Is Jackson Spade a Kevin Owens ripoff?

 

I ask because, they both look very similar and both use the Package Piledriver as a finisher.

Since we're just one week away from the Survivor Series and the supposed "dream match" Let's break this match down once again and why this will be a train wreck.

 

1. Survivor Series will be held in Toronto, in Canada. Now everyone who remembers Starcade 1999, knows that Goldberg kicked Bret Harts head off in the Title match and ended the career, of Canadas greatest hero (eventhough i could name 10 canadians who are cooler then Bret, but i digress.) But that's not the only thing. BROCK LESNAR, HAILS FROM CANADA NOWADAYS AND HAS A CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP.

 

So now, alot of people expect, it's not a 100% sure thing, but there is a very good chance that Brock is gonna be cheered and Goldberg will be booed at the Survivor Series.

 

2. Dosen't have to do with the match itself, but the buildup is just piss poor. The Promo of Brock in Minnesota was a catastrophe and i could see it in Paul Heymans face, that he also knew it. You can't get the crowd to boo the biggest draw in wrestling today, if he was born in that city. The crowd chanted Goldberg sucks and Brock couldn't help but laugh at it. Vince was sitting backstage and pulled the plug and ended the segment early.

 

3. I said it before at one point, but why do people believe that this will be better then Wrestlemania 20? Brock isn't the wrestler that he was 13 Years ago and has a limited moveset and Goldberg goes to his 50s and loses balance after one kneestrike to Rusev. If Brock does a German, don't be surprised if Goldberg wrestles with a concussion half of the match, like Undertaker did at Wrestlemania 30.

 

And let's be honest, we all know Brock wins. I mean, Goldberg is just here to promote the Video Game, getting lots of money in his old days and also probably getting into the Hall of Fame in April.

Not the version that was handed to Triple H, the one that Goldberg, DDP & Ric Flair held.

 

I know they're technically the same but, from a history standpoint they are completely different championships.

Yeah you probably are. 

 

It's a welcome change to crowds that sit on their hands during a show. If they are loud and obnoxious, it's more the fault of the show, for if it were truly engaging, they wouldn't be trying to hijack a show. Consider it a form of protest to a dull, regimented product.

I think it's more like 'we're not having fun, so let's make our own fun.' Like the Charlotte segment that got hijacked. Charlotte is good at what she does, but for that segment, what was she really doing that could've interested the crowd? listing off her team mates? That is neither an engaging match nor a back and forth promo.  It was dull and obviously heavily scripted. What made it worse is that Charlotte had no way to get things back under cotnrol. She had no room to improvise. She was given her lines and told to follow them to the letter.

 

I find most attitude era criticisms to be jokes, but one that is valid is that guys like the Rock could improvise and react properly to a crowd, using a written guideline from the writers. Stars today are stuck with a word for word script. So when a crowd reacts unfavorably, what can they do other than stand by and watch it spin out of control?

Kinda like when Rocky Maivia wasn't getting over with the crowd so, they retooled him and he became The Rock.

That's essentially what they should've done with Roman Reigns. So similar in fashion that it hurts. Unfortunately, you talk about learning from what you did wrong. WWE didn't learn from what they did right with Rocky.
