Alex nodded. "Thank you, I do try my best." She replied towards the compliment; though in her mind, she added a small '..sometimes.' to her response. There was a short pause after Radiant introduced himself. Staring at his never-changing, serious demeanor, the canine couldn't contain herself any longer. Laughing, she spoke again "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" She apologized between fits of giggles. "I just really can't keep all that serious, formal talk for long. It is nice ta meetcha Radiant Sentinel," She paused a moment to do a small curtsey, "But you really should lighten up a bit."

Radiant tilted his head slightly to the side as Alex begun laughing, supposedly at her own attempts to remain serious for an extended duration. His expression had the smallest hint of disappointment at alex when she laughed, he was rather taken by her proper introduction. 

 

"Sorry but that is something I can't do," he said turning toward Lunar and Tyra. "Many have tried to get me to 'lighten up' and all have failed."

 

Radiant begun walking back to the other two and glanced back at Alex. "you're welcome to join us if you like, Lunar is rather talented musician." He offered continuing to walk toward Lunar and Tyra.

 

Soon Radiant rejoined Lunar and Tyra, he sat on the ground near the two making sure to keep an eye on Alex when she approached to make sure no hostilities arose since not many ponies are accepting of diamond dogs.

"Aww, c'mon. Not even a liiiittle smile!?" She asked, frowning a bit as the stallion turned away from her. At the mention of joining him and his 'group', her smile returned. "Ooooh, you're with group!" She said eagerly. "Sure, I'll tag along for a bit." She said, trotting after him "Gives me a chance to get you to smile! There hasn't been a single pony or canine I haven't gotten a smile out of!" Alex stated with confidence. "Well... Except for that other time... And the time before that... And then the other couple of times... But they got what they deserved in the end. But aaanyways~" She paused a moment as she stepped into the building, glancing at Lunar and Tyra a moment before giving them small smile and a wave. "Hiya!" She greeted.

caliber shrugged. "i already said im in." he said, as he poked around his empty bowl. "are y'all gonna eat that?" he asked, pointing to the bowls he had given them. "did y'all already eat, or...?"

 

he was still hungry. but then again, he was always still hungry.

 

"i didnt poison the soup, if thats what your thinking..."

As Radiant sat in the dirt with his red scarf riding the occasional gust that swept by, he could tell Alex was enthusiastic about meeting the other two. He cleared his throat and looked back at Alex. "Alex this is Lunar and Tyra Shatterhoof, Tyra and Lunar this is Alex van gamer." He stated introducing everyone to avoid any racial slurs just in case. "Also we're not so much a group, we just happened to run into each other." 

 

Radiant previously being a member of the rebellion was use to many of those around him being pony extremist, they cared little for those of other races and would hardly give them a fair chance. So it had become habit for Radiant to attempt to keep any racist comments or hate between others to a minimum, he himself disapproved of racism and didn't think it should matter what one looks like on the outside.

About a few damaged houses away from Radiant's group a lone figure sat in what little shade was there. The figure is wearing a cloak to hide their features. "How long has it been, 6 weeks? I may need to eat 'that' soon. But nopony can know. It would make life more difficult. Those bandits surely weren't interesting enough. They had other things on their hearts." She says in barely a whisper.

 

She seems to be speaking quietly to herself, shuffling her hooves waiting for something.

 

She looks to the group in a manor that looks like she is looking past them deeper into town.

 

She mutters to herself, "Seven hearts true to self are near by. Those four are but four of them. Some even possess magic. It is odd to sense those with magic in their hearts."

((Heart Sense ability used. Currently disguised as a non descript unicorn female. Doesn't detect as changeling.))

[Commander Tangent 861]

Lunar nodded at tyra, giving an understanding smile. " The people of the north  are enduring and tough, surviving the worst of conditions on a daily basis. It is no wnder such a strong village survived. The nomads I travel with survived, I am sure. They have many places to stay, including older temples and even some of the ruins of the big cities." Lunar said, when there was a noise. He looked to investigate. He first saw chip, and gave him a nod.

 

To his surprise, next, there was a large diamond dog looking at them.Lunar gave it a warm and welcoming smile. "Greetings" he said, gesturing across from him, " Would you care for some tea ? I still have some left. " He offered, smiling. Yet another stranger had appeared, today was truly odd in this fact. Many diverse people had happened to end up in the same town, oddly enough.

Tyra nodded, listening to Lunar's tale.

"I have heard of these 'Nomads' before, though I regretfully know little about them," she admitted, grinning sheepishly beneath her hood, "would you mind telling me more about them?"

 

She perked up and turned to see Radiant, flashing him a grin, and seeing he had brought someone new; a diamond dog, by the looks of it. Radiant introduced them.

 

She hopped onto her hooves and removed her hood, wings sproining back to attention, and offered the newcomer a bow of the head.

"Well met, Alex van Gamer," she greeted, grin unwavering, "I do not meet many diamond dogs, so it is a pleasure!"

As Radiant sat there while the three introduced themselves he scanned the area around just to double check for any hostiles. As he did something caught his eye, it appeared to be the shape of a pony hidden well in the shadows of a building.

 

Radiant stood from his spot without saying a word and grabbed one of his swords with his magic just in case, but he did not remove it from his back yet. He approached the figure and as he got close he could tell in fact it was a pony. "How did I miss them earlier?" He asked himself.

 

Radiant was a few feet from them and stood straight. "How long have you been there and what are your intentions?" He asked with his guard up since most of those who hide in the shadows have some hidden intent.

Alex retained her smile as she was introduced to the others. "Ah pffft. I understand. Most of the pack don't usually come down this far south.. Those little pussy cats~" She replied with a wave of her arm before looking over towards the griffin. "Thanks fer the offer, but I'm not really a tea drinker."

 

Then with that, she hopped down into a seated position in front of them. "It's nice to meet you guys! So, what brings you all down here to bandit territory?" She asked, noticing Radiant stand up and walk off. The canine raised a brow in curiosity, but decided to let him do his thing, seeing as she had just asked the others a question and wanted to know what their responses were.

Chrysteel looks to him, a small hint of her pink coat showing. She notices his aura of magic and says, "Staying out of Discord's sky for a while. I mean you no harm. You have magic? I thought almost all ponies didn't have magic anymore, thanks to Tirek's rule. My name is Amorè Crystal. What's yours?"

 

She hold out and reveals a pink hoof to him. It is covered in dust, as if she traveled a lot.

Radiant cocked his head to the side at her notice of his magic, she didn't even seem to peer at his weapon which was enveloped in his magic. It seemed that somehow she knew he had his magic. "Um, yes I do." He said and held out his hoof to the mare offering to help her up. "I am Radiant Sentinel, former member of the resistance."

Chrysteel bumps hooves with Radiant before accepting his offer. "A pleasure. By the way, If you wondering how I knew you had magic, your aura is showing."

 

Once Chrysteel is standing, he can see that she hasn't eaten a good meal in a while. The pink of her fur is a bit lighter then it should be for one with a healthy coat.

 

Her stomach growls in protest for something to eat. "Excuse me. I haven't eaten in a while. So are there more of you or just yourself?" Chrysteel looks around not wanting to be caught off guard because somepony was being nice to her.

Radiant looked back to the other three behind a small distance behind him. As he was looking back he released his sword from his magic and used it to levitate a trail ration he had in his saddle bag to the mare. He looked back at her. "Here eat this, it's not the best tasting but it will hit the spot for a while." He said levitating the ration in front of her to take. "There are those three back there, we all just found one another here otherwise I'm on my own."

Lunar looked to Alex and grinned warmly. " I am a mere traveler, going across the land werever may go. I have come across many towns, and many people in this world. My travels, have simply brought me here, to the pleasant surprise of meeting such interesting strangers as yourselves" He said, giving a smile and taking a sip of his own cup of tea.

 

The taste was nice, washing over his tongue with a bitter taste, fallowed by a slight sweetness. He looked to Tyra to respond to her. " It is not unsuseal that you did not hear of us, we were quite reclusive" He said, but a I said, I split from the group seeking my own adventures, but I took many spiritual aspects of the group with me." He smiled.

"Here," Red said, quickly giving back the soup. "Thank you for giving it to me. It tasted quite good, but the apple was enough. It's your food, you take the rest." And though she wasn't going to mention it, she didn't like the taste of carrots.

So, Caliber was going to be a member of their group now... Most likely, Strider and Caliber would become quick friends, if only because Strider would constantly be asking questions of the past. She didn't know how she felt about that. It would provide new conversation and make fights easier, but she hadn't talked to a pony other than Strider for a long time.

At last, she said truthfully, "I am glad you will be joining us."

Chrysteel waits for his reply before making her next action.

"We are also rather recluse back home," she explained, with a slight nod, "With the bad weather, and the threat of Discord and Tirek, we do not dare venture out of the village often."

 

She narrowed her eyes and scowled at her mug. "Which is exactly why I came here. I wish to help rid the world of this threat, and if I may get enough support, my father may be willing to spare warriors to assist the effort."

Radiant looked back to the three and back to the mare. "Sure I don't see why now as you can see it's already a diverse group and we just seem to be finding more and more to join." He said as he turned toward the others.

 

Radiant gestured his head for her to follow as he begun walking back to the three. Once he was with them again he took a seat in the dirt.

Chrysteel approaches cautiously. She is still weary of them even though Radiant seems friendly. She takes a seat not to far but not to close either. Her causious logic and desire to feed keeping her from getting to close. She doesn't say anything yet. She does listen to what they say.

Alex nodded her head at their responses. "Oh, well that's cool." She replied, pausing a moment as her ears flickered from hearing hoofsteps behind her. Turning her head, she saw Radiant return with another pony not far behind. The diamond dog smirked a bit, "You're like a traveler herder~" She mused to Radiant, as she watched the two of them enter and take a seat. The canine looks over towards Chrysteel. "Greetings! My name is Alex Van Gamer, that's Lunar, and that's Tyra Shatterhoof." She says, gesturing to them in turn. "May I ask what your name is?"

Lunar let off a slight laugh at how everyone was gathering in one place. " It is one of lif's many pleasures to meet so many interesting and intriguing strangers, and all in one day no less. IT is a pleasure to meet you all" He smiled and looked to each and every one of them. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves, and Tyra was enjoying his tea, so he was very happy with himself.

Chrysteel says, "My name is Amorè Crystal. It is a pleasure. I hope you don't mind but distance is recommended because of personal reasons. I am not as normal as one would think and it is hard to control certain things right now."

 

Chrysteel looks to be nervous. She doesn't know weather to trust or not to trust. Besides even the others can tell she has seen better days.

As Radiant sat there we nodded at Lunar. "It is quite puculiar to encounter so many ponies in a day, let alone when all were traveling alone. Perhaps there is a chance of fate that brought us all together?" He said looking around the group, it was quite diverse to say the least.

 

Radiant looked to Lunar feeling rather thirsty. "Lunar, sorry to be a bother but by chance would you happen to have anymore tea? I have yet to be able to restock my canteen." He asked as he turned his attention to amore. "Hard to control what exactly?"

Tyra grinned over to the new pony and bowed her head to her.

"Well met, Amore Crystal," she greeted, then quickly shot her a concerned frown, "Dare I say, though, you do not look so good!"

 

She trotted over to the new mare, and began gently prodding around her with a hoof. It was apparent that she lacked a sense of personal space.

"You look as though you have not eaten in days!" She cried, then held up the rest of the tea Lunar had given her, "Perhaps this will help you?"
