Tyra perked up at Blizzard's doubt about Caliber's plan, specifically at his doubting she can throw the group up to the airship.

 

She stomped up to him, already in a foul mood.

"I am more than capable of throwing you all up to that hellish ship," she growled in his face, "I have never broken a bone in my life!"

 

She remembered her creed, and and backed off.

"My apologies, I am in a foul mood," she admitted, "Perhaps it is wise we throw those who are most capable of dealing with such a machine up there? Such as you, Caliber and Ticktock. He looks rather experienced with machines, does he not?"

Radiant listened to the two. "Well my plan is based on the assumption that they are still at the city, they are still in the proper direction. Judging on the conditions here we were brought south and right now they are still north of us. As well as a plan for some of us to board is a poor idea, they were able to teleport to the ground using those special beams from ships. We can only assume that's how they would get back up into the ship, so as soon as they see that a few are on board they would transport their troops into the ship. They wouldn't worry about Tyra and I since we can only attack within a certain distance. So the fight inside would be 3 versus near fifty and close quarter combat in an airship can be dangerous." He argued trying to make his point. "Although now looking over my plan, there could be innocents onboard so scratch bringing that ship down. So perhaps Tyra and just two of you should sneak around while the rest of us create the distraction so Tyra can get the two on board without them noticing."

Icarus lowered his head a little and shook it. It seems no one heard what he had said. But he looked up again. " If I may, I have an idea, if these pirates are as foolish as I think they might be...." Icarus said, referencing his orb again. If they listened, his plan did have several risks, but it would make their lives a lot easier if things played out.

Blizzard put his hooves up and said, "Ok ok ok! Hold on! Doc, that sounds good too, but no matter what plan we choose, we gotta catch them first! They're getting away!  Let's race back there and beat them down!  Ready set? Go!" Blizzard couldn't skate because the desert heat was overwhelming, so he galloped north as fast as he could.

"Not so fast Blizzard ! I need to explain. the orb I dropped is one of the Stalliongrad guards many restraint tools. Basically, it causes the ponies around it to be put into a hallucinatory state, were they witness a nightmarish version of reality around them..... if we want to get in, or we need an edge, I can activate it using my magic. It is bound to cause panic among the crowd, and possibly some of the pirates..... we could use it to get close without being detected.....but we would be effected too, so if we go with this, just remember that the visions you see arent real" ICarus explained.

Radiant let out a sigh as he watched Blizzard begin galloping off. He begun following after him just keeping with a trot to not tire himself out against the heat of the area. "Blizzard perhaps you should slow down a little, otherwise you may fatigue yourself in this heat." Radiant suggested as he continued following, he didn't want to leave members of his team out on their own.

Tyra listened to Icarus's explanation of this 'orb' of his, not really liking the sound of it.

 

"This sounds like dangerous dark magic, my friend," she admitted, "though, I trust you enough to use it when you absolutely must. I will be sure to not let my eyes deceive me."

 

She began trotting along with him. "So, who shall I be invading the ship with again?"

Blizzard slowed down a little but replied cockily, "Yes sir, I'll slow down, but don't forget, I'm the Ice Blizzard! This heat isn't that bad to me, but you're right. And anyway, staying with the group is the best option, we don't wanna get separated from each other." He turned to Icarus, "Ok doc but use that orb thing as our major flanksaver in case we catch major hell up there." He continues to trot in the direction of city.

"me. ice blizzard, and ticktock are optional." he said, with an air of swagger. "but we need ticktock the most. he's the one who can disable the ship, and bring it to the ground." caliber said, as he started to walk. "its a good thing i had a big breakfast, i feel like i can fight forever!"

"It's very draining on the Unicorn that activates it, so it would probably put me out of the fight for a bit, but if as a last resort, it could be useful....but for now, let's refrain from using it, as these things are rare and are destroyed after use. " Icarus said, walking alongside all the other ponies.

Blizzard heard Caliber and replied with humor, "Haha! Careful bro. You don't wanna end up barfing all over the place! Come on let's go! Get moving! On the move!!! The sooner we get to the town, the sooner we get to pound face and kick flank! Hiya! Take that pirates! *punches and kicks to the air*"

Litle time leter,as our heroes reach airship in the sky.They could see airship didnt moved,and light beams arent shotin from it.Town wasnt much guarded,but it head couple of thos 'pirates' walking around it.They could see that those strangevlooking ponys where knocking on town ponys dors,and with out force leading em to midle of town where Mai Trin was...

Blizzard saw what was going on and started to draw a plan with ice in the sand, "Ok guys we can't just rush in or we'll be screwed." He looked up to Tyra, "No offense axe girl, but that means you mainly." Back to everypony, "Ok here's what I think, somepony throw a rock to get a guard's attention, bait him into the bushes, and silent kill him! The rest of us will sneak past that position, and into the town and get the drop on Mai. But we gotta stay low and stay to cover. Remember stay focused, stay alive. Whaddya think?"

caliber had already done that. "wait...did it have to be a rock?" he asked obnoxiously. he had already killed the guard with an expert throw with his sword. into the guards face. "so, we sneak in, get on the ship, and wreck their sh*t?" he asked, grinning. "okay, just clarifying."

Blizzard replied, "Anything quiet and non-lethal to get that guys' attention. But there's still one more problem." *Draws line between them and ship in sand* "How in the heck are we gonna get up there?! And pray tell how without being spotted?! That's why we're planning, because we reaaaally need to think about this long and hard before we go in. Anypony elses have a plan?"

Radiant stood there while everypony was focused on Blizzard's drawing in the sand, when suddenly a stick enveloped in golden magic came through clearing the plan on the ground.

 

Radiant had his magic back and begun drawing a simple layout of the city. "Blizzard, Ticktock, Caliber and Tyra sneak around through the alley ways to not be spottEd. Icarus and I will approach from the from under the guise to try to talk to Mai again. She won't know my magic has returned. While they have their attention on Icarus and I you all try to get on the ship. After that Tyra will rejoin us if battle commences on the ground." He said with a smile now that he had his magic back.

Tyra looked on, surveying the situation, then watched as Blizzard began explaining a plan and drawing in the sand.

In the back of her mind, she couldn't help but think it looked fun.

 

She perked up as a golden stick appeared and began crossing it out. Radiant had his magic back!

A relief washed over her; perhaps now he would retake his position as leader?

 

She listened intently to the plan, and nodded.

"Aye, I understand," she nodded, and looked toward the three stallions, "if you boys don't mind a girl coming along?" She added with a playful smirk.

Radiant looked up from the ground up at Icarus. "If things go sour Icarus you and I will have to depend on that orb if it becomes too much for us to handle." He interjected relieved that they would have a contingency plan.

 

He looked back at Tyra and the rest of the group. "So what do you all think?" He asked

[Commander Tangent 861]

" I think it all sounds good" ICarus said giving a nod. He was glad to have Radiant and his magic back, as well as his contingency plan being green lit. It things went bad, it would be a good fallback." Hopefully me and you can provide ample distraction for the rest of the group, I am ot sure how long she will tolerate us" Icarus said

Radiant looked back at Icarus. "First thing is how long Mai's men will stand us. So we may be going in attacking which will provide a fair distraction Either way." He said looking back at Tyra. "So what do think? If you approve shall we begin moving Tyra, you're still in charge after all?"

"Aye, it is a grand plan!" Tyra nodded, grinning with approval, "We shall move when we are all able!"

 

She glanced aside for a moment, then back up to Radiant.

"However, I must say," she continued, "now that your magic has returned, I have no qualms about you reclaiming your position as leader!"

Ticktock nodded with approval "The plan as a whole sounds good but we need to find a way to get to the ship that no pony would expect because me and blizzard are capable of teleporting up there but then who's to say that they might expect us to come back and teleport onto the ship? " He said with a serious tone.

Radiant looked back to Ticktock. "A fair point but for the time their main force will be on the ground, Icarus and I will be more then enough the handle such a small force. So they will feel the need to focus on us while you all find your way up on the ship. Plus we need some ponies on the ship to find out if any innocents are on board before we take it down... also you will have Blizzard and Caliber to protect you." He said looking back at Tyra. "If you like, I will take back leadership of the group. "

Tyra grinned widely up at Radiant, looking almost relieved that he approved of her proposal.

 

"You have done well leading our group, and I have no qualms of going under your command once more," she explained, putting a hoof to her chest, "I am no leader just yet!"

[Chip Circuit 1,842]

Radiant grinned at Tyra putting his hoof to his chest and looked back at his group. "Alright I'm back in charge, we continue with my plan. Icarus and I will head in using the main roads if combat ensues then so be it. Otherwise you four make your way from the side to get on the Airship. Making sure citizens stay safe is priority, next is disabling the air ship." He said gesturing his head to the side toward the city. "let's go."

 

Radiant begun heading into the city hoping the ponies would assume he really just wanted to talk.
