was the wait and hype worth it for season 5

I'll be honest... I cared less and less about the Premiere with every Promo I watched. I mean they spoiled Twilight getting her Cutie Mark back, Glimmer running away and some other Ponies having theirs back

I gladly stepped off of the Hype Train at the season five station. I thought the wait well worth it. The story was rather dark and ominous. I think it was very well written. One thing that surprised me. Rarity called Pinkie "Miss Pie". For some reason that struck me as rather strange.

I absolutely loved that line.  It's like the rare times when they called Kramer "Cosmo".  I don't know why, but it's just...idk, I just love it and can't explain it.

 

As a general rule, I don't care for "hype".  Hype usually annoys me.  Most things are usually over-hyped.  But I've been very excited about the premiere, it was well worth the wait, it was better than I hoped, I loved it, I think the show is as strong as ever, and I can't wait to see what they do next.

Can't really say since we have only seen the first two episodes of it. I will say that I am more excited for this season than I have been for every other season so far.

Personally, I think the hype was well worth it. This episode was fantastic, not flawless but very unique and not like any other premiere we've seen yet. No Deus Ex problem solver, no "what about the other princesses?" moment, and the day was saved by all of the village ponies just as much as our usual heroes. I could write a whole lot about this two-parter but I suppose that would be better posted somewhere else 

 

I'll just say that I for one am looking forward to what the rest of the season has to offer.

I think it was well worth it. I don't like the song in this episode quite as much. Probably because it is so creepy and horrific that I have a hard time listening to it repeatedly like all the others.

I was smiling the entire time. It has been a long time since a show has done that. If I wasn't so new I bet the long hiatus would bother me but not enough to stop the hype.
