand

you can tell that Dashia and Ebony have most of the enemies under fire. You can easily make it to the area near Mare Doo Well.

 

@Cunning

You shot hits the bulky Pegasus in the shoulder and he starts coming to engage you. However before he can get into melee with you Dashia barrages him with a burst of the gatts, forcing to switch to her as a target.

 

@Ebony

A few of the remaining enemies are attempting to attack you. The one you blasted has yet to stand. The other returns fire with a pulse rifle you know all too well. It is a weapon you have been trying to design for nearly a year.

 

@ Dyna

The Big Pegasus is targeting your sister Dashia. You know Dashia can take a beating, but not easily from this guy. You have a prime chance to help her and weaken this guy. However your strange(Pinkie) sense is tingling. The sensation is new to you, but you can tell it mean a big doosy is coming.

 

@Elegron

The two unicorns try to blast you with an empowered horn blast. Your defensive ability is ready, but they seem unaware that they are cross positions from you.

 

@The remaining Two

 

You can hear the sounds of battle getting louder as you pass a Pegasus mare, tending to many wounded. She says, "They are up ahead. I got these ones. Go help my daughter and her friends."

Cunning smirks as her shots hit the large pegasus in the shoulder, and her cocky laugh turns into a whimper of terror as the muscular terror starts charging toward her.

 

[Melee +10 - 19]

"Hoo boy," she mutters, and puts away the pistol to bring out her sabre, "Alright, let's see what this baby can-"

 

He's suddenly struck with a barrage of bullets from Dashia's general direction, and the musclehead turns his direction to her instead.

 

Aww c'mon, I really wanna use this cool...blade...laser...thing.

 

Though, with the guy distracted and packing a few bullet wounds...

 

Smirking, she activates the sabre and flies toward him, attempting a sneak attack toward his bullet wounds.

"You aint hurting my sister you big meanie" Dyna said quietly to herself. She brought forth a Frag Mine, readying it. She then felt a doozy, beginning to shake and doing weird shaky moves. "That was strange, I still don't know what these shakes mean..... but they can't mean anything good, better be ready". She ran in the direction of the big pegasus, hoping that her small size would get her close enough without detection, throwing the now armed frag mine in his direction, hoping the small blast will injure him.

Elegron sees that there's an attack coming from both sides. he knows he won't be able to as effectively block an attack from behind, so he waits for the perfect moment..... just as the bolts fly in his direction, he teleports just out of the way to watch the chaos about to unfold from his little magic trick.

He dives to cover, taking a quick look around the zone before taking a final sprint to Mare Doo Well.

 

Don't spot me... Just a normal raider in a normal zone. Nothing to see here! Go back to shooting at my 'Companions'!

 

He reaches Mare Doo Well. Taking out the shield. "So my friend. What can Surgeon Sand do for you today? A little hair of the top? Maybe a chest trim?" Sand gives a small chuckle to himself before bumping the pony on the shoulder. "I am just kidding he he." He plants the shield on the ponies chest. "Now how to get you free...."

 

Could blow it up? Kill him? Wait who is this? Ahh forget it Sand. Just hammer the blade or something out the way.

 

Sand begins to ponder, scratching his chin. "Hermm...."
