I remember after being shown a Zelda game for the first time, I believe it was Minish Cap? A friend had it and let me lend it while he went on holiday and I loved everything about it. The adventure and what seemed at the time like a huge world, the music, it was all something I was a fan of but had somehow never heard of it until then.

When I was telling my parents about the game, they went out and bought me Wind Waker for the gamecube which I'd also never heard of until then, and it was like everything from Minish Cap was taken and made 10 times better, as well as being on a TV screen instead of a small handheld one. It was also one of the first games I beat as a kid without help from friends or family so yeah, Wind Waker gets my vote
