Too much royal manners, and too little about her natural personality.

I think she proved to be a troll since Ticket Master. I bet she was actually watching the chaos in that episode which she caused by intentionally forgetting the other five (yes, I said five. ) tickets.

If Celestia has humor Twilight has (used to show) that sarcastic impatience. I hope they keep Celestia with her sense of humor and they bring back Twilight's sarcasm. But to answer the question I don't think she's a troll.

neither me. I never really liked "Tia" in the first place, because who gives a nickname based off the last part of someone's name? (it's usually the first part)

Though, admittedly, I don't care much for "Celly" as a nickname, either. Maybe it's just the fact that I dislike Celestia as a character, in general, and by extension, her nicknames.....=_=

IDK, I've heard she was the Element of Laughter & IMO she likes pranks (I do NOT & never did).  Still, IMO, that doesn't make her a troll.  Although, she does seem to have it in for the Gala.

Celestia needs her own episode, her and Luna. Could you imagine how utterly dull being around all those snooty noble ponies for over a thousand years  would be for the fun loving Celestia? No wonder she wants to have discord shake things up a bit.
