Soundcloud... so what is it? (sorry I haven't quite checked it out myself)

 

 

Is it like a program you buy? Is it like a youtube but with sounds instead?

 

 

I thought I'd try and ask here. I noticed someponies use it to post their music up here

Yeah basically a "Sound YouTube" most musicians like myself use it to show off their music.

Soundcloud is mostly just covers. If you go to soundcloud looking for one song of its original version to listen to, good luck. 

It is good if you want to embed music onto your profile, though. The embed doesn't take up much room, looks nice, and plays well.

Free and you can use it as you please on the computer, however if you install the app, you should have an account before being able to use it.
