It does establish character, but it feels like you came in to save the day quite randomly. What are the odds that exactly as you are around to see it, a fire spirit goes rogue? You can still do it, but like I said, check up with Defender. 

How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Three percent of the population likes classical music, if only we could get it up to four percent we'd be back in business and all our problems would be over." How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Everybody loves classical music! They just haven't found out about it yet!" It's an entirely different world. It's what you make of it that counts.

 

I found an easy way to find out if you've inspired someone. If their eyes are shining, you know you're doing it!

I've been getting more into writing fanfics, mainly MLP since it has such a deep pool of creativity to pull from.

I'm good with character and story concepts, so if you need help with a fanfic or something feel free to Private message me

But don't be hurt if I have to decline if I'm tapped out for a bit. Otherwise I'm fairly good at it just sometimes I have to let my mind subconsciously think of some ideas.

And another thing, we should all take alcohol addicion rolls. At least, if you've drunk anything that is. With what we've drunk the chance is 10%

 

So roll a d100. If your result is between 1 and 10, you've recieved an addiction.

 

My roll: 22, so nothing yet. Chances increase if you drink multiple times in a row though, so keep that in mind.

Not sure. Perhaps he was hunting them? Or they were in an area where Alicorns are common. I haven't actually read the lore, so I dont know, but spirits could be anywhere and pop up anywhere. If this were an area of high spirit activity, thered be a reason for the spirit to spawn, and also a reason for your character to be around (because he knows spirits tend to pop up in these areas). Not sure if it is though.

 

Your idea is right however, and I think you could give it a go. It would prove to be quite entertaining :)

Well Dashia already has an addiction of a sort. She drinks to keep her head from spinning every few weeks. They gave her the equal of moonshine. It was also laced with an affrodiziac.

Hey defender, mind if I have an item for sentimental value. It's the element of loyalty but it is missing its gem. Without the gem it is just a normal necklace. Dashia has it as a family heirloom.

Seriously though, did you like the little tale I put together? This character is a long running concept of mine. His backstory goes far and in deep detail. Mostly because I have to make up most if not all minotaur history myself. It gives a lot of work, but also a lot of freedom.

I do like it when people expand upon the established lore, especially when they do so in ways that don't feel quite incongruous but seem natural or at least plausible.

 

For instance, Tirek had horns and a hyper-masculine physique, does that mean he was in some way connected to the creation or existence of Minotaurs? Is Iron Will channeling his aggressive nature into something roughly positive as a character building stage persona? Just a theory but it's fun to think about.

Yea it's definitely a good background

 

usually I do deep in detail stuff like that but Chip I just threw something together for a previously created OC lol

I've already written out our though of most of that stuff and it fits like a glove (at least with the lore that I have read so far). Your ideas aren't so far off actually! :)

 

But you'll have to find out more about it in the RP. I recommend to everyone to slowly reveal the gist of their characters by telling things at the moments where it is appropriate ;)
