"Shoot!" Red hissed as the Djinn began to leave. "Hurry! We need to catch them!" She trotted quickly after them, flicking her tail in a gesture for Ice to follow. Staying low, she could see them heading through the trees.

 

Well, she wanted to talk to them. "Wait!" She called loudly, her voice echoing uncomfortably loud through the dark forest. "Please! My friend and I wish to speak to you!" She prayed that she hadn't scared them off.

"RED!" Yelled Ticktock "Stop they might see it as a threat. It is best to let them go it will be good for everypony that way." Ticktock paced a bit "Guys I am getting more worried the dark magic I am sensing seems to be stronger this could just mean we are getting closer to the source but it might mean the magic is increasing in power."

Blizzard began to follow Red to catch up to the Dijin. He quickly an quietly pursued them, "Red, keep your voice down. They may take loud noises sensitively, so stay quiet." he said as he crept slowly behind trees and bushes to stay hidden and keep the Dijin from running away.

"Worry not, friend," Tyra whispered to Ticktock, watching as Red and Ice gave chase after the Djinn, "They are capable warriors. If these creatures become hostile, they will defend themselves."

 

She smirked. "As unpredictable as Blizzard is." She looked up at her pet wolf, who had tilted her head in confusion, "Nay, not you."

As Red and Blizzard rushed out after Djinn,they left rest of the party back.And they where all alone.They quick reached thos five Djinn but as they comed closer and closer there head started to hurth and there vision was geting worst,but as they comed close Djinn's heard them and they quickly jumped back ready to fight.They did not know anny one was behaind them so they frst off thinked our heroes where enemis.Two of the five Djinn pulled out plant like axe,and the two made bow from near grass.The lest one did not have annything his,but his eyes where dark black color.

Blizzard stopped when the Dijin got close, and he felt like he should prepare himself to fight, but he knew they weren't here to battle, they were here to negotiate, "We mean no harm. We are good guys, and we wanna talk ok?" he spoke slowly, hoping they'd understand him.

Djinn in the back with dark eyes laughed and said something thet our heroes could not understund,after thet other one laugh.Djinn in back looked at Ice then at Red and started,and this time our heroes could understund him "We dont!" He started turning his back on ice and red "Dont stay on our way,and we wont stay in yours." Other Djinn done same,turned around and started moving again.

Blizzard was a little conflicted. He didn't know exactly what to do in this situation. There was the fact that they needed to get info on these creatures, but there was also the factor of which they shouldn't provoke them, "I'm not sure, what do we do here Red?"

"We'll try once more," Red said. "Wait! Please!" She called again, quieter than her last call. "We truly mean no harm! We want to help the forest, and wish to learn of your race!" She followed them a little but stayed ten feet behind them or so. "We will leave you alone if you refuse to speak to us," she added. If they refused to answer again, then they could perhaps try and find another party of djinn. Or head back to the others. She was finding it difficult to think, though-- her head hurt, and she couldn't see well.

Djinn ignored Red calling,they moved forvered.It was like they where on they where on some kaind of mision and thet they did not have inaf of time for Red and Ice.They where not runing,they where going normal and stil had wepon-they where ready if our heroes would stend in there way.And as they moved litle further from our heroes,our heroes vision got litle better and ther head hurt litle less.

Red groaned. "Does your head hurt?" She asked Ice. It was all of a sudden, and it was making her rather worried. She wasn't dehydrated, and she didn't feel as though she was getting sick. But her head felt as though it wanted to split...

 

She shook her head. It didn't matter, it was just a little uncomfortable. "What do you think? Should we let them go? We might not find any others..." she said to Ice, staring after the djinn. "I think we should get back to the others. We've left them behind. But what do you think?"

Blizzard held a hoof to his chin and pondered what to do. They could either go back, or keep going. "Nah, let's go back. We'll have a good chance of seeing more of these guys later on. And I've got a plan with my camo paint..." he said with a grin as he began to look back, ready to go.

Red and Ice left the Djinn go there way,and maybe lost there onli lead to find what was happening with forest...

 

 

As the Ice and Red got back to the rest of team,they could see not much changed-they where not long ago left so noting  much could happen.Forest was in deep darkness and our heroes should make a camp and a fire.And call it for tonight-it would be much safer then to contineu looking...

Red nodded, a little glad he agreed. She was worried the djinn would have fought them if they continued, and her head still hurt. She began moving back, ears twitching. She suddenly hoped they weren't lost. She wasn't entirely sure where they had come from.

 

"Over here, yes?" She asked. Yes, those were tracks she had made when chasing after them. The broken branches and bushes that had been hurdled through were a tell-tale sign. Wow, she'd been obvious. Her ears flicked back in embarrassment as she began tracing her steps back to the others, more carefully now.

 

She found the others after just a few minutes. "They refused to speak to us," she told the others. "Hopefully we'll find more, though."

Blizzard looked down to the ground somewhat shamefully. He knew that they had to turn back to avoid confrontation, but he also figured there'd be more out there, "Yeah, we decided to come back. But don't worry, I think there's more of the Dijin out there for us to find." he felt the cold and saw it getting dark, "I think we should build a fire guys. Want me to get some wood?"

Tyra watched as Red and Blizzard returned to the group. She nodded at their news.

 

"Aye, we will find others, no doubt," She replied, then looked up to the evening sky, "it is indeed getting dark. Aye, we should collect some firewood. Perhaps we can use that clearing there as a camp?" She suggested, pointing a hoof to the clearing in question.

Red nodded once. Finding some stones and wood, she made a little area to make a fire in.

 

"We'll have to watch it, of course," she said, chuckling, "we don't want our fire burning down the forest." Pulling out some tinder that she magically had in her pack, she started a fire. She watched the few embers spring to life before lying down near the fire.

 

"I can take first watch," she offered.

Caramel had been traveling for almost the entire day now, and was completely worn out. Her muscles grumbled at her, thoroughly annoyed with her treatment of them, and her stomach practically roared. She sighed, annoyed with herself.

 

She had been traveling outside the wood, minding her own business, when she had seen green smoke. Now, green smoke was not a normal color for fire, or... anything, really. So, she had assumed it was some kind of flare, somepony was in trouble, and had heroically charged in. She was rather lonely, after all.

 

Well, the green smoke had been harder to find than she had thought. Considering she still hadn't found it many hours later. After much searching, she had decided it was time to backtrack--and found she couldn't remember where she'd come in from. She was completely lost. She hadn't even brought any food with her, much to the irritation of her empty stomach. She was about ready to give up--curl up, try and sleep and forget about the pitiful state of her stomach. She decided to try one more time, climbed a tree skillfully (despite the weakness of her muscles), and looked about her--

 

and saw smoke, from a fire. She almost jumped off the tree then and there from eagerness to get there, but carefully climbed down and only then charged into the thicket. She found this source of smoke fairly quickly, and burst into the clearing, and blinked at the party of ponies.

 

"Oh..." she said, blankly. "Er..." she took her chances. "Anypony got food?" she asked hopefully.

Blizzard looked at the fire, and got an idea. He took the fish from out of his pack, a frying pan, and some spices and began to cook the fish. "Mm-mm. Who's hungry guys? I got the fish in the pan hot and cooking." he said as he began to spread spices over the fish. "Huh guys?"

"I..." Red had never tried fish. It was worth a shot, though. "Okay, I'll try some." She said uncertainly, but then a brown mare burst through the undergrowth.

 

 

 

"Oh..." she said, blankly. "Er..." she took her chances. "Anypony got food?" she asked hopefully.

Red stared at the mare. "Who are you?" She asked coldly. The mare had a bow and quiver full of arrows on her back. Definitely a fighter of some sort. "We'll give you food if you're not hostile," she added. The pony's eyes were glistening with hunger.

"I'm not hostile when my belly's full," Caramel said cheerfully, then added quickly, "That is, I'm not hostile to you guys. Because, you guys have food. Food's great--er, you guys are great. No, but seriously, food--is that fish?" Caramel asked, cutting herself off as she suddenly took in the scent. Her nose wrinkled, despite herself. "You guys are carnivores? Never mind, I'm out of here."

"Aye, I would love some fish!" Tyra squeaked, then cocked her head. Since when did Ice have cooking tools?

 

She perked up as a new mare approached the camp, clad in a bow and arrows. "An archer! The guards of my village are archers too!"

 

Blizzard approached the new mare and sniffed at her, getting her scent. After a few seconds, her tail began wagging and she gave her a slobbery lick up the face.

 

"I think we can trust her, Red," The mare grinned, "Since Blizzard has come and said hello to her!"

"Never mind, totally not out. Hello, you cute doggy," Caramel said, patting the giant wolf, abruptly not intimidated in the slightest. She grinned as Blizzard licked her face. "Aww, friendly doggy. Whose a cute puppy? Cute, giant puppy? Is he yours?" she asked Tyra. "Because I totally want one. Ohh, the fish must be for him," she realized, and chuckled. "Luna, I screwed that up. So, do you guys have some actual food?"

Blizzard nodded and replied to the new mare, "Yuh. Well, not really. It's more of an....acquired taste you know? But nah, we're not carnivores. Um, as far as acutal food, we have hay for frying hayburgers, grass for salads, and marshmallows!" he took out a package of marshmallows from hhis pack, "Such a lovely food.." he thought before saying, "Um, hi. I'm Icesius Blizzard, but you can call me Ice. Nice to meet you...Ms. ?"
