Fursuits?

Nah. Plushies are as far as I go, I can see the appeal, but it's not really my thing.

i hypothesized about it once but then i thought, i wouldn't want to be seen out in public in one you know?

How would anyone know it's you in it? XD

At this point I know I'm going as Pinkie Pie. I'm going to try to bounce and practice my performance while I'm not wearing it, then I'll practice while wearing the fursuit once it's done. I'm also going to watch episodes that have Pinkie Pie as a big focus, so I can do a better job emulating the personality. I also wouldn't mind some helpful tips about how to give the it a good performance.

The best thing you can do is really exaggerate your movements, given that talking in them is somewhat unreliable your actions have to speak for you. Big movements! And MASSIVELY IMPORTANT: don't approach kids, let them come to you. The ones that are unsure will freak out if you go up to them, and then the parents get pissy DX Crouch down to their level and let them come to you. If anyone (child or adult) shows signs of being uncomfortable around you, avoid them and give them space.

I'm not a fan of furries in general, most of them are insane/disgusting/nuts, in the BAD way. Plus of the fact there some idiotic thing called "Species Identity Disorder", which is where some stupid furry thinks they're NOT human.. I just find it idiotic and a waste of your life.

I also despise Pony suits, so don't think Im just biased towards MLP.

Species dysphoria is more a therian/otherkin thing, very very few furries feel it and those that claim to are often therian.

But it's no more a waste of your life than being religious or spiritual. People can't help what they feel. Even if it's a little delusional.

"Anthrocon raised a new record total of $36,684 [NOT FINAL] for The Western PA Humane Society, our supported charity this year." 

We can do amazing things <3 Not sure what the total was in the end, but that's in one weekend. 

On the other hoof I've had mostly bad experiences with Bronies, but thanks to the furry fandom I've learned just to give things a chance because not everyone is gonna be a bad egg.

I guess we've had opposite experiences then XD You had a bad experience with bronies, im a brony. I had a bad experience with furries, and you're a furry.

And that'd very cool! I know bronies raise a lot of money too, so I guess we're two sides of a bit, eh?

If I could, I would have a fursuit for a Lucario.  You may or may not have seen that one coming.  Sadly, I am a closet furry--but my family does know I am a brony.

I think their neat I wouldn't want a suit for a fursona or any thing but more of a costume for mlp and other shows I like.

I would count those as fursuits, and wait, a Bonnie fursuit? You're so lucky! I'm amazed you were able to make a decent fursuit within 4-5 days.

Let me make this more factually correct:

 

MOST of the fandom are insane... in the positive way. Sometimes can come off as a bit creepy, but they're nice people.

Then there's the nuts people, which are just normal furries on steroids. Not necessarily bad, but maybe a bit TOO much.

And finally, the disgusting. I don't even want to talk about what they do, or I will surely regurgitate a portal through time and send my half-digested BLT flying at your face.

 

As for species identity disorder, that's just otherkins. They're nuts in the negative way.

I never did fursuiting before, it doesn't really interest me.
