As Radiant was on his way to the mess hall one of Tybalt's birds come flying toward him dropping a letter before. Radiant caught the letter in his magic. "Damn it I guess that means I won't have time to eat this morning," he said to himself as he opened the letter and read it. "Yup."

 

Radiant sighed as he changed direction and headed for Tybalt's tent. Once at the tent he could hear Caliber and Blizzard were already inside.

 

Radiant let himself inside and stood by the flaps of the tent to await for Tybalt's explanation.

Since it was apparent she wouldn't get an answer, Tyra simply discarded the letter and finished off her breakfast before hopping off her chair.

She patted her chest and let out a burp before walking toward Tybalt's tent. Now she had some food in her system, she was more than ready to take on these pirates.

 

She overheard Radiant complaining about not getting to eat anything, and she looked up to him.

"Perhaps you should eat something first, friend?" She suggested, while peeking her head inside Tybalt's tent.

Blizzard broke the ice of silence, "Ok, we're all here Tybalt. In the letter you said something about the location of the enemy headquarters. Is this true? Do you really know where those pirates are?" Blizzard said as he put a hoof to his chin with a skeptical expression.

"Yes..." Tybalt started as he tryed to find something in his bag "...we have succeful location place where there harbor should by..." he pulled out map of west cost of Equestria "...There was huge pirate activity in this area." He made huge circle around some sorth of hil close to the water "We dont know where you can enter in there base,that will be your part to discover.." he looked at our heroes "Anny question?"

Blizzard responded immediately, "No sir, except one. When do we go? Should we go right now and pound their lousy faces in? Or should we stay here for a bit and make preparations for our assault?" Blizzard asked as he got up on all fours , ready for anything.

"You shold go before night fall.." Tybalt started,while looked at some paper next to the map.After couple of seconds he contineu "Dwayna army should be here by the sun raise tomorow." He laugh a litle "And beleve my you dont whant to be cought in that fight." Tybalt looked at otheres "Anny more question?"

Icarus picked up the letter that was dropped to him. He looked around, and then read the letter. A frown crossed his face. Tybalt again.... he didnt trust this stallion... he was to mysterious, no one knew his motivations or what he wanted to do. IT was a perplexing mystery, that  pony. He approached the tent, and got inside of it, looking to Tybalt. " What is this...lead... you have ?" He asked

Ticktock shook his head at Tybalt and saluted "No sir" He said as if a soldier he then turned to the others "Um guys after the events of yesterday I was wondering if you can give me some kind of combat training so that I am not dependent on my magic also I could do with some weapons training so if I was to get my self a weapon would you help me learn how to use it?"

"hm?" caliber looked at ticktock. "well, now, you gotta understand. you cant just pick up a weapon, and get good with it in a day. ill do what i can, but i dont know. it all depends on how much talent ya got." caliber stood up. "C'mon, i know a rather good weapon shop around here..."

Blizzard jumped up and outta the tent, "You two do that and Ticktock, if you need anypony's help with fighting when you get back. I'd be more than happy to help.   " He then says to Tybalt from outside the tent, "No qualms Tybalt. No qualms." Blizzard then proceeds to practice/have a little fun by using a stump near their campsite as a dummy. "Hiya! Take this! and that!"

Radiant left the tent and looked at Caliber who was leading Ticktock. "Caliber you two get an hour and we're leaving, with or without you two. Another note teach him how to use a weapon with his magic, he is better with magic so it only makes sense... not every pony has the balance to hold a sword in his hooves." He said as he made his way to the mess hall to eat.

Ticktock looked at caliber "Great. And I know you don't just get good with a weapon but I have never tried to use one and I have nothing else to lose" So with that Ticktock follows Caliber to the weapons shop hoping he would find a weapon which he could use to kick some flank.

Tyra nodded at the instructions, and watched as Ticktock was led off to be trained in weapons. She could have helped teach him how to use an axe, but without her own, it didn't seem right.

 

She was still bothered about losing it, but she knew she would get it back, even if it cost her her life.

 

She left the tent and began stretching herself, hopping on her hooves to psyche herself up for the upcoming journey.

Blizzard then goes for even more fun, "*panting* Training's done. Now time for some fun! Woohoo!" Blizzard begins to skate around in mid-air as high as the birds, looping around the camp, weapon shop and mess hall, "Hey guys!" he shouted to Ticktock and Caliber and he passed them at the weapon shop. And he saw Tyra, "Hey axe girl!!" he shouted from high up.

caliber led ticktock to the store, and caliber started looking around for a weapon that would suit ticktock. "hmm...axes, scythes, ball-and-chain, halberd, spear, bo-staff, bow-and-arrow...whattaya think, ticktock? see anything ya want?" caliber asked him. "i think your a scythe man!"

Ticktock shook his head at Caliber "No I never really liked scythes all that much" As his eyes look at all the weapons his eyes stop once he sees a blade with clockwork on it he point to it "That sword. I have a feeling from it sorta like it will suite me too a T but what do you think Caliber."

"hey, if ya feel like that swords calling to the warrior part of you, then its probably right for you. its how i got my sword, as a matter of fact." caliber picked up the clock-sword. "ooh, its got great balance...and a razor-edge." he gave it a few swings. "and its just heavy enough to use its momentum to your advantage. a damn good sword." he gave it to ticktock. "but not as good as mine. is that the sword you want?"

Ticktock smiled and nodded "That is defiantly the sword I want." He walked up to the shop keeper saying "Hello there good sir may I buy this fine blade off you" The shop owner nodded "of course you can it will be 100 bits" "DEAL!" Shouted Ticktock literally throwing the bits at the shop keeper he then grabs the sword with his magic and starts getting a feel for it.

As Blizzard was skating, he noticed Ticktock got a new sword. So he jumped down to him, "*lands awesomely* Stuck the landing! Hey Caliber, Tictock. So I see you got a new sword eh? Good choice! I have a sword myself *materializes sword and uses it as a cane* but I never use it, I'm awesome enough without it.   " *makes sword dissappear* "So you ready to practice rookie?"

Ticktock sees Blizzard land in front on him and makes on ice sword "Wow dude that is awesome" Although he thinks to himself "Wow and I thought I used to have a giant ego" but he then continues talking to blizzard "Yeah dude in ready for some training and also stop calling me rookie."

Blizzard laughs, "Hehe sorry, but you're still new around here so it's warranted. But if it bugs you, I'll stop. Alright, so what do you plan to do to start practive Ticktock? Do you wanna challenge one of us, or do you wanna try using your sword on a dummy first...? *looks around, points to stump* Like that stump for instance! That can be your practice dummy."

Ticktock looks at Blizzard "Hm I think its best I train on a 'dummy' first so I don't get totally rekt by one of you. Also it might be safer for that people in the general area I think" He uses his magic to pick up the blade once more giving it one last quick inspection before asking "Ok guys so what do I do?"

Blizzard raises his hoof and opens his mouth, stops, and then speaks, "I-uh, hmmmm. Caliber knows how to sword better than anypony I know! I'm serious, he's the pony you want to teach you." Turns to Caliber, "Go ahead Calibro (cal-ee-bro) show him how it's done. I'll just sit back here and watch." *Jumps back and sits on ice pillar*

caliber frowned. that certainly wasn't how he was trained. and they didn't have time to waste on a dummy. what would that serve, anyways?

 

"i think we should first establish a sword style for ticktock. ill spar with you, attack however you please."caliber called out, as he took out his sword, and raised his sword sideways to his shoulder. defensive stance.

 

'ill bet hes a roman-style fighter...but you can never know for sure' caliber thought.

Radiant arrived at the mess hall and grabbed himself a plate of food and begun eating. "I have my concerns with Caliber teaching Ticktock sword handling. If he tries to teach him that acrobatic sword style, Ticktock could kill himself being inexperienced with a sword." He thought to himself as he ate. "Training, I'm kind of missing training my rookie guards back in Canterlot. To see the fresh young faces full of determination as they enter the ranks of royal guard."
