Princess Luna and the CMC?

 

So now each of the CMC have gotten a personal visit from Luna in their dreams to help them over come fears and teach them a life lesson or coming of age lesson but why? Yes we know Luna has a gift for dream walking and such and helps ponies but it seems these three little fillies are getting a more personal time with Luna than normal. So why?

 

Could Luna be starting in mentoring these three? Does she know or have plans for them? Given her sister became a mentor/teacher/friend to Twilight and she ended up being a Alicorn in example. Are we looking at Luna's own personal students in the making of a next gen?

 

Who knows? Any thoughts or feed back?

I would say it's because Luna helps children. By the time one is an adult, one's fears are (hopefully) overcome. However, I prefer your headcannon. =3 A g4 hint at g5 would be so cool!!

It's a good way to give Luna some show appearances. Since she's not a mentor to Twilight like her sister, the writers needed a way to give her some screen time, so they gave her the power to help ponies by appearing in their dreams. And it was a brilliant idea if you ask me.

I rather like that Luna appears in dreams especially Apple Bloom's Scootaloo's and Sweetie Belle's. She has good lessons and morals to offer them when they need help most and I look forward to seeing her more this season, but hopefully shown more than she was.

I personally doubt it's as complex as all that.  I think that helping youngsters is just part of her thing that she does.  I bet she helps countless others that we just don't see.  She probably does a dozen dreams a night.

I think she monitors the dreams of ponies, and clearly she saw the CMC's nightmares and wanted to lend a hoof to guide them in the right direction. I doubt there's some big master plan involved.

 

But if Luna sees dreams, I bet she's seen a thing or two  :comeatus:

I think it's only to show the younger audience that they have to overcome their fears and their nightmares etc.

Luna was the perfect character for that.

I think the CMC are not the only ones who get these visits from Princess Luna.

 

Or, Luna has a plan for these three like Celestia had for Twilight. Maybe Luna sees something special in the CMC and is guiding them from a young age to groom them to become the new protectors of peace in Equestria.

I think it is safe to say that Luna visits the dreams of more ponies other than the CMC; it just so happens that the CMC are major characters in the show. We likely won't get episodes of Luna's visiting the dreams of Diamond Tiara...actually...I'd love to see that. XD
