He got in his room. "Uh, better watch what's going on in the screen..."

He put his wings on the sofa, carefully, and thought "Wait. Am I about to watch someponies fighting? This is certainly not me."

Lemon looked to his wings, that were re-adjusted for best angle variation and to hit things better. "Wait. What I've done?"

And started to think a lot more.

"But I can't die here. The only thing left I have to do is use my brain. And kill. And survive. But all my opponents... I don't know if... *Sigh* I need to talk to someone. No. The others will be watching the fight. Know what? I'll think in a plan" and, putting his Dream Recorder to charge up, he took a rest, until the fighting ends, or until he get all the strategy in mind.

Chivalry Knight

Chivalry burped in delight as he finished almost all of the food in the basket. "Aaah, now that was a meal fit for a king, haha!" Chivalry smiled at his full stomach. He looks at the monitor again, "Huh, still no sign of the participants. Might as well go see what everyone else is doing." Chivalry opens the door to his room, revealing the long hallway he came through to find his room. He turns back and closes the door, then see's a paper posted on it. "Hello, whats this?" He says to himself. "Ah right, these are the participants and who they will be versing. Hmm... I see." Chivalry's smile faded.

He walked down the hall and into the testing room, then he walked through the admission area and tries to open the doors to get outside, but alas, the doors were locked. "Interesting. I guess since the tournaments about to start, theres not really any reason to leave, but still..." Chivalry turned and walked towards the counter. "Hello, anyone here? The doors are locked and I want to get some fresh air... Hello?" Chivalry called out but there was no answer. "Huh... Guess they're on their lunch break." Chivalry walks to Foxist's room and knocked. But there was no answer considering Foxist was currently in Assassins room. "All well, guess I'll just head back to my room. What an interesting little adventure." He said to himself as he walks back to his room.

Tella

"It's almost time Tune, the match is about to start, cmon. It going to be fun, haha!" The young pink mare with a long blond mane and neon pink stripe across it is extremely happy at the fact that the tournament was about to begin. "We worked so hard on this, and now all of our hard work will pay off. It was such a good idea that mom had this idea, and so generous of her to give the winner one of her wishes!" Tella smiles at Tune as she rushes towards the arena seating area.

Tune

The Light green, young stallion with a short brown mane and a green neon stripe across it shyly walks with Tella to the arena seating area "Shh, Tella, you have to keep quiet. Mom told us not to tell anypony about that, or they might not understand, remember?" Tune quietly said to Tella. They both made their way to the seating area.

"Yeah, yeah I know" Tella Replied.

Neon was walking towards the same building that he encountered last time. He didn't want to watch a match. When he arrived, he realized the door was open. He decided to investigate and found a document which seems to be a guideline/instruction sheet for the guard ponies. He took one and decided to read it later. "Stop! You are not supposed to be here!" Neon turned around to see a guard aiming a tazer at him. Neon swiftly evaded the tazer's aim and shot the guard with a short burst of his bass cannon. Neon then hid the body in a dumpster and left. On his way back to his room, he check to see who his opponent is. His opponent's name was Ash. "Is he a pyro?" He jokingly told himself. He then afterwards walked back to his room.

"Eh? Nani? ...Why would I eat another living creature?" Samurai didn't mind the company, but if Lemon Slices was making a joke, it clearly went over Samurai's head.

However, before they can truly get to know each other, the announcement is made. Samurai empties his tray of food into a trash bin, bows to Lemon to excuse himself, and leaves before some pony can escort him. Not that he doesn't appreciate the gesture, but he has to get something from his room first; his cart.

Once he makes it to the tournament arena and faces his opponent, he props his cart up-right and opens it, revealing a full suit of samurai pony armor. Then, a small team of ninja-like ponies in black outfits appear in the tournament area. They cover up Samurai with a long white curtain that has a 4 diamond symbol on it. The curtain is only up long enough for one of the ninja-like ponies to create a beat with two wood blocks, starting off fast then slowly winding down like a countdown.

When the beat comes to a stop, the curtain is removed, and the other ponies vanish as if they were never there in the first place. And now, Samurai Echidna stand proud, dressed in his suit of armor as a pair of Solar Empire flags wave behind him. A chanting of "Ei! Ei! Oh!" begins in the background, cherry blossom petals seem to fall out of nowhere, and Samurai takes a stance. "You stand before the official Samurai Echidna, warrior of Japon chosen by providence!" The chanting and falling petals stop when Samurai points his armored hoof at his opponent. "Your head is too high! You should bow."

(Before you ask, no, the shadow ponies are NOT regular characters or anything like that. Just think of them like cameos. And I love how active everyone is! Just remember, I have a job, family, etc. I might not always have time to post replies right away, but I'll respond faster than you think. Just try to be patient.  :) )

”About damn time they fixed that cursed mic.” Ash muttered to himself as the announcer came on once again. He began making his towards the spectator stands, preferring to watch the fight in person rather than on some screen.

As Ash sat down and prepared to watch the beginning of the fight. He watched as one of the contestants ducked behind a screen and emerged clad in armor; all in an excessive display which made the dragon scoff. Arrogant too; for a creature relying on tools and armor rather than their own strength…

[i know what you mean Samurai; I tend to be a rather slow poster myself so I’m sorry if it takes time for me to reply to you.]

After Assassin heard what Foxist said, she felt disappointed. She made a angry face then a sad face. She continued to talk to Foxist: "I think you're right, you think go fight I assume? Let's finish this quickly. I'm Assassin. Now, don't you have to go fight now?".

"Nope", Foxist said. "Actually, I think the Japonyse one and another guy will fight. Since my door can't open, and I don't want to broke it, it's better to me to talk with you while... you know, somepony is fighting until the death and a lot of ponies are watching it and enjoying it."

Assassin smiled a bit and said, "Good, I was worrying if you just leave me like that. I knew you wouldn't do it. And you don't need to go to the fight, it's good for us. Now, what should we talk about? I never had friends before so.. you don't know me well." After she finished  talking, she sighed.

"So welcome to the club", Foxist said, laughing and coughing, since he was thirsty. "Ya know, sometimes you realize that friends who help you get better actually just imprison you next to them. It's so sad... Another reason to live alone, I guess."

Monitor on. Looks like the fight will begin soon.

"But could you bring me something to drink? Something healthy to drink, okay?", said, joking.

Assassin stood up and went to her bag. She took out a bottle of water and gave it to Foxist. "You said something healthy to drink, so here it is, water. Water is good for your body if you know well." Assassin said. After she gave Foxist a bottle of water, she asked, "Do you have a friend you really care about?"

@,

Foxist started to drink the water. A bit more relaxed.

"Actually, no... Being alone is good for me. To have a single idea", he said, sitting on the sofa, "I had love... I had friendship... But sometimes you realize that even the nearest ones can't understand who you are, and who you become... I am a little afraid of telling all my history, but if you are asking... *Sigh* ...Good water..."

Vertic opens the door "Oh..sorry! I was just checking my stuff." "Wait..who are you? One of the staff or something?" She tilts her head to one side, raising her eyebrow. She followed Tune to the coloseum."Oh hey there Samurai pony." (Word count .-. W H Y  Y O U  S O  A N N O Y I N G)

Sound wave

The speakers turn on and a small chime rolls in before she speaks. "Alllllright everypony, it seems both of our competitors are now here!" The seats of the coliseum are filled with ponies and griffons and even a few dragons as well. All cheering and clapping for the competition. "Now, Tella and Tune will tell you all the rules of the fight! Take it away lovely's!"

Tella and Tune

Tella speaks first. "Alright you two, rules are simple. We are in an enclosed stadium, though the walls aren't impenetrable. So if one of you somehow manages to cause so much destruction that it either breaks the ceiling or walls. Then if you are thrown out of the coliseum, you are disqualified!"

Tune then speaks. "Also, the winner will be determined once one of you has either been knocked unconscious, forfeits, or dies. Let's hope it never gets as far as death though. That wouldn't be pretty..."

Tella speaks again. "Oh, and make sure to do your best! Don't hold back even for a second, and uuuh... Oh yeah! The winner of this fights gets to go on to the next round!"

Tella and Tune speak together. "Have a good match, and have fun."

Then they both raise their hooves. "Three... Two... One..." Suddenly both of them shoot their hooves downward. "FIGHT!" They both run out of the arena. The fight between Samurai and Vertic has begun.

Chivalry Knight

"-yaaaaawn- Oh hey, looks like they're finally starting the match. Wonder what took so long." Chivalry spoke to himself as he watched the screen. "Hm... the both look like strong opponents. I wonder who will win." Chivalry smirks.

(Fight between

"Finally, my plan is complete. Oh, just some adjustments here and here...", said, projecting the Dream Recorder to finally be able to read thoughts in a 10-meter distance.

The monitor started displaying the arena, and the competitors.

"Oh... Seems like somebody is going to get killed... Seems weird, but I keep asking myself: Why are we going to fight each other? Shouldn't our species be learning about social interaction in this world?"

So he looked at the pony manikin, watching the fully-upgraded wings on.

"But I am not here to save nothing but myself here. I should had think about this earlier. It's a sad and sick way to think, but... I am just getting worse about this... And the fight... I need to eat something, what's in the fridge box?"

Photon Jet was shocked when he heard the word he didn't like. "D-Death!?" he said with a surprised look on his face. "I never knew THAT could happen in this tournament!" Photon Jet doesn't like those ponies that claim their opponents lives when it comes to competitions. It makes him feel uneasy.

Photon Jet was not as excited as he was before but was still eager to watch what the battles would look like on the monitor before his first round starts.

Steel watched the spectacle from a box reserved for fellow contestants. He casually sipped his drink.

"Bets are now open!" A booth waitress said.

"I'm not a gambling stallion, but I have faith in the Samurai. Surely one of his clear discipline and skill would have the advantage."

Starlit relaxed as she sipped the complimentary cider, levitating it in the air with a soft blue glow about it. She was listening to the rules intently, anxious for the fight to begin. She then caught the part about death. A chill creeped slowly across her spine, and the air seemed to grow colder. She knew Black Masquerade had assured her that no pony would die, but the possibility was still unsettling.

"An Earth Pony? Pleasure to meet you, Vertic. Now, let's see if you can dodge this..." Samurai Equine takes in a deep breath, hops into a solid stance, and aims his horn. "Magic Horn EXTEND!!!" With a mighty bellow, sounding out the name of his first spell, his horn magically extends towards Vertic at a rapid speed! Naturally, Vertic will most likely find a way to avoid or dodge the attack. However, this spell can make Samurai's horn retract just as fast as it grows out. The spell practically makes his extending horn shoot out dozens of times in rapid-fire succession; much like a machine gun. And all Samurai Equine has to do is move his head to adjust his aim.

"I don't enjoy sharing the ring with a mare, but if need be, I won't hold back!" Samurai declares. All ready, this is a very interesting fight. A unicorn VS an earth pony. Most would consider this one sided, but then again, it's not about the power or the weapons. It's all about the skill.

”Death?” Ash chuckled as the match between the two in the colosseum down below began. He had figured that a tournament run by ponies would have some rule in place to discourage killing one’s opponent but now that he found out otherwise…

”I can go all out without risking my prize. He said to himself; of course this meant that he shouldn’t expect any less from his opponents now; but that’s how it should be he thought; now it wasn’t just a test of strength and skill; it was a contest to see whose will to live was stronger.

He turned the monitor on. His personality changed a bit.

"Oh, I think I can see this fight. Better get used to see others attacking others"

And he was analyzing the two opponents.
"Hmmm... The seaweed eater has a lot of energy inside him... Wait-- Oh no, my thought recorder can't be used in monitors. But Vertic must find some weakness point in Samurai. Unicorn magic tends to be a nail in the hoof in those situations. But what would she use?"

"Too bad, so sad." Vertic has already swiftly ran away, she is behind Samurai, ready to attack from behind. Vertic slashes Samurai's back hooves. If Vertic is lucky enough, she'll be able to leave a scar on Samurai's back hooves, if not. It would slightly damage him and only leave Samurai a cut. "Who says a mare can't have it all?"

Vertic is fast, indeed. But without a smoke screen or anything to hide her movements, Samurai Equine is able to keep his eyes on her movements. Even with his head lowered, he never took his eyes off his opponent.

When Vertic moves in for the slash, all she hears is a metallic clank, and all she feels is resist. Samurai raises his hind legs and blocked it with his horse shoe-protected hooves just in time! But Vertic doesn't have time to gawk for long, for just as fast as he blocked it, Samurai is... gone?

...No! He's up in the air! He jumped, and despite being armored, he has jumped high enough that most pegasi would be impressed! By this point, Samurai has stopped casting his previous spell. However, from up above, his horn begins to glow red with magic. It glows brighter and hotter, until at last it turns into flames! Lots and lots of vicious flames! "The 2nd spell! Flaming Horn ATTACK!!!" Taking aim with his fire-based magic, Samurai dives down like a dynamo, headed straight Vertic!

Whether it's Vertic or the ground she is standing on, something is getting burned from this.

The flames went straight into Vertic!...Wait no, did it? Vertic already ran out of sight, where is she? All that Samurai can see is probably just dust on the ground along with a piece of cast wrapping left from her hooves. Vertic must have ran away..somewhere or..burned...

"It's surely a hard battle... Vertic really surprised me. I wasn't expecting such agility... But Seaweed-Eater is obviously leading the fight now. I wouldn't be surprised if he win. But where's Vertic? That fire magic cannot just... burn her instantly... If it did, of course..."

He walked towards the food box, and picked a orange. "Why we even harvest apples?", he continued.

"Surprise!" Vertic was behind Samurai again. It looked like Samurai did burn her, but Vertic did manage to escape. "That was close, literally!" She ran swiftly in cricles around Samurai, hoping it will make him dizzy and let Vertic have a chance to at least deal damage.
