Best and worst CMC/Luna dreamsode?

With the CMC/Luna dream trilogy now complete, which do you think was the best one and worst one? My least favorite was Bloom and Gloom. Why? Because, for being the trilogy finale, Luna was barely present at all.

Best: Bloom and Gloom

Worst: Sleepless in Ponyville

I liked both Bloom and Gloom and For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils.  Sleepless in Ponyville is one of my least favorite episodes of the show, can't really explain it, I just hate it.

For me

1) For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils

1) Sleepless in Ponyville

1) Bloom and Gloom

Yeah three way tie.  I like them all, the Sweetie Belle one for the Christmas Carol plot, Scootaloo's for the sisterly bonding, and Apple Blooms for the Inception stuff.

Best - Sleepless in Ponyville

Very Close Second - For Whom the Sweetie Belle Tolls

Distant Third - Gloom and Bloom

I like them all, but seeing Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle creating/improving their relationships with their sisters is more interesting than another Applebloom episode about Cutie marks

I'll say this; I will not be using the term 'worst' as that is a negative connotation on an episode that is still very good. It's like Star Wars: every good trilogy will still have it's Return of the Jedi. :)

That said:

1. As the Sweetie Bell Toils

2. Sleepless in Ponyville

3. Bloom and Gloom

Again, keep in mind that I think Bloom and Gloom is really good; just not on the calibur of the other two.

  1. Bloom And Gloom
  2. Sleepless In Ponyville
  3. For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils

I think they're all good except for Sweetie Belle Toils, being an episode who falls under the "Not Bad" category

1) Bloom and Gloom

2) Sleepless in Ponyville

Both of these episodes I consider to be good enough to sell the show to a non fan. They're both that ridiculously good.

3) For Whom the Sweetie Belle Tolls

Grew on me a bit, but still doesn't rank very high.

From greatest to least:

1)For Whom the Sweetie Bell Tolls

2)Sleepless in Ponyville

3)Bloom and Gloom

I liked how the first two was about Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo solving their problems with their role models. I didn't particularly like Bloom and Gloom because the episode was dragged out and repitive, plus it didn't focus on Applebloom's relationship with Applejack.

My favorite is Sleepless and Ponyville and my least favorite is For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils.

All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.

Just because you don't like it doesn't make it bad. Quality-wise, Sleepless in Ponyville is an objectively good episode full of plenty of great writing and several great moments.

As such, the best dreamsode (and best S3 episode) is easily Sleepless in Ponyville. There are so many fantastic moments. Scootaloo is extremely in character. The other CMCs were great, and so were AJ and Rarity. Luna's role as Princess of the Night expanded into looking into dreams and helping others, here Scoots.

Dash, however, really stole the show here with some of her best characterization. She was calm, cocky, firm, but also very comforting when Scootaloo felt very vulnerable. The moment where both Dash and Scootaloo formed a very tight, sisterly bond at the end really showed the growth for both their characters. A top-ten episode for sure.

The worst is a coin-toss, but from a personal entertainment perspective, Bloom & Gloom. The problem is the three-strikes format. The Rule of Thirds makes the entire dream sequence behave like a virtual checklist. However, like the other two, this one is great, too. It may be high on my list for being entertaining, but it addresses Apple Bloom's fears very realistically.

I'm sorry, but there were a lot of problems with Sleepless in Ponyville imo. Not going to go over it here, as I don't want to start a debate, but ye.

Favortie, Sleepless in Ponyville. So much I loved about the episode, but I'll say Dark Qiviut nailed it on the head why.

Least favorite, Bloom and Gloom. Still a good one, but Apple Bloom isn't really that interesting of a character to me.

Princess Luna learns how did the CMC got their worst dream in these three episodes I saw? I'm seeking that the nightmare dreams come true in the best episode "Sleepless in Ponyville".

1. From Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils (I liked how she interacted with Sweetie during the whole Dream and not just at the End and she even appeared in real Life... I mean outside of a Dream)

2. Sleepless in Ponyville (just the first of the Dream-Episodes... nothing bad to say about it)

3. Bloom and Gloom (I don't like the "It was all just a Dream"-Plot and Dreams within a Dream. And this Episode had that one Scene in the Promo I was most looking forward to see wasted)

1. For Whom The Sweetie Belle Toils - I found the dream sequence in this one really intriguing. I kinda liked how Luna motivated Sweetie Belle with... well... fear? Rating 9.5/10

2. Bloom and Gloom - I have put this second because it was very entertaining. Not necessarily good, but entertaining. Rating 7.5/10

3. Sleepless In Ponyville - I like this episode, but it is just my least favourite of the three. Rating 7/10

None of these episodes were bad, and For Whom The Sweetie Belle Toils has become one of my all time favourite episodes. The other two were good.

In order: Sleepless In Ponyville, Bloom and Gloom, For Whom The Sweetie Belle Toils. I liked Scootaloo's episode the most because it dealt with fear and image. I think that's a very real issue and I was really happy at how it resolved! I like Bloom and Gloom mostly for the cute little twittermites. (Am I the only one that thinks they're cute?) I didn't really like Sweetie's episode because she turned malicious for a little while - it did resolve but I still prefer the others.  :)
