She grinned. "We have all made mistakes in this journey, it does not make us any less than who we are. Your stupidity is why we love you!"

 

She got right in his face. "We all want the old Ice Blizzard back! That is the Ice Blizzard who got us this far, and that is the Ice Blizzard we want to finish this with!"

Blizzard grew an unhappy, disgusted, expression when Tyra got in his face. He didn't say a single word. He just simply said, "Hmph." and continued walking down the southern path. He looked back and shouted, "Alright guys! On your hooves and let's get movin'!" he said as he continued down the path, waiting for everypony to follow.

Red watched Tyra and Ice talk. Tyra seemed to be getting closer to the mark than she had. Next they needed Caliber or Ticktock to give a pep talk, and maybe Ice would feel better.

 

Caramel suddenly leaned towards her and asked in a mutter about Scarlet.

 

Red took a sidestep. "She's this alicorn that's trying to destroy Equestria," Red said shortly. "We don't know that much about her." She began moving after Ice as he walked down the path, gesturing for Caramel to follow.

Caramel was silent for a moment. She had no clue how to react to that. At last, she said, "Riiiiiiiight." Her tone was not sarcastic, but questioning. "I'll just... okay... right, we're going! Go. To, uh, fight evil Scarlet alicorn is this a good idea?" she added in a stage whisper to Red, loud enough for the full group to hear her as she trotted near Ice, ready to head south.

Tyra snarled with frustration as Ice ultimately ignored her words. She went back and grabbed the other axe, putting it away and stomping along with Red and Caramel. Blizzard, feeling concerned for her master, walked at her side.

 

She overheard the latter's question, and her anger began to subside as she thought.

"I am not sure," She answered honestly, "But we must try. For the sake of the world, and for ourselves.

 

She ran her hoof along her wolf's fur, the familiar sensation calming her even more. She knew Blizzard would never abandon her.

Blizzard slowly walked along the path and suddenly put his hoof up as a sig for everypony to stop, "Hold it." he said before kneeling to the ground and inspecting it with a sniff, "Getting closer. Let's keep moving." he said as he kept walking.

 

"I want to be silly....but...my silliness is what potentially could doom us all! I just need to stay as serious as possible until Scarlett is removed off the face of Equestria."

It seemed like at this point, Blizzard would stay serious for as long as he felt he needed to. Pretty much the only thing that could make him feel better, was if his entire team acted silly to help him feel better. But he knew that wasn't possible due to the fact that nopony else on this team was as silly as he normally was.

Tyra halted at Ice's order, then moved on when he gave the signal.

 

She didn't understand at all; he was not acting himself, and he wouldn't tell the group why. What could possibly be so bad that it would do this to him? And what could they do to bring him back?

 

Perhaps...in order to bring back the old Ice...she would have to remind him of the old Ice.

And there was only one way to do that.

 

"I cannot stand such a dreary atmosphere from everypony!" She declared, smirking as she hopped onto Blizzard's back, "If we are going into battle, we must go in with confidence! Our heads held high and our blades gleaming!"

 

She grabbed her axe and held it up in her hoof. "Who is with m- whoa!" She feigned losing balance and toppled forward, past Blizzard's snout and onto the ground in a comical heap.

"I am okay!" She insisted, helmet drooped over her eyes.

Blizzard saw what Tyra was doing, and couldn't help but quietly giggle. But he tried his best to conceal his laughter and thought to himself, "That was pretty funny. But wait. Gotta....stay serious."

 

He continued walking as normal, and said to Tyra, "You ok?" he said as he readjusted her helmet.

"Aye, I have never been better," Tyra chirped, quickly sitting up and putting her axe away, "Now then, we must be on our way!"

 

"TO BATTLE!" She yelled, and sprinted ahead...only to (deliberately) catch her hoof on a bare tree root and come to comical rolling stop on her front, with her hindlegs dangling over her head.

 

"I am okay, again!" She yelled, spitting a bit of grass out of her mouth. Hopefully this would help cheer Ice back up.

"tyra, you klutz." caliber said, bopping her helmet with the flat of his blade. "always tripping over every vine, root, or ever chair thats been left out...honestly, only idiots fall over things like tha-"

he tripped over the same root tyra tripped over. he rolled three times, and it looked ridicules because his cape swished along with him, and landed on his face when he stopped. 

 

"...i meant to do that." he said, his cape covering his face.

Blizzard couldn't help but laugh out loud when his friends did all that. He felt as though being silly was....ok. By not acting himself, he knew he was being sillier than he ever was before. He decided to play along for the time being until they got to Scarlett, "Aw buck it. Wait for me!" he then ran full speed, and did the same thing his friends did, and landed in mud, splashing everyone with mud.

Tyra blinked as she was bopped by Caliber's hilt, then snorted as he tripped over the same root she'd tripped on.

It seemed he was also getting in on it.

 

She smiled as Ice began laughing, then decided to follow suit, collapsing in the mud with them.

She laughed and got on her hooves, wrapping her forelegs around him in a tight, near bone-crushing hug.

 

"This is the Ice Blizzard I know!" She yelled, tail swishing happily.

Blizzard was nearly suffocated by Tyra's hug. He did want to fix his mistake, but he didn't want his friends to be unhappy, "Alright...you...got...me. Now, can we please continue on the path? I enjoy having fun with you guys, but there's still the mission we gotta handle. So let's go ok?"

"As long as you start smiling again," Tyra teased, smirking as she let go of the stallion, "Your marefriend would not want to see such a sad and serious pony, would she?"

 

She hopped onto her hooves and continued along the path, Blizzard giving Ice a slobbery lick up the face in her passing.

Blizzard felt better on the inside. Although, he was still not letting up from what he had done. Hence, why he was playing along for the time being, until Scarlett was put down for good. He still felt a bit of silliness spark however, "Who's ready to kick some flank?! Divine Fighters let's go!" he said with a backflip onto the path as he kept walking.

Red watched Tyra and Caliber tripping, a smile spreading on her face. It grew to something of a beam as Ice Blizzard laughed.

 

Finally back to normal... I'm not sure if anyone could've stood him being quiet for much longer, she thought, walking behind with Ticktock and Caramel.

 

"Let's catch up," she said, mostly to Caramel, and trotted quickly after the group.

As our heroes had there litle fun,they scremed and run around all this strange plants.Plants started to glow as never before,they started to get biger and on one moment they exploded,and relesed dark blu clound in air.The coulds gone up,fest and they looked like thet green some they seen yester.But unlike it,this smoke stayed in the sky and on this day,with no clouds on sky it could be seen from almost evrywhere in Hayseed forest.

caliber tensed up, and drew his sword. he was holding his breath, when he saw the plants let out those fumes. 

 

he wondered if now was a good time to attack...he looked at tyra. "should we attack, cap'n?" he asked, letting a little air out.

Blizzard looked at the plants, and grew a smug smirk. He was ready for anything, as usual, "Axe girl, what's the move? DO we fight? Or do we fight?" he asked wittily. He was completely aware that Tyra wouldn't say they shouldn't fight unless it was a major thing, and this wasn't all that major.

Tyra tensed up as the green gas was let out of the plants. She looked around, with Ice and Caliber asking her for their next move.

 

They could stay and fight, but this gas could be deadly. They must have reacted to something they did.

"We do not night the plants," she decided, "We must find a way around the gas!"

Blizzard nodded when Tyra gave her orders. But what he didn't know, was what exactly they were going to do, "Ok axe girl. But what exactly is the plan? Like how exactly do we avoid the gas without breathing it in?" he asked, somewhat nervous. Due not knowing what to do.

caliber, on the other hand, had merely undid his cape, and tied it around his mouth like a scarf. "simple." he said, voice muffled by the cape. "as for the rest of y'all...eh, i got nothing."

 

"now...where to?" he asked, once again. "c'mon now, tyra, your the boss here."

 

he raised his sword. "i could fight them, you know. i have a way to combat the fumes!" he chuckled a little.

"Um, let me think," Tyra muttered, tapping her hoof against her temple, "If we could walk through it without breathing, or find some way to fan it away, or...?"

 

She perked up as Caliber mentioned he could fight off the fumes.

"You can?" She asked, hopping back onto her hooves, "How can you do that?"

"aren't fumes flammable? that, or doesn't intense heat use up all the air?" caliber asked, "cause i got the firepower!"

 

he raised his sword, which burst into flames. the air around it shimmered, as it usually does. "i could probably bat away the fumes using fire. that should work, right?"

 

"that, and i have a crudely shaped gas-mask. aka cloak." he added.

Blizzard got behind Caliber when he made the sword flare up. He figured he must've had some kind of idea, and looked around, "What? You plan to just swing your sword at the gas like a flyswatter at flies? Good plan, let's go guys!" he said as  he tried to hold his breath.
