Celestia and Luna love lives

It's been over 1000 years you would think Luna and Celestia would have had some kind of love affairs with stallions. Why aren't they ever brought up? Shouldn't they be producing the next progeny for their thrones?

 

Though Twilight and Cadence could be the new heirs. Speaking of Cadence even she got hitched before they did and I doubt she lived as long as they did. Heck even Twilight is getting some of that Flash.

Canonically the show probably doesn't have too much reason to bring it up yet. Maybe never.

 

Headcanon wise I figure they've both definitely fooled around. Luna might not have a linage because THE MOON but Celestia probably has a few heirs. My personal take on it is that she doesn't especially need them because she's going to outlive all of them, and they probably all already died before Twilight was even born. The magic of Equestria finds suitable princesses, not Celestia's bloodline. Cele probably just had a family to experience it and she's content with being an immortal widower now.

I think there should be a story about Celestia's first love and when she outlived him she was forever faithful to him.

 

Okay enough sappiness but yeah that would be interesting.
