Wrestling observer radio from may 2001, with prototype John Cena. I put it at the part with the Cena interview. Very interesting listen. :)

I like those tights a lot more than the red and yellow ones he had in WWE:

I loved the red & yellow but I've changed to loving the black & white instead because I think Hollywood Hogan was better than Hulk Hogan.

Well, I dislike Hogan either way but, he did seem more entertaining as a heel from what I've watched.

I've always have been and always be a Hogan fan.

He was better as Hollywood Hogan, IMO.

I don't understand the hate for him, he made the WWE and all wrestling what it is.

He's just never appealed to me, personally. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Probably because he became stale very quick. Yes, he helped WWE grow, but he forgot to grow with them. When you have Bret Hart around, you're gonna look very inadequate, very fast, unless you up your game. Speaking of, there's the WM 9 incident too.

Do these fall into that criteria as well?

Yeah. I'd say those are passable.

A lot of wrestlers are stales, 99% of the WWE roster is stale.

I fall sleep easily nowadays.

I will take the nWo over any of these nobodies today. (Except for a couple of stars, the rest are nobodies to me)

Why do you watch then? You don't seem to enjoy anything current WWE offers, and alternatives like ROH & NJPW aren't your thing.

I love old WCW and my local wrestling shows.

Another HVW show is coming up soon, cannot freaking wait.

Big Kev is very underrated in my opinion. True, he wasn't always the best wrestler ever and we certainly like to make Quad jokes. But this guy is incredibly smart, when it comes to making money in wrestling.

I agree, Kevin Nash is one of the biggest stars in history and has been one of my favourites since I got into wrestling.

As much as I don't deny the nWo's impact or legacy. I think I would have liked them more had they done the right thing and ultimately put the WCW guys over at Starrcade 1997 and began falling out before completely dissolving sometime in 1998.

But unfortunately their continued dominance and being forced down our throats completely hinders my opinions of the nWo.

Worst WrestleMania matches ever?

The nWo was the greatest faction in wrestling history, in my opinion.

I loved them more than those rip-offs known as DX.

And I know a lot of people who think of them as rip-offs.

I found out that Goldberg could be returning to WWE.

I hope to god, it's not true.

My worst nightmare will come true and he will be buried by the tyrannical rulers of WWE.

The only way I will defend his run, if he returns is if he wins every one of his matches.

No one in the WWE is good enough IMO to be in the same ring as him.

According to Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer, Randy Orton suffered a concussion during his match against Brock Lesnar, which the WWE hid from everybody.

Basically, Seth Rollins Curbstomp can be banned, Daniel Bryan needs to retire, but Brock can go off scottsfree and can hit hard on Randy Orton.

How long can Brock Lesnar get away with this? I am so sick of this guy. Draw or not, this guy is an unsafe monster.

Tell you all what. If you want to let somebody to go over Lesnar, let Nakamura go over him. I swear, Shinsuke will kick his head off.

How about Shinsuke Nakamura & Vader vs Brock Lesnar in a Handicap Match.

I'd watch that in a heartbeat.

Did Stone Cold Steve Austin ever use the STF as his finisher?

Both Wrestlemania XIX and Day of Reckoning 2 have it as one of Austin's finishers. But, I can't find anything about him using it.

Poor Randy.

Technically, nWo are the rip off. The idea came from the NJPW vs. UWFi storyline.

Only if it's a few appearances. But the old guard should never turn out dominant over the rising talent. That's one of the reasons WCW failed.

How about Shinsuke Nakamura & Vader vs Brock Lesnar in a Handicap Match.

I'd watch that in a heartbeat.

Throw in Dan Severn too. Brock Lesnar before there was a Brock Lesnar.

I'm all for making it look legit don't get me wrong.

But, to give Orton a concussion, that's just reckless.

Unfortunately Shane looks to be on the chopping block next.

Worst WrestleMania matches ever?

WM25 divas battle royal. The Corre vs. the midcard WM27. Pretty much all of WM9.

Sting v Triple H at WM31.

I'll get back to you with more bad WrestleMania matches.

I need to make a list.

How about Shinsuke Nakamura & Vader vs Brock Lesnar in a Handicap Match.

I'd watch that in a heartbeat.

I would watch Vader against Brock Lesnar.

Not with Nakamura, he bores me to death.

A lot of people getting pissed off at Lesnar.

Depends upon where said favorite is in their career. Rising Star/ main event? Go ahead and kick some ass. Already established/ legend/ older? Time to build the new guys. Cause if the old guy stays on top forever and then he retires, who will fill that void?

Wrestling is an ongoing story, and it needs to progress in order to be told well. To see the up and coming star's conquer obstacles and rise to fame. We've seen our legends and favorites make it to the top of the mountain. What's there left for them to do other than pass the torch to the next generation? Keep the lineage going.
