It happens when a wrestler on the apron counters a grapple while going through the ropes.

Billy Corgan is now suing TNA and Dixie Carter.

 

It's a long story. But in a nutshell he owns it from a prior agreement and now she says no and tried to make a deal under his nose. So he told her to leave and shut up and sued her and will now have the courts force her out of ownership.

 

There is a big powerstruggle going and it's rumored that by the end of the year or the beginning of the new year, the fate of TNA is decided. Either a rebrand, or the complete destruction, because Billy won't fund her the January tapings.

 

Dixie Carter has truly made herself one of the biggest heels, in the history of Prowrestling.

Because TNA has disrespected it's talent far worse than WWE (where exactly are Joe, Styles, Rhoode & Young right now?), was run by the same people that ruined WCW for a lot of people (Russo, Bichoff & Hogan), had a sweet TV deal w/ Spike, but lost it due to not following some simple rules (No man on woman violence & no Russo), and right now are so mismanaged that they're having a hard time paying talent & funding TV shows on time. They have outstanding debts and they (mostly Dixie Carter) are now being sued by Billy Corgan as well as MCC Acquisition corp. (on behalf of the parent companies for the fight network) for money owed.

 

They are the butt of most wrestling jokes for several reasons. Sloppy booking, nonsensical story lines, turning gold to lead by not capitalizing on it's own stars, trying to be WWE-lite, then WCW Thunder-lite,  not paying their talent well enough, or on time, and now not being able to keep afloat thanks to years of awful mismanagement.

 

WWE might be stale, butting heads w/ the fans, and has had issues w/ tasteless feuds, characters & storylines, but at least they pay their talent on time and keep the lights on. By all means, go after WWE. It's needs to hear the (constructive) criticism. But saying TNA is better or deserves to get off scot free is just plain delusional.

Sounds like Billy's attempt to sue is his attempt to wrest control from Dixie. She settles. Surrender's her share. He get's the control he's wanted and tries to rebrand. The problem is TNA's outstanding debts though. Not sure he can pay those off on his own.
