As many members have noticed, the server has slowed almost to a complete stop. if this isn't a DDoS, then what is it? I'm curious now.

The site was in fact DDosed. Poniverse status confirmed it. I thought the site had safeguards in effect to prevent it.

The site had safeguards for certain types of ddos attacks. It is not possible to make the site immune to DDOS attacks.
