Fluttershy and Big Mac love? why?

Of course, had Filli Vanilli not had happened, I'd still call Fluttermac a load of bollocks, and even then the episode still just further established Cheerimac *shrugs*

 

 

The writers pretty much treat CheerieMac as canon as ShiningCadance and CrankyMatilda.

Fluttermac is one of my favorite noncanon ships. I think they would go together really well as a couple. Although even them just hanging out together in more episodes would be cool.

 

I feel like their lifestyles are both on the more simplistic side. Both are hard workers. I could see Fluttershy living on a farm and help taking care of farm animals. (as seen she does take care of chickens). Big Mac and Fluttershy both seem like characters who tend to like to go at a slower pace with things. Plus farmer boy / pretty girl is a cute pairing idea. I could see Fluttershy feeling comfortable around Big Mac and that he would listen to her and such. After Filli Vanilli we know they both like to sing as well. I could also see Fluttershy taking care of Big Mac if he got injured or just helping him relax after a hard day at the farm.

 

It's always been my favorite noncanon ship in a casual sense but I started really liking after I met my special somepony and that seemed the pairing that fit to represent us most.

You know, I'm starting to re-evaluate my FlutterMac interest.

 

After seeing the interactions of Flutters & Bulk Biceps, I realized that FlutterBulk is a lot more plausable.

 

While Mac & Flutters would no doubt look sweet together, Flutters has a lot more experience directly working with Bulk.

 

Also, Bulk....like Mac....is actually a very gentle, sensitive, non-violent, peaceful guy (even if Bulk looks like a total steroid-head on the surface).

 

I usually loathe hyper-masculine meatheads and find bodybuilders repulsive-looking....however, Bulk's strength is in subverting THE HELL out of that notion. Bulk's actually a very sweet, gentle, sensitive, humble, adorable, nice, kind-hearted guy who would find those male-chauvanist fratboy meatheads utterly stupid.

 

Finally, Flutters & Bulk are actually very similar. They're both sort of odd "outsider" sort of people with hidden depths. They're both very socially awkward. Flutters is "Silk Hiding Steel" while Bulk is "Steel Hiding Silk". Both love VERY feminine things and have a strong, gentle feminine streak. Bulk may look like a "Macho Hyper-Masculine Meathead" on the surface....but in reality, he's a "Sensitive New Man"....who just happens to like weightlifing and looks like the "Dave Ryder" character from Space Mutiny.

 

I just saw the episodes with Flutters & Bulk and realized "They two have chemistry and they look SO CUTE together!".

 

Plus, Flutters was the Hulk-like, Saddle-Rager, once....very "Bulky". She can also give a large bear an awesomely aggressive chiropractic treatment!

 

 

So, from now on, I'll stick with CherriMac & FlutterBulk in my mind.

I don't really involve others in shipping stuff. Any "cloppy" thoughts will only involve humanized versions.

 

My humanized Bulk Biceps, while "Dave Ryder-ish", appearance-wise, looks more like Mike Nelson with muscles. I'm a big MST3K fan and always thought that hosts Joel & Mike were both total cuties and Mike is a lot cuter that Reb Brown's Dave Ryder. Bulk would be "Mike Nelson as Dave Ryder, with Muscles"....easier to imagine "intimate" situations concerning my human-MLP-people.

 

Big Mac, would be a hot young muscular C.K./Abercrombie/sexy calender-model looking guy.....except he's "country" and not a guy who models.
