I wasn't really involved beyond casual interest until a member of an RP I was in introduced me to Fallout Equestria at which point I was hooked. That was 3 years ago and I've been a brony ever since. ^C ^V ================================================================================= About Me Occupation and Location I am a full-time student living in Seattle trying to get into the Computer Science or Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences majors. I have an internship over the summer for back-end software development and the rest of the time I work on a programming language I've been making for the past two and a half years. (If interested, feel free to ask about it but be prepared for a torrent of information) Interests and Activities As stated above I spend a lot of time programming, but I also: play guitar (Agile septor elite 727, ESP KH202, Ovation) and write songs; run, bike, and sword fight (kendo, german longsword fencing); participate in fandoms (officer in my school's MLP club, member of Time Lords United); cook everything and anything; watch too much anime; and play too many games *cough*BLASPHEMY*cough* Music I like almost everything except country, chiptunes, and songs with little lyrical content (screamo I can't understand or songs that repeat the same lines over and over). At the time of writing, the 20 most listened to bands on my computer are (in no particular order): Trivium, Insomnium, Vinyl Scratch, Carbon Maestro, Tool, Chevelle, Nine Inch Nails, Yelling at Cats (now Phovea), Rise Against, Disturbed (specifically the Believe soundtrack), Coheed and Cambria, DropkickProductionTx (now Velopod), Among the Herd, Canapplejack, Metalcorepony, On the Last Day, Dream Theater, Muse, Linkin Park, and Blue Scholars. Books and Authors (Includes fanfic) Authors: Brent Weeks, Robin Hobb, Robert Jordan, Karen Miller, Robert Heinlein, Douglas Adams, Brandon Sanderson, JRR Tolkien, Orson Scott Card, Terry Pratchet, KKat, Somber, and Piers Anthony. Specific Stories not from mentioned authors: Canterlot Burglar, Playing With My Heart, Asylum, Words from Out Hearts, Exit Through Canterlot, Lines and Webs, An Escort's Journal, Inner Glory, Background Pony, Letters from a Friend at the End of the World, and Split Second ================================================================================= Feel free to ask me anything!
