Do you ever act like you and your OC can talk with one another?

The relationship of Creator/Mod and OC is quite a famous relationship, as of this I was bored and thought 'Wonder if anyone else gets bored and does this?'
So I made this thread, do you ever act like you and your OC can interact like separate entities? For example...

Void-"Keenan?"
Keenan-"Yeah Void?"
Void-"Can I borrow some love or something? I am kinda hungry"
Keenan-"Can Changelings even drain humans?"
Void-"Always best to try before assuming right!"

Keenan-"Still no Void, you ain't draining me"
Void-"You're no fun!"

I write so, yeah, it's a common practice for me to run dialogue between myself or two characters in my head so I can get a clear feel of what the dialogue will look/feel/sound like when it's on the page.

I did once when I was talking to somebody.

I wrote his lines in a different colored text.

Like this.

I occasionally chat with Snowflake, his voice usually appears in my mind every now and then when I'm bored....

"it does?"

great now I can't use my color text

"why?"

because you represent it more then me

"why?"

because that's how I made you

"if you made me then why would you give me such a sad life?"

its a long story....
