gaming I just realized how much technical depth Super Mario Sunshine has

There's a supprising amount of mechanical depth in Super Mario Sunshine. For example, you can spray the ground, dive, then do an endless water slide, which is perfect for fast travel, you can also cancel your spraying by clicking the R trigger and pressing A when your in the air. You can do a spin jump, then go straight into a summersault jump, you can even spin when your in the air. Has anyone actually tried these moves?

One of the overlooked strong points in this game, is that, at start, you'll follow the set path towards your goal, but once you master the FLUDD's controls, you have the possibility to explore alternate ways to get a star. Too bad they nerfed Mario's controls for it though  :okiedokielokie:

Another interesting technique, if you press A and R at the same time F.L.U.D.D will release a huge burst of water instead of just the normal blast.

It's sad I played Super Mario Sunshine once, I rented it from the game store and never played it after, which stinks because I love Mario and I wanna play Sunshine in full and beat it, maybe it's because I don't do well on the missions like with Super Mario 64.
