planning Casual Baltimare RP Reboot #2 OOC/Planning

So! I hate to keep ruthlessly assaulting a dead horse, but I'd like to get this going again, and feel that I'm in a better position to do so now.

 

The ole' Casual Baltimare RP theme. As always, just a nice Slice of Life with a little room for Adventure (within reason, and if the RP progresses enough.) Make friends, find love, live your day to day pony lives! Multiple characters allowed per person, no more than three per person though.

 

A couple of rules...just a few:

 

1. No, no, no, no, no, NO Alicorns. Even if the story for them makes some degree makes sense. If you post an Alicorn OC anyway, I will merely ignore it, so I hope everyone reads the rules.

2. No Mary Sue/Gary Stu OC's. I understand everyone has their little moments of overpoweredness or extra good fortune, but I don't mind being picky about what is or isn't over powered. This rule is always negotiable.

2b. Avoid doing Mary Sue-ish/Gary Stu-ish things. Again, it happens. I understand. I'm prone to it too. Just try to avoid it.

3. If you're going to do some sort of mega-post of any kind, try and warn the people involved to prevent confusion, and just for the sake of making it easier for any moderators to look at, just warn us in the OOC as well.

4. In the RP, should anything like sex, violence, drama occur, avoid doing anything beyond realistic boundaries (refer to rule 2 and 2b,) and talk it over with the people involved. It's your duty as a good RPer to be courteous.

5. Sex is allowed to be "implied" as I've always liked to put it. "Implied" essentially meaning you don't detail it, really.

6. Should you RP bigotry of any kind, warn people in OOC please.

7. It's not encouraged that you rush romance if you cannot play it off well.

8. (Not as much of a rule as just a request.) Don't let the fire die. I've seen my previous RP's die too fast. It's just a thing that happens, I know. I cannot force people to be interested, but I'd ask that people be willing to commit a bit to this RP.

9. Share the love! The more role players, the better.

I don't intend for the RP to be made stoic and depressing, if that's the image I'm giving off. Explodey and colourful is always possible, but when it comes to OC's, I have to draw lines with certain extremes.

Well you don't constantly see Applejack bucking trees or tucking into apple related food. Maybe Mars can be in it if he agrees to keep his oc's antics to a minimum?

I'm afraid I'm gonna stick by my decision on this one, I'm sorry if this has caused any sort of divide. .-.

 

If he feels compelled, he could very well make a new OC pertains to less of extremes, but I won't ask that directly of him, because I know it can be a lot of work.

Percy's gonna be in this? I wonder if it would be anything like our Cruise RP with Kothen if I entered Kisu. Probably not x3
Anyhow, I'm not going to do that.

For the time being I'll be entering Wintergreen and Evergreen in here for the time being. They may end up being temporary characters, but they may end up staying in Baltimare. 
Other than that, I may enter another OC at some point, but for now it's just these two c:
