Headcanons Proven Correct?

We all have our headcanons, and I of course am no exception to that. I have... so many. And with that, I'm used to the hair-trigger disappointment that comes whenever a part of my headcanon is proven wrong. However, it's a rare treat for me to see my headcanon actually proven right for a change. It's rare, it's only happened three times that I can currently recall.

 

The first time it happened, was the semi-confirmed deaths of Applejack's parents. We all knew it, and we also knew that it would never be truly addressed on the show. However, the allusion that was given in Apple Family Reunion was enough.

 

The second time it happened was perhaps the most predictable with the rainbow keys arc of season 4. It was so predictable that I was able to state, nearly verbatim I might add, how they would obtain and unlock their keys, even to the point of I knew that Twilight would be the last to get hers, and that was all immediately after Rarity Takes Manehattan.

 

The third one is the one I'm most proud of. Right when The Crystal Empire aired, I knew that Sombra had assassinated the Crystal Empire's ruler; especially since the book Twilight was reading about the Crystal Faire mentioned the Empire's first Queen, establishing an actual lineage in contrast to Equestria proper. Now, as another headcanon that deals with death, I figured it would never be addressed in any way, shape or form save perhaps for some kind of small allusion like we got for Applejack's parents. I never, ever even dreamed that we'd explicitly be shown Princess Amore's murder.

 

Like I said, it's a rare treat for me to see my headcanon's be proven correct, so I present the question: have any of you had headcanons that made it into true canon?
