The thing is he can be reasoned with now and it just takes some smarts to put him in his place but Chrysalis not so much. I just feel like Discord didn't fully mature because he didn't have another person to interact with. Chrysalis knows all the ins and outs of people pretty damn well. Discord made life hard for ponies during his reign but it should be noted it lasted 1000 years and the ponies were under his protection in some regard but at the expense of being playthings for his own amusement. Crystallis is certainly crueller, she values the survival of her hive at the expense of all others. Its also hard to say weither she views the changlings as her own children or as mere slaves (several of them seem happy when chyrallis showed some attention while she was explaining why they are invading.) The fact that changlings seem to find conquest the only means to acquire love does suggest a certain ruthlessness in the changlings as a whole. I think you got that detail mixed up. His reign took place 1,000+ years ago, but they've still never said just how long it actually lasted. Queen Chrysalis just wanted her species to survive even if it meant harming ponies.But she is definitely crueler to Ponies seeming to only care about her kind. And I think that if all the ponies and changelings switched places and the ponies were hunting down changelings because they had to feed on love and they thought they were evil and were invading their hive and doing cruel things to the changelings So that they could live. That then the Ponies would seem evil. Discord Did some bad things but really doesn't seem evil at all like thunder and lightning from Teen Titans 'Forces of Nature' He was having harmless fun in his point of view and didn't intend to harm anypony. Well, to answer the question, I would have originally thought Discord, since Discord loves to mess with people just for the fun of it, while Chrysalis was trying to actually feed her own race. But if I were to "detach" Chrysalis from the rest of the changelings, I don't know, I haven't read enough of the comics to know what she did outside of A Canterlot Wedding, so I'm just not sure how truly evil she is (you know, apart from her "changelingness"). XD Well, it definitely wasn't 5 minutes, but at the same time, I strongly doubt it was anywhere close to 1,000+ years. She transformed into Princess Cadance so that she could take over Equestria. She fooled everypony, and didn't have troubles hurting others to do so. She also enchanted Shining Armor, and made him completely under her control. He was incapable of even recognizing real Cadance when she came back. Discord isn't evil at all. 20% Cooler Than Cake 161 January 1, 2016 Share January 1, 2016 (edited) I think that I agree with the majority opinion, that Queen Chrysalis is more evil than Discord. However, as all of the arguments supporting Chrysalis have already been stated, I want to bring up a few points defending the claim that Discord is the worst of the two villains (before he was reformed). First of all, Queen Chrysalis only impersonated and controlled ponies so that her fellow changelings could live. Anypony would be willing to do anything for their family when in Chrysalis' situation. Discord, on the other hand, had no motives behind his actions except for his desire to be entertained, and was willing to do whatever he wanted with the ponies of Equestria, without any care as to what they were feeling. Also, note that when Queen Chrysalis attempted to gain control of Equestria, she simply impersonated Cadance and then caused Twilight's friends to distrust her. However, when Discord escaped and took control of Equestria, he purposefully not only controlled the Mane 6, but made them be the exact opposite of who they were, ultimately making none of them ever want to see each other again. Also, remember that even after Discord is reformed by Fluttershy, he continues to toy with other ponies' emotions without giving much thought.
