After more than 14 years they'll get a new Shenmue game, with crowdfunding. They almost surpassed $3 milion.

I gave them 30 bucks. I want to search for more Sailors.

 

EDIT: BTW, if you guys pay 30 bucks, you get a digital copy for PC or PS4 for free, when it comes out.

They're almost past the 3,8 milion. Maybe they will hire the original voice cast again.

So let me get this straight: You only get a physical copy for PC and the PS4 version is only digital?

 

I never played Shenmue. I was hoping they'd release 1 and 2 in an HD Collection or something for those of us who never got the chance. I never owned a Dreamcast and most of its games have been available on other systems so I never really needed to buy the console itself. Shenmue is literally the only game from the system that I'm interested in but isn't available elsewhere.

Because they want to make everything digital. And I doubt the physical copy would make a difference. Even when you buy a physical game, you're still required to have a Steam, Uplay or Origin acount and online connection. DRM stuff has gone out of control. It made heroes out of pirates.
