Shadow remembers hearing "What are you doing here?" as he was running to Lady Eyespot's room before it all went black, somepony in the hall had opened a door right into his face. He had crumpled to the floor knocked out and unaware of the events unfolding around him.

 

He staggers awake and sees the mess around him "What in Celestia's name went on here?" he mumbles as he rubs his still aching face.

 

He picks up the baseball bat that had fallen to the ground and then hears noises coming from the stairwell nearby. He rushes to the door and hears a commotion, he quickly descends the stairs stopping at the third floor. The noise was emanating from here, he opened the door and braced himself for whatever he might find.

((That HO pony who just came down... was he the one in my apartment? If so, the door must be wide open...))

 

Suddenly, the HO pony accused Lovely of being infected, came at her with a knife, and ended up dying in a failed attempt. As the firefighter from downstairs came by and everyone was strategizing on what to do, I noticed the water can I threw down the hall earlier. I took out the

knife in the HO's chest by the handle in one hoof, opened up the water can lid and dipped the knife inside to clean it.

 

"Ill go with you Lovely, but first, I need to get some supplies from my apartment. Anypony want to come with?"

Lovely turned to the other ponies, "you guys handle the situation here, and with haste!" Lovely turned to Lab Brag, "let's go, I'm not much help here anyway, at least I can put my magic to use and dig up some supplies." She smiled at Lab brag cutely, as Lovely's smiles often went. She was trying to stay calm and bring positivity and logic to the group, but deep down she was terrified.

<p>George watched unvolonatirly as Lovely killed the other pony. That she was able to shrug it off like that felt a bit weird to him, but he didn't mention it. "Right, enter. I want everyone to check themselves though, and report any injuries." He then looked back at the HO. He had checked his watch earlier, as the HO started to twitch about 10 minutes had passed. "Now, it seems that it doesn't need blood to... live." To any outsider watching, he must seem insane. "Now listen here, ponies are saying you are dead, if you are not tell me what is two times two." George was checking if there was still any ponydom in him. As he got no answer at first he repeated his question, "Tell me, two times two... I got a weapon, and if all this is true, you are dangerous and I will not stop myself from using it." He still did not get an answer. He  frowned as the pony tried to stand up, George would quickly advance and give it a heavy hit into the front legs, hoping to break ( Wait, if the HO is a played character disregard the part about him, didn't take that into consideration

The HO opened his left eye. It was colorless and dead. He stood up and shrieked. With unnatural speed he shambled down the hallway, out of view.

Lucas Wakes in a room pitch black "Where the hell am i?" He looks around the room unable to see...what was the last thing he remebers The Unicorns that was it...then everything else was a blurr.. he thinks where am i?...Where is Dusk!!? he then Shouts "DUSK!!?....DUSK WHERE ARE YOU!!?" he Begins to panick he has lost his little brother Damn it damn it this cant be happening he then see's the door Wooden he could brake through it, He ready's himself and charges through the door into a hall way with out looking runs down the corridor towards the stairs.

In that same Corridor the monster that was once the HO scaled the hallways walls and waited in a nook inbetween a door and a wall, where he waited. Mindlessly awaiting a fresh kill. The only thing it wanted was to kill.

Lionheart was clearly not very certain on what was going on. And when everypony went up after the doctor he wasn't sure why. Lionheart despite that decided to stay on the hall incase something happened and they opened the door.

 

Then it hit im that he was there with 2 infected fire-fighteres and quickly changed his mind and he quickly galloped upstairs to find the others.

The monster that was once the HO heard the sound of Lionheart galloping up the stairs. Blood was the only thing it could think of. It jumped out and stalked her up the stairs, staying in the shadows.

Lionheart suddenly stopped. Being a detective for most of his live had made him keen to hearing noises and this time was no exception. He heard something behind him. Without losing a moment he raises a protective barrier around his body. It was like a thin grey layer that surrounded his body to protect him from meele attacks in case something tried to bite him.

 

With that taken care off he continues walking upstairs since he didn't truly knew where the thing was hiding and now wasn't the time ti stand and search.

 

Upon reaching the others he swiftly said. "i believe the safest place to go would be at the roof of the building. We can barricade the door to it then and defend the spot. Plus if thing go out of hand we can always try to....jump to a nearby roof and escape." Lionheart wasn't exactly sure if this plan was a good on or even plausible but it was the best he could think of at the moment.

The Health Officer was completely unaware of Lionheart's forcefield. Blood! He jumped from the shadows and latched onto his back. He tried to bite him on the neck with no success. He struggled to keep him down. His next attempt was to bite her forehead. No skin was broken, and two of his teeth fell out. His blood pooled from his mouth to Lionheart's eyes.

Lovely gasped as the seemingly dead Heath Official reanimated and charged off, she was thankful it wasn't at her this time. Lovely sighed and and followed Lab Brag up to his room, "at least we know where every pony is... I think." Lovely was worried.

The HO began to beat at lionheart to try and brak her barrier. Blood! More of his own blood dripped from his mouth to his face.

Lionheart raised his gun with magic and started shooting at the health officer. "Damn I should have look around* He said out loud as he run toward the nearby room and closed the door behind him. (Lucky I put that barrier) He thought as he barriceaded the door with stuff and yet another barrier.

The HO got back up. With three bullet wounds and a stab wound it just got back up! He shambled to the door and began to scratch and crawl at the door, blood oozing from his mouth.

As Lucas dashed down the hall he tripped, he got up go to his feet to see the corpse of a small filly and a trail of blood leading into an open apartment.

 

12:20am.

 

Lionheart shot at the infected HO. He shot three times, leaving only four bullets left in the gun. Two of the bullets hit the infect HO in the legs, the shots were enough to get the infected HO off him and cause the infected HO to leave the hall 3. The other bullet Lionheart shot hit Shadow Chaser in the elbow as he entered the hall.

 

12:21am.

 

All the healthy ponies hear screeching coming from above them. The bitten fire-fighter looks terrified, "can I come take refugee here?" He asked George Gray.

I barely kept myself from staring into Lovely's cute eyes when she did that look ,but I quickly put things into focus. "Right, so, wherever we are going to hold up, we're gonna need food, water, weapons, materials for barricades, and medical supplies. I'll supply the food and water. As for weapons, we already have a few ,but we'll need at least 1 for every pony to keep themselves safe. I have meagar medical supplies ,but since George is a doctor i'm pretty sure he has a lot in his apartment. Barricades... every pony is going to have to chip in on that one. We also need to pick a safe place to stay in," I said as we trotted up the stairs all the way to 5B. Surely enough, the door was wide open. I locked it and ran all the way to my closet. "Start stuffing all the food and water bottles you can find into your saddlebags, while I go grab some stuff from my closet." *GUNSHOTS* "What in Luna's name was that?"

Lovely walked into Lab brag's apartment as he quickly locked it behind her. She was slightly embarrassed being alone with a stallion in his apartment. "I guess you've got me back to your place," she nervously teased. Lab brag ran off to get supplies as Lovely looked around. Everything was much cleaner than she expected. The room had a slight alcohol smell, but it was probably just medicine. Lovely picked up some dusty saddlebags and went into the kitchen and started gathering foods and water, disposing of the expired food. "So you're a doctor-" Lovely's question was interrupted by gunshots.

"What in Luna's name was that?" Lab brag shouted form the other room. "it seems the HO woke-up from his nap," Lovely replied nervously, "I hope everypony is alright." She whispered to herself.

Lucas Looks at the Filly "What The-?" Realising its a filly he backs away noticing the blood trail maybe somepony is hurt "Hello!? Anyone in there?" He walks towards the door and knocks loud "Anyone!?"

Ampyrion charged up the stairs, whirling around, slightly lost as the others somehow vanished. Crap, how'd I lose them so quickly? He stared disheartendely at the dismal red walls of the hotel, trying to mentally deduce where the others had gone-it didn't quite work. "Hey! Where'd you all go?" he yelled out, hoping to catch someone's attention. When no one responded, he sighed and sagged to the ground. This turn of events was way too much for him. He would've stayed in that position for a long time, but the crack of a gun startled him, causing him to leap to his hooves in his haste. Gunshots? That means survivors-the others, most likely. He decided to follow the sound of the gunshot, holding his axe out in fron tof him like always.

The HO sat in the stairwell leading to 3 hall. He was licking his right hoof. There was blood on his right hoof. It wasn't his blood. It was good blood, living blood, not his blood. He wanted more. He turned to the sound of footsteps. More blood! Ampyrion was walking up the stairs to room 3B. He has good blood! The HO jumped into the shadows and waited. He jumped quite clumsily with the bullets in his legs and landed with a *THUD*

Ampyrion blinked, startled, as he heard a thumping noise from just ahead of him. "Hello...?" He waited cautiously, his axe still held out in front of him. "Anyone there? You alive...?" He wasn't sure if there were more zombies or not, but it was best not to take any chances. He waited for an answer, his horn giving off a slight icy mist in his nervousness.

It's 12:28am.

 

Lucas follows the path of blood up to the dark apartment. He reads "2B" on the door. He approaches the apartment and hears the faint sound of moaning. Lucas calls out and the moaning stops, he hears some quick thumps and screeching.

A diseased-looking pony throws himself at him. Blood splashed all over his face.

The Health Officer saw the faint glow on Ampyrion's horn. It reminded him of the magic that Lionheart used. Magic is bad. But then he remembered Lionheart's blood. Blood is good. He jumped from atop the stairs above Ampyrion. In his freefall, he hit his left leg on a guard rail. The leg snapped in half; it was attached only by skin. He slightly missed his target and landed in front of Ampyrion. He started to crawl on his belly toward Ampyrion's hoofs.

"We better hurry. I haven't had a face-off with an infected pony yet and I don't plan to." I said in urgency. I rummaged through my closet when I found a hammer and a nail gun. Using my magic, I opened the barrel of the nail gun and loaded it up with a couple of needles I found in my tool box. I put the rest of the nails in a small plastic bag and put it into my saddlebag. The knife I got from earlier was still there. I gave Lovely the hammer, "Here, I want you to be able to protect yourself," I said, blushing. I wonder just what was on her mind right now. She's not even sure that she can trust me yet and I locked myself in here with her, despite it being for protection... Then there's that smell coming from my room... I drink too much cider when I'm working in my lab.

 

"Oh... and about what you asked earlier," I said as I was leading Lovely to the room adjacent to my bedroom. I opened the door to reveal a large, spacious room with several test tube racks on either side of the wall, filing cabinets on the floor, storing cabinets on the wall, three computers lined up on a massive desk with a rolling chair, a larger table with a sink connected to it in the middle of the room where I did my experiments, and a small wine rack in a small corner of the room. "I'm not a doctor ,but I do dabble in the sciences. Of course, its not a proper lab ,but I did make some arrangements with the land pony of the building for my special needs."
