Skylar watched the alicorn for a moment longer then shrugged, turning back to Lightning. She smirked. "Well, I dunno. But I was one of the three fastest flyers at my old school!" Skylar boasted, thumping a hoof on her chest and spreading her gargantuan wings, "but you look pretty fast. So I'm just racing you for fun." She grinned. "But if you beat me, you can color me impressed!"

"then is gonna be a really fun race" she said, smiling. "How about we go up and meet the alicorn?" She said, starting to walk up to the front of the class. "Hi there" she said to the alicorn, "my name is Lightning Strike" she said, holding out her hoof, "who are you?" She asked her

"And I'm Skylar," Skylar said, grinning, "pleasure to meet you. Nice set of wings you got. Lightning and I were going to race after class ended. Wanna come? The track is really nice." Normally, Skylar wasn't quite as friendly as she was now, but she felt as though she'd found a good friend in Lightning and, heck, she was talking to an alicorn! How cool was that!

He ignored the last pony, an Alicorn of some sort. Always the rich kids.

He grabbed his board, he wasn't really sure if he was allowed to have it back but he couldn't care less. He threw his board on the ground and shredded off down the halls. He broke out of the building and ollied the front steps. He found a spot in the shade, on the grass where he could be in peace. He got his torn bag and searched through it. 

He found an old mushy apple. He sighed. He munched and grimaced at the bad taste. He kept chewing and looked up at the trees. He thought,

'I don't want to steal from another pony here, snob or not. I guess I'll find something on the way home.' He emphasised the word home sarcastically.

Jackie Trade paused in talking to Sunshine to watch Lightning run off with the board. She scratched her chin with a hoof and shrugged. She knew exactly how to deal with him tomorrow. She returned to speaking to Sunshine, asking her once again if she was okay.

Aurora looks to the teach and the Sunshine. "Miss Trade, will she be ok? Her mana flow is erratic. It flows sadly."

 

Aurora comes over curious and says to Sunshine, "Hello, My name is Quantum Aurora. You are a unique being. Want to talk later?"

 

Aurora waits for Sunshine to respond.

@@Little Red "so skateboard pony thinks he could beat both of us in a race" "how about we prove him wrong, invite him into the race" she cringed at the last thing she said "and if he loses, he leaves both of us alone, because I can't stand him" she said, starting to fly out of the class onto the track. Aurora can now tell why her flow is the way it is. She says, "How about we become friends. I don't know any of the other students here and sometimes I get called wierd, for obvious reasons." She looks directly at Sunshine. Her snow white and silver mixed eyes looking a bit greyed out. She looks blind. She also has those prosthetic limbs and wings. Who knows if the wings even work.

Lightning strike dashed out to the track, stretching a little before she started, she thought to herself, 'should I tell the kid I'm really fast.....?...nah, I'll let it be a surprise' she continued stretching and waited for skylar to come, she thought to herself, 'I wonder if anypony will come to watch the race, because it's gonna BE AWESOME' she grinned at that last part

Jackie smiled and sat back, glad that her problem could be fixed so easily. Now, she could look forward to a free period. What to do, what to do... take a nap? Work on some projects? Hit on the school nurse? Yeah, the last one. As soon as the bell rang and the students cleared out, Jackie locked the door behind her and made her way to the school nurse. She wasn't sure if she was there, but here's to hoping.

Skylar rushed after Lightning, and appeared beside her on the track.

"Lemme stretch for a couple minutes," she said, grinning. She extended her wings and stretched them as far as she could. She couldn't help being very excited for racing Lightning. The idea of racing her newfound friend seemed great.

"Alright. So, do you think anypony will come to watch?" She asked excitedly. "And did you hear what skateboard pony said? He said he could beat both of us in a race, can you believe that? I don't think he would stand a chance against us". She continued stretching after she finished talking

Skylar shook herself off, straightening. "Eh," she said, dismissively. "He doesn't know anything." Though her innards were boiling at his comment. She wanted to prove him wrong so badly... "We'll find him later. You ready to start?" She lifted off the ground slightly, beginning to grin again.

"Totally!" She said, smiling really big. "Ok. Ready? Set? GO!" She took off, going so fast you could see her backtrail, which was a somewhat cerulean color with a yellow zig-zag going down the middle (ik I said this same thing the the other rp). She thought to herself 'Ha! Skateboard pony would be losing so badly right now'

Woah! Skylar thought at the sudden burst of speed. She grinned. Well, no point in dawdling! She spread her wings and zoomed after her. Flapping as hard as she could, she was catching up to Lightning. Her crimson mane flew behind her as she flapped wildly.

Lightning love flying this fast, she could get out energy and have fun. She noticed skylar behind her, she thought to herself, 'no use in picking up speed yet, I'll wait until she's getting really close to me' she turned her head around and said to skylar "You're not bad kid"

She grinned. "You're not so bad yourself. And..." she rushed past her. "Don't call me kid!" She called.

Though that sudden burst of speed made her tired. Her heart was pumping hard. Her wings were getting tired from the constant flapping.

She moved directly in front of Lightning to make it harder for her to pass her. They were only halfway across the giant track, though.

Lightning noticed this and though ' now's the time to speed up Lightning ' she went around skylar and picked up her speed, leaving skylar behind her again. Her mane flying straight out behind her, and her backtrail starting to become a little more solid, she thought to herself 'should I go aster to do my special move?....nah....I'm not going to do it intentionally..' (Pretend intentionally is italicized)

"Darnit!" Skylar grumbled. She flew even harder, panting. They were nearing the finish. She caught up to Lightning, but for the life of her could not pass her. Despite her frustration, Skylar was grinning broadly. She hadn't worked like this in awhile. And she hadn't expected a school full of rich ponies to have another pony just as fast, maybe faster than her.

LS noticed skylars frustration, she turned her head around and said to her "hey, don't get so mad skylar, it's just a race" "want me to slow down for ya?" She joked. Then turned her head back forward so she would stay on the track. "Maybe we can do this again sometime" she said as they neared the finish line

Skylar got mad for a moment, but then couldn't help being happy. It wasn't often she got a good race. She hadn't had such a workout in a while. This was fun, anyway.

She dashed back inside the school with skylar not far behind her, she slowed down and walked next to her, asking her, "so, what class do you have next?" "I think I have history next"

Aurora had watched the race. She hoped Sunshine was near her. She had to switch vision types to keep an 'eye?' on the racers.

 

Aurora then says, "Wow I have magitech class next. I can't wait to meet this teacher."

 

Aurora then looks to Sunshine, if she is there and says, "Want to hang out after school. I stay in the school dorms room 4. We could help eachother study."

"Sure, I'd like that. I think it's time for class, what class do you have next? I have History, I like history, it mentions me little bit but I always get teased about it, b/c other ponies think it's not really me the history books are talking about. Oh well, It's all good. see you latter!" Walks into the History class to see sonicdashie sitting @ one of the desks. "Hey! Great race out there today! Good job!"

 

Walks to the desk closest to the window in the far back left & sighs. 'One friend on the first day! way to go Sunshine! hopefully I can make more by the end of the day, if not that's okay too. I just got to learn to think positively I guess. Even if I am a far ways away from home, & family.'

"thanks" LS says as sunshine walks away. She notices that sunshine looks sad so she walks over to her, "everything ok?" She asks her. "You looked kind of sad during engineering class" she said, sitting down in the desk next to her and waiting patiently. "If you don't want to tell me, that's fine, it's up to you"
