Red shook herself off, nodding at the order agents.

 

"Make sure these djinn don't die," Red said, "if you kill them, there will be issues later." She glanced around at her team, avoiding looking at Caliber.

 

"Let's continue," Red said, "that was a good fight-- no deaths, thank goodness. Good job, guys." She turned away and walked out of the room, into the next hallway.

Tyra nodded to the agents. "Aye, what Red said, make sure these Djinn are okay."

 

She smiled to Red with a nod. "Good job to you too, friend. It was an exciting bout!"

Blizzard happily plodded alongside her owner, who patted her side.

"Aye, you did good too," She praised her wolf, then looked to the rest of her group, "We all did."

 

She hoped Caliber was okay, though...

Ticktock nodded at Red and followed her but then he suddenly froze and clutched his head and began to make sounds of excruciating pain "Ahhhhh! My head why does it hurt so much ahhh!"

 

Meanwhile in Ticktock's Dark's plan was coming real "Ha! yes almost there just a matter of minuets and then I am free to kill them all. Muhahahahahahaha"

"Great time for a migraine, bud," Caramel said drily to Ticktock. "As my grandma used to tell me, 'Oh no. You have a headache. Here, have some cake'. Because, obviously..." Caramel trailed off as she saw that Ticktock really was in a bad state. "Hey, you alright clockpony?" she asked him, poking him with her hoof.

Blizzard began to walk ahead of his team, and stopped, "Well, are we just gonna stay sitting on our flanks? Or are we gonna start moving forward? Come on, who's ready? I'm ready! Let's move!" he said excitedly as he jumped in the air, and landed. "Now who's with me on this?!"

"Ice," Red said, glancing at him, "wait. There's something up with Ticktock."

 

Could it be? Was it that... 'dark' that had taken possession of him before?

 

"Tick, what's happening to you?" Red muttered, leaning beside him, watching him writhe in pain. "Dark, is that you? If it is, leave Ticktock alone."

Ticktock's head ache suddenly ended but then his horn began to glow on it's own "Well that was str- What the buck!" Magic started streaming out of Ticktock's horn and became a pony. The pony did a semi evil laugh before pacing up and down stretching his bat wings and then he came over to a horrified Ticktock "Well, well ,well Ticky boy looks like your time is up I would say it has been a pleasure... but it really hasn't." The ponies then made a sword appear from no where and slashed at Ticktock. However to both ponies surprise as the blade hit Ticktock it turned into shadow's and passed right through him making Ticktock laugh "Oh my goodness Dark after all that and you are still the way they trapped you Ha, ha ha ha" Dark then put on a pouty face "Shut Up!"

Caramel stared for a solid minute. She decided she'd been quiet too long. "What the buck?" Though it was formed in a question, her tone made it clear that it was a statement. She trotted over to Dark fearlessly. "Hello there, friend," she said cautiously. She remembered what Red had said, and Ticktock addressing the pony. "Er. Dark. Hi, nice to meet you. Your mother had a little too much cider when she gave you that name? By the way, were you inside Ticktock? Does that mean he was pregnant? Tartarus." she realized. "Poor boy," she added sympathetically to Ticktock. "You know, I heard a story like that once--well, a myth. You know, fully grown pony god coming out of main pony god's head. It was really weird. I guess it goes to show, buck gender and all that. Who believes in fate, you know?" she asked in a pondering voice. "I mean, we might as well just scrub off our cutie marks. You know, I'm going to do that. We're all equal, after all. I mean, we're not, but maybe we should be. Maybe there shouldn't be different genders. Like, really, I'm confused--if I had sex with you," she said to Ticktock, "hypothetically speaking, would you get pregnant afterwards, or would I?" she shook her head, and looked to Dark. "I know it's probably hard, you unusual pony," she said, sympathetically. "One of my older brothers had a bit of an issue like you. But, don't be too rebellious. He's your mom. Er, dad. Remember that. Family's important."

 

With that note, she turned away, surprised at the depth of her speech. "Well then, everypony," she said gravely. "After we take care of this, I'm on a new mission to discover the equality in all of us."

 

(What the heck did I just write? I'm sorry, guys. o.o)

Ticktock and Dark both stood there while Caramel was talking and both's jaws had dropped then they started to look back and forth to each other before addressing everyone else in unison "Can somepony explain this to her please as well as explain to us what the buck she just said?"

Blizzard rolled his eyes at the sight of Dark, "She's new Dark, get off her back. Now, as far as what's going on right here, and now, I don't know who in the hell you think you are, but it sure as hell ain't important. So do yourself a favor Dark, and step your unimportant ass out of our way. Thank you very much."

As Blizzard made a remark about Dark's importance Dark's eye flinched and was about to say something when Ticktock hastily stepped in "Well Blizzard that whole importance complex Dark has is probably because for one he was once a rule of a far away land and for a short while he was able to beat the princesses and take over Equestria."

Tyra scowled as this 'Dark' had made his return. She did not like him the first time they met, and she still did not like him now.

 

"Listen well, evil spectre," She warned, stepping up to the unicorn, "I do not trust you, especially for your taking residence inside of an ally. Whatever business you have here, if it involves hurting anypony, we will destroy you."

 

She quickly added, "With Ticktock, of course."

Dark laughed "I am no spectre I was an average evil pony until I was imprisoned in a crystal by mire mortals one of which being you ancestor...oh what was his name ah that's it Helvard Shatterhoof so to put things simply yes I am here to hurt ponies and trust me for what your family has done to me i will make you suffer most of all!"

"Oh. Not nice." Caramel noted. "Err... So, you weren't pregnant," she said to Ticktock, frowning as she attempted to understand the situation. "You were just... a jinchuuriki." She shook herself at Dark's threat to Tyra. She needed to be serious, clearly. "Hey. Cool it," she said sharply to Dark. "Nopony's hurting Tyra. Especially you, Darky." She edged closer to Ticktock. "Hey, what was that about him beating the princesses?" she added in a lower voice, abruptly worried for her safety.

Dark's eye flinched at being called Darky and immediately turned to Caramel "My name is Oblivion Darkness not I repeat NOT Darky!" Ticktock then replied to Caramel "Well you see over one thousand years ago Dark was the ruler of a kingdom on another continent however not being happy just ruling a part of the world with an iron hoof he turned his sights to Equestria in the aim of becoming so powerful he could take over the world and for a short time he succeeded until he was stopped by a group of ponies one of which being Tyra's ancestor. He was imprisoned in a crystal until one day I find him he then infects my head and makes me wish I was and earth pony."

Blizzard was laughing very hard at what Caramel had said, "Pregnant?! Haha! Good one Caramel. But seriously. Dark, I'm gonna give you a simple layout of how this is happening. We have an objective to complete. You are impeding our progress. Get out of our way, before you get in trouble. Get me?"

Caramel felt a stab of... fear upon Dark's rounding on her, as his very presence seemed to... well, it seemed to darken. Really, when was the last time she'd felt scared hearing someone talk to her?

 

She blinked at Ticktock's explanation, and gasped loudly upon his claim of wishing he were an earth pony. "No..!"  she whispered, awed. Mostly for dramatic effect. She no longer felt too bad about being scared of Dark. Hey, that one was pretty good, actually. She nodded at Icy's praise, and when he finished talking to Dark, nodded again in agreement and couldn't resist her quip. "Hey, so, you don't seem too scared of the Dark," she said to Ice. She couldn't help snickering a little, then stopped. "Sorry, sorry." She added, "Couldn't resist. Hey, maybe he can help us?" she said hopefully, and turned to Dark. "Instead of going for revenge, you can help us, you know."

Tyra scowled even harder at the mention of Helvard Shatterhoof. Indeed, that was the name of one of her ancestors from long ago. About one thousand years ago, if she remembered her father's story of him correctly.

 

"You will not make anypony suffer, demon," she snarled, stepping forward again, "if you even attempt to, I will make sure you suffer a hundred times more than the torture you have delivered our friend."

"i say we kill him, and be done with it." caliber said suddenly. "he's a potential threat. of course, y'all are welcome to what what y'all will...but i will say that if i became a threat, id want y'all to kill me before i did anything that would haunt me."

 

he shrugged. "but then again...im not ticktock. and im certainly not going to kill another pony today."

Dark's eye twitched "I am not some common threat which can be beaten so easily it took more than the Elements of frisking Harmony to take me out I am the dark lord I strike fear into the hearts of ponies like you friend Caramel here yep that's right I can feel it and as long as you my dear are still scared then I will gain power until the point when I can kill you all!"

caliber had almost been in a sleepy state for a long time. his eyes were half closed, he spoke in a slurred tone, he dragged his hooves...classic 'i just got out of bed' behavior.

 

but then dark said 'i can kill you all' and everything changed.

 

"yeah, no."

 

his sword was out, and he was storming towards dark. there was a cold hard look in his eyes, and a murderous air to him.

As Caliber slashed at Dark the blade went right through him "Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the rules that keep me from killing you all also stop you from killing me so it seems like I am untouchable there is only one way you can get rid of me and I am not telling it to you."

Tyra quickly brought out her axe, and clashed it on Caliber's sword to halt him.

 

"Nay," she said warningly, "no allies of ours shall be hurt this day. Ticktock is bound to this creature, and if we destroy it, who knows what will happen to him."

 

She looked to Ticktock. "We will deal with this creature, for now. If what it says is true, it will do no harm to us now."

Blizzard charged himself up, and when he was ready, he took a stance, "Well then, I guess we should see what happens eh?" Blizzard had already considered multiple different ways this situation could go for him if Dark attacked, "Ready when you are, you evil scrublord...."
